In my latest artwork of Sketchtember, you see my black and white pictures are shaded and have some detail. Why not here?

The simple and no detail look is symbolism. It's a warning of lies. When someone lies, the picture has less detail. And you notice there's little to no shading in the last of these pictures which indicate they're even further into a lie. If the pictures have a lot less detail than usual, that's an indication something is wrong.
