*Adithya Pov*

I yawned a little, but still continued to stare at her while she is sleeping peacefully with her head on my shoulder.

I trailed my fingers on her cheeks and then towards her forehead and again towards her cheek. I smiled when she got a frown and slowly opened her eyes blinking a little before adjusting to the sunlight which entered our room.

"Good morning!" she greeted, smiling before snuggling closer to me but immediately frowned again.

"I... I will go and freshen up." She mumbled, trying to move away a little, but I stopped and pulled her closer to me again.

"Are you fine?" I asked her worriedly.

"Yeah! I am... I think so. I mean, yeah." She replied finally.

"So you were..." I trailed off breaking the silence which formed after her reply.

"Did you think I was not?" She asked raising her eyebrows.

"I mean... I just hope you will not mind what I say because I don't know how to put it in right words." First, I said these words hoping she will not misunderstand.

"Ok! You are scaring me but just say what you want to." She said frowning.

"You both were married for nearly one year right, so I thought you know you both must have already... you see... I mean... you got it right?" I asked her finally hoping she didn't get offended.

Nevertheless, she surprised me by laughing, staring at my face. She suddenly stopped and replied "I get it, and you need not necessarily to worry about it. But yeah, he never touched me except a kiss."

"Hmm..." I mumbled.

"Would you have been fine if David and I had consummated the marriage?" She suddenly asked.

"Of course! I mean you were his legal wife, and that is not a wrong thing. So don't think that I would have not liked if you had not been a virgin." I replied but hugged her tightly.

"So, did Parul and you?" She asked.

"No! I guess they both were faithful to each other." I replied, and we both laughed at that thought.

"God! I never thought I would laugh at some topic like that. But let's just forget about them." She said smiling.

"Yeah! And I really want to sleep for some more time." I mumbled, closing my eyes not leaving her.

"I don't have college today, but you have work." She said squirming in my arms.

"I will call Rajeev later and call in sick." I yawned mumbling to her and drifted off into sleep.

"Wake up!" I felt someone shaking me, and I opened my eyes to see Janice fully dressed sitting beside me.

"You got freshen up? What time is it?" I asked, looking at the clock.

"I got your breakfast. Now go and brush your teeth." She replied, gesturing at the tray on the table.

"Ok!" I said, getting up from the bed, but stopped hearing her scream.

"Wait! Let me close my eyes." She said getting up and turned her back towards me making me chuckle.

"Someone is shy suddenly." I said teasing her and walked to the cupboard and rushed inside the washroom.

When I walked outside I saw that she is sitting down on the bed holding the tray. I smiled at her and sat beside her before having the heavy breakfast.

"Want to go somewhere today?" I asked, getting up from the bed holding the tray.

"Some movie I guess. It's been so long." She replied, and I nodded.

We both went to watch some movie and then returned by evening after spending some more time going to the nearest park.

When we returned home, I saw that my phone is blazing with a call. I sighed lifting up and said, "What?"

"Dude! You will not take leave tomorrow, right?" Rajeev asked.

"No! Why?" I asked him, frowning.

"We will have heavy work tomorrow. I don't think it will be good if you take leave." He explained.

"Yeah! I will be there, don't worry." I assured him.

I hung up and walked inside our room to see her walking inside the washroom to freshen up. I just smiled at her and asked, "Can I join?"

"Sure!" she replied, and I looked at her in shock with tongue tied not having any words to say.

"After I freshen up, the whole washroom is yours." She added chuckling at my expression and rushed inside locking the door as I started taking steps towards her.

"So, now what?" She asked, laying her head on my chest as for me, I am just playing with her hair.

"All the steps are finished." She added looking down with a little blush on her cheeks.

"I know steps are finished, but there is so much more for us to live with. At present, I am actually feeling like I am in college, and that you are my girlfriend." I said smiling at the thought.

"I can't blame you when I too feel the same." She said looking up with a smile.

"I am very happy for both of us." I mumbled drifting off into sleep holding her in my arms.

*Janice Pov*

I woke up and immediately groaned because I don't want to go to college at all. I opened my eyes again to see Adi sleeping peacefully.

He got so tired with all the work he got yesterday. I brushed his hair a little and placed a small kiss on his forehead.

Then I remember the day when I did the same at the bar. He said he usually drinks every weekend little and at the beginning of our marriage, he actually did, but now I never see him doing that.

Am I becoming a nagging wife and not letting him do things he enjoys with his friends? I must be taking away all his time.

I frowned at that thought and suddenly got scared with the feeling that he may get vexed with me one day. I can't let that happen.

I need to do something very soon! I thought and started getting up, but he immediately pulled me on him making me shriek.

"I didn't like that good morning kiss." He said slowly opening his eyes.

"Then take what you like." I said flirting with him, which I didn't know I could until I met this man here.

"Ok!" He mumbled before giving me a kiss.

He started getting freshen up while I went downstairs to prepare breakfast for us. I walked back inside the room to only see him walking outside the washroom in the towel.

I just smiled at him and walked inside the washroom to have a bath soon before we both get late. After getting ready a little, I started combing my hair standing near the mirror while he is already ready completely.

"Why don't you take leave for today?" he asked hugging me from behind.

"Are you going to?" I asked him confused.

"No!" he replied pestering kisses on my bare neck.

"Then what will I do alone in the house if you go to work?" I asked him still confused.

"I will come home whenever I get break, and we can have some fun." He replied in a seductive tone making me chuckle.

"No chance, mister. Why don't you stay at home, and I will be here whenever I get a break? Then also we can have fun." I said, raising my eyebrow at him.

"Smart ass." He said and suddenly pinched my waist.

"God! I thought you forgot doing that." I said frowning and rubbed at the spot.

"Never! I just love it." He said, and I averted my eyes down.

"We are getting late." I said, walking out of his embrace.

"Nope! So how is my plan? Actually, I am fine with your plan too." He said walking towards me.

"Nope!" I said, shaking my head and walked towards the door holding my bag.

"Come on, Jaan. It will be fun." He said from the room while I am already climbing down the steps.

"No Adi!" I said shaking my head.

"Jaan!" he shouted, but I chuckled, shaking my head and started walking towards the dining table but stopped in my tracks looking at the two people in front of me.

"Hey, we will have so much fun. Just think about it. I mean you and me and our bed." I heard his voice nearing me, and I stopped myself from shouting at him.

"Why are you not saying anything Jaan..." he stopped when he too saw the people reaching me.

"Jaan... Janice! Did they hear?" he asked and I slowly nodded.

"Mom! Dad! How are you both?" he asked and I gulped seeing their shock expressions.

"We are fine." Aunty answered and we both nodded.

"Breakfast is on the table, and we are only leaving. We are getting late." I said smiling at them and rushed outside pulling Adi with me, and we were even able to hear the laughs.

"Just drive to our café." I said making him take out the bike, and I sat behind him.

After reaching the café and walking inside calmly, we walked near the corner table. We sat there and suddenly burst out laughing.

"I am going to die." I said, brushing my tears away.

"Tell me about it. I mean they heard everything like everything. I don't know how I will face them." Adi said, and I chuckled looking at him.

"It's ok! I am there for you." I said, patting his hand making pity sounds.

"Always?" he asked suddenly in a serious tone.

"Always!" I replied, smiling before ordering ourselves some coffee and little snacks as we both skipped the breakfast.

I just took little peeks at him for every few seconds, but every time I saw that he is already looking at me. I blushed averting my eyes while he held my hand in his hold tightly.
