"I will bring some water." I said, getting up from the lawn where everyone is sitting after the dinner.

When I pour them into few glasses and placed them on the tray, I felt him standing behind me.

"Let me help you." He said, placing his hands on the tray from behind me itself.

I slapped his arms away and held it in my hands. I turned around to see him staring at me with a raised eyebrow.

"I am unable to talk to both of our parents looking into their eyes." That's all I said walking away from him.

Surprisingly, both our parents started conversing with each other, and that's a relief for me. I walked back towards Bhai and Abby where Adithya's friends are also sitting.

"Why is he looking at you?" Rani asked in a whisper, making me look at him sitting beside Bhai and like she said he is staring at me.

"Nothing!" I replied, smiling and then he placed a plate with cake in it in front of me.

"Rani! See he brought a cake piece for you." I said smiling at her.

"He is so sweet guy, and that is the reason I wanted to marry him, even before he got that Parul's proposal, but bad luck, I didn't get the chance." she said and didn't stop while Adithya and Rajeev got up pulling her away.

"Wow!" I said along with Bhai and Abby.

I took their baby from them and played with her while Abby cleared her throat asking, "You are ok with them talking to each other and also with closeness even after hearing that information?"

I turned to see both in some conversation in whispers making me chuckle. I shook my head, smiling and glanced at Abby.

"I trust him like he trusts me." I said smiling.

"Then why did your face fall hearing that?" Bhai asked raising his eyebrow.

"I felt bad and just hoped that she doesn't get too much hurt with the crush thing because I know how much we think and feel at that age." I replied, and he nodded.

"But seriously, we never thought you both would be this comfortable." Abby said.

"Why?" I asked her frowning.

"You both are like alike and that sometimes causes problems or that's what the perception is for many people." she explained.

"Hmm." I mumbled, and we talked about something else changing the topic.

When they all left I took all the waste and put into the garbage while Aunty started taking care of putting the remaining food in the refrigerator.

We both went to our own rooms after locking everything down, nodding at each other normally.

I walked inside to see him sitting down on the bed holding the cake. I smiled and sat in front of him opening my mouth.

He smiled back and put the piece in my mouth. I chewed it with great difficulty, and he frowned seeing that.

"What happened?" he asked worriedly.

"I hate this chocolate flavor." I replied.

"Then why did you order it?" he asked, opening the bottle of water for me.

I took a gulp of water and said, "It is your favorite right."

"Are you fine now?" he asked and I nodded.

"I thought you said you would not eat because you are angry on me." He added.

"Did you ever let me feel angry for longer time?" I asked him back and got up to freshen up a little.

I returned and lay down with my head on his chest like every day. I took hold of his hand and calmly said, "Can we talk about something?"

"Sure!" he replied immediately.

"As far as I know Parul and you are opposite. Then David and I are opposite." I started.

"Yeah!" he said, agreeing to it.

"But we are very alike. Do you think that is a problem?" I asked, and he started playing with my fingers.

"What problem is there in that?" he asked, and I can hear confusion.

"Everyone says opposite poles attract Adithya." I replied.

"Hmm." he mumbled hearing that we both continued to play with each other fingers.

"But opposite poles need to get attracted to be together, whereas like poles always stay together, and they don't need some external force." He said making me smile.

"Your point is perfect but you forgot something, officer." I said and smiling more as we both joined my left hand with his right together.

"What is it, professor?" he asked and we started clapping the hands like that.

"Like poles repel officer." I replied, and I continued to stare at our clapping hands.

"That's a great point, but I have an answer for it too." He said making me frown a little in confusion.

"What is it?" I asked him.

"When the like poles are bound together by five things then forget repel they don't even get separated." He replied.

"What are those?" I asked him and all this time we felt the hands as the poles actually so we didn't stopped the moment of the clapping.

"Respect!" he mumbled tapping his thumb with mine, and we both bent them starting the joining.

"Trust!" he mumbled tapping his forefinger with mine, and we followed the same like before bending them.

"Friendship!" he mumbled tapping his middle finger this time making me smile.

"Likeness!" he mumbled immediately tapping the ring finger and we both actually waited a few seconds for each other, but immediately bent them and the joining of hands is almost complete.

"Love!" he whispered tapping the little fingers and we both didn't bend them, but let both attached to each other.

"I think this will also be bent soon." he mumbled, making me glance up to stare at his face.

I just looked at him, and I don't know why, but I placed my lips on his in a second. I moved them a little on his lips and immediately moved back realizing what I did.

My eyes widened while he just looked at me. I moved away lying on my stomach and even covered the back of my head with the pillow.

At present, I am getting an only story in my mind of a cat closing his eyes and thinking that, no one is looking at him. But I don't have the courage to look at him.

Slowly, I felt him removing the pillow, and I didn't stop him. Then he turned me around, but I still closed my eyes tightly like I said at present I got a cat's brain.

He brushed the hair away from my face, making me relax a little, but he pulled me to him before crashing his lips on mine.

I immediately held his shirt, and he continued to move his lips like mine, but along with tracing them with his tongue.

I didn't stop him and let him lead me opening my mouth, a little and that's when it became the best.

I kissed him back not having anything to stop me without any thoughts in my mind. I felt nothing but butterflies and we both smiled, releasing each other.

"See I told you that you would take step 7." He whispered over my lips.

Before I can say anything, he crashed them again like before, and I didn't stop him too.

Again, after releasing me, he smiled, saying, "I took step 8."

I frowned, but didn't say anything closing my eyes a little. He suddenly chuckled and said, "Next step 9 is yours."

That's all it took for me to move away from him and hit him with a pillow while he laughed dodging the hits.

"You are unbelievable." I said and laughing along with him.

"I only stated the truth." He said shrugging.

"You are dangerous, Adithya." That's all I said and continued to hit him.

hey i know i dragged the step but they could have kissed just like that and they did previous with their before partners but with a emotion raised in their hearts will make it special for them..

someone is missing david and parul here.. dont worry they will be in next chap making the drama enter.....
