*Janice Pov*

"Bhai! What a surprise." I said, lifting his call.

"Of course it is a surprise when my so-called sister forgot that she even has a brother." He said, and I rolled my eyes.

"Bhai! Class will start in a few minutes. I will talk to you later." I said, looking at the students walking inside the class.

"After the class is over, just walk to the café near the college. I will be there soon." He said hanging up, and I frowned.

"So what happened?" I asked him sitting in front of him.

"You have to tell me what happened." He replied with a serious expression.

"What do you mean Bhai?" I asked him frowning.

"Before going for the holiday, I saw that you are always lost in thoughts, but now you don't even smile. What happened?" He asked, holding my hand.

"Nothing Bhai! It is general in the marriages I guess. I am trying to get to adapt to him, and he is doing the same." I replied.

"How much time will it take? It's been what seven months already." He said sighing.

"No one wrote a book saying how much time will it take for a couple to settle right? Don't worry too much Bhai." I said smiling.

"I just... don't know." He said frowning.

"Ok! If ever I think there is a problem I will come near you within seconds." I said.

"Promise?" He asked raising his eyebrow.

"Promise." I replied and smiled when he sighed in relief.

"Let's go! I will drop you. At least one day, you will get relieved from the bus." He said, and we both walked outside the café.

"Hey! You are home early." I said, smiling when he walked inside the room.

"Did you say anything to your brother?" he asked frowning.

"What? No! Not at all. Why?" I asked him, frowning myself.

"Today morning he called and we talked, but it felt like interrogation more." He replied shrugging.

"He is just worried about me." I said, and he nodded walking towards me.

"You are looking good." He said sitting beside me.

"Thanks!" I said, smiling hearing the first compliment after marriage.

He slowly bent and pecked my lips making me stun. Then he held my face in his hands and started kissing more, and I complied.

I kissed him back feeling happy that he is taking the next step. After a few minutes, he released and got up from the bed.

"I will go and freshen up." He said walking inside the washroom, and I tried to control the smile.

I think that he likes me! I squealed inside and immediately rushed downstairs to serve food for all of us.

*Adithya Pov*

"Where do you think you are going?" Rajeev asked, stopping in front of me when I started walking outside the station.

"To home!" I replied shrugging.

"No! We are going somewhere else." He said and dragged me to some bar.

"Only two pegs." I said, looking at him.

"Did you ever drink more than that? I don't think so." He said rolling his eyes.

We talked for some time, and then the discussion went towards my married life. I sighed, hearing the words.

"I don't know what should I even do Rajeev." I said closing my eyes.

"Take the next step." He said, and I opened my eyes immediately.

"She will slap me." I said sipping.

"She is your wife idiot. For how many days will you suffer like this? Let her know that you are not backing down." He said and I slowly nodded.

I walked in our room to see her standing near the window. I walked towards her and hugged her from behind.

"I really like you Parul." I said, kissing her cheek.

"Hmm..." She mumbled.

So she may not slap me, I guess. I turned her around and held her face in my hands.

I gave her a few minutes to run away if she doesn't want me to do this. When she didn't move, I leaned forward and slowly pecked her lips.

I started kissing her and she kissed me back, making me smile on her lips. This is it, I guess.

I should have done this way before if I know she will be fine and move on with this kind of affection from me.

I left her after a few minutes and started freshening up to have our dinner.

I drifted off into sleep with a big hope and happiness regarding what should I do to make her think about me and even like me.

Maybe she already likes me. I mean we are living with each other for the past seven month's right.

Tomorrow onwards new start I guess.

*David Pov*

"What is this David? Where is your concentration while doing the job?" Dad shouted at me.

"Dad! I am trying right?" I asked him leaning back in the chair.

"I so want to think about a new one for this post." He said making me frown.

"You can't do that. You said if I get married you will give me the company, and now you can't move away from the word." I said getting up.

"Yes! Just that marriage is the reason because of which I am sparing you. Don't make this mistake anymore." He said, and I walked outside.

After his shouting, her brother called and interrogated me. What are people just thinking about me?

When I walked in the room and asked her about the brother. She said not to mind much, so I walked near her and sat in front of her.

I don't know why, but I wanted to kiss her, maybe because of all the shouting and also because of the fear that I may lose the company. But I did and she kissed me back.

I moved away from her feeling not at all good for kissing her even though I don't like her. And mainly I can't do all those romantic moves on her.

I am bored doing them for all these years. I should get away from her. I thought and had a long bath.

*Parul Pov*

"What is this I am hearing, Parul? You mother-in-law has not a single word to say about you. What are you doing?" Mom asked when I went to meet her.

"Mom! I don't care. Now can you please give me money." I said rolling my eyes.

"Not a single rupee will be given to you from here. You are married now so go and ask your husband. If there is an emergency, then we will give." I heard the Dad's voice.

"He doesn't have that much money." I shouted at them.

"Then reduce your expenses." Mom suggested.

"Who asked you guys to spoil me in the first place? Now you can't ask me to change my behavior suddenly." I said shaking my head.

"Who said anything about suddenly? Now it has passed a few months since you got married, and you should already start getting adjusted to the situation." Dad said folding his arms.

"I hate you guys." I said walking away.

"Leave the model dream." He said, and I stopped in my tracks.

"No! You said if I get married, then you will make other agencies to give me assignments otherwise you will make sure no one gives me them. Now I have them in my hands and try to get me more." I said and walked away.

"I really like you, Parul." I felt Adithya hugging me from behind.

"Hmm." I mumbled, not in the mood to say anything feeling anger at everybody.

Then I felt him kissing me, and I kissed back with the anger. After he left me, I just shook my head scolding myself.

Now he will believe there is something more between us. Dad! You are really a villain for me. I thought, frowning.
