Capsize's Pov

Andor was able to sneak me in through maid tunnels that are located under the castle.

I sit next to Andor on his bed. I can tell he's scared. It breaks my heart to see him this way.

"Capsize." He whispers and pulls my shirt sleeve down.

"If he asks you worship the one true god."

I nod, a yawn escaping from me. I throw my legs across Andors lap, his arm goes around me, and I nussle into his chest.

I close my eyes and I feel Andor start to tremble.

"Helgrind cut the kid some slack." A woman I think is a maid says.

"I love you. Never forget that." Andor says quietly to me. He curls his finger in the end of my hair over and over again.

"Andor?!?!?! Who is this!" Helgrind yells and I pull free from Andor.

"I'm Capsize. I was one of the sky travelers." I say standing up, I look like an ant next to Helgrind.

"And why are you here?" Helgrind snaps and Andor joins me.

"Because I want to be here. Is that a issue Helgrind?"

"You must be one too." Helgrind snarls, Andor moves closer to me and throws a protective hand around my waist.

"No, I worship the one true god." I say my hands start sweating. Helgrind rolls his eyes at me.

"You know I don't think Mianite would approve of your actions. Banishing the other two gods...." my eyes water thinking about what he's done to Andor.

"Beating your only son!"

"Leave! Now!" Helgrind yells and Andor lets his hand slide off my hip.

"No."

"Capsize." Andor sounds scared but I'm not leaving him. I'm not leaving him to be beaten by this man when he's done nothing wrong.

"Two against one! Now leave or I'll have you ordered out." Helgrind says standing up straighter.

"Capsize please just leave." Andor pauses and leans closer to me.

"I'll see you later tonight." He whispers, his lips just grazing the tip of my ear.

"I can't leave you. I'm not gonna let you get hurt." I whisper tears forming in my eyes.

"I promise I'll be okay. Go home." Andor backs away from me and I take off running out of the castle.

Time Skip

I pace back and forth waiting for Andor to meet me.

Its almost midnight and he's still not here. I feel myself starting to panic.

I wish my brother was here. He'd know how to calm me down.

Ianite's safe and that's all that matters, right?

The door burst open and Andor quickly pulls me into his arms.

Andor's Pov

I let out a sigh of relief as Capsize beings to sob in my arms.

I thought dad may have done what he threatened to.

"Andor." She sobs in my weak, trembling, arms.

I sit us down on the couch and Capsize slides off my lap.

She gasps when she sees the little cuts the trail the right side of my jaw line.

She opens her mouth to say something but nothing comes out.

Capsize gets up, damps a paper towel, then rejoins me.

She cool rag touches my face gently. I smile trying to ease Capsize's worries a bit.

"Hold this." She mutters then disappears again.

She comes back with nothing but tear filled eyes.

Capsize's Pov

Andor looks so defeated. Even when he smiles.

"You okay Caps?" Andor asks and I pull his sleeve up.

I run my finger over the dragon on Andor's arm.

"Please don't go back." Andor moves to where he's kneeling in front of me.

"Okay." Andor's voice catches. "I'll stay with you. I'll stay." I leam forward and our lips connect.

Our kisses go from short and sweet to long and heated.

Andor wipes my bottom lip with his tounge asking for permission, which I grant him.

His tounge explores my mouth as mine does his.

He lifts me up and sets us on the couch. I feel my hat fall to the floor, letting my long curls fall.
