Mariposa sat in the middle of the room, granted sitting next to a window would work better but she couldn't risk being seen. She closed her eyes and tried identifying negative emotions. Finding negative emotions in Sydney isn't hard, but the emotion needs to be strong and powerful, she still hasn't fully recovered from last week, so she needs the akuma's emotions to be strong enough by themself.

Benji frowned as he watched Mariposa, he had begged Andy not to transform but she had kept her promise and gave him a week, so the only thing he could do to help was to help her akuma win, minimizing the amount of energy she uses.

"I found it," she grabbed an akuma and evilised it, releasing the purple butterfly and watching as it flew out of the window.

"Who- " Benji's voice broke as he spoke, "Who are you akumatising?" He tried again, this time sounding small and unsure. He didn't want to make Andy feel bad, but he wasn't sure about her plan, and what she was asking him to do.

Andy wanted him to transform with the mouse miraculous but with a different costume and appearance. He didn't even know if he could do that and Mullo refused to tell him.

"Quinn Westwalker, she's angry and heartbroken after her co-star made a transphobic comment about her."

"That's messed up!"

Mariposa nodded. "When I was Oruga, she was one of my minions. She was angry at the casting director for not allowing her to audition for the role of Glinda. I don't know what happened, but he was fired and she ended up getting the role-" A purple mask formed on Mariposa's face.

"Drama Queen, I am Mariposa. I am giving you the ability to right the wrongs of this world, to give everyone a role, so that nobody feels left out or out of place. In return for these special abilities, I only ask for one thing, Ladybeetle and Night Noir's miraculous."

Benji shiver as he saw Mariposa so quickly switch from his best friend to a manipulative supervillain, he walked out of the room and closed his eyes. "Mullo, get squeaky!"

When Maléfique opened his eyes, he saw himself wearing the same outfit he was wearing when he was akumatised, a mixture of black and dark greys. His hair and eyes were also the same as his akumatised outfit, his hair was darker and his curls gelled back, his eyes were an electric blue. Maléfique grabbed his skip-rope, instead of his usual plastic white and pink rope, it was made out of manila hemp and black, the rope didn't even have handles.

Maléfique looked in the mirror, he was satisfied with his appearance, he looks nothing like Souris.

"Yeah, I can make dinner tonight. Busy day at work?" Aiden asked his older sister on the phone.

He heard his sister sigh, an old, tired sound, she was only three years older than him, but she already carried so much more responsibility. "You could definitely say that- just, I won't be home until late."

Aiden put her on loudspeaker as he looked in the pantry, they had a few meal options, but he wasn't in the mood to cook, "I'll just get a pizza."

"Do you need me to pay for it?"

"No, I have money, it's fine."

There was a moment of silence, an agreement made between the two, Aiden was about the hang up when- "Estella, you are kind, you don't need to change."

"Who- Quinn?"

Aiden smiled, Estella had told him about her coworker, Quinn Westwalker, he's met the girl once before. She was one of Oruga's minions and Ladybeetle spent hours fighting her, though he couldn't tell Estella that. Estella had the biggest smile on her face when she told Aiden about Quinn, Aiden smirked and asked if she had a crush on the girl, Estella responded with a blush and by pushing him off the couch. "I'm not Quinn anymore, my new name is Drama Queen."

Aiden felt his heart drop into his stomach, "Estella, you need to get out of there!"

The phone call ended before he got a response. "Shit, shit, shit!" He ran to his room where Tikki was sleeping, as he entered the room, he slammed the door behind him, "Tikki! Estella is in danger! I need to transform."

The half-asleep kwami quickly became awake at her holder's loud voice, "What are you waiting for?"

"Tikki, spots on!"

"Which floor is writing?" Ladybeetle asked the lady at the front desk, the lady stared at him star-strucked, he rolled his eyes impatiently, "Well?"

The lady looked down and than at a map on her desk, he groaned, "I- um... the third floor!"

Ladybeetle ran outside the building and looked at the windows on the third floor, thanks to the warm Sydney weather, almost all of them were open. He threw his yo-yo at one of the windows and felt as the wire wrapped around it, he pulled on the yo-yo and with one quick movement he was pulled twelve metres up. He heard gasped and applauses as he entered the building, usually he would blush or be embarrassed but he was too worried about Estella to think about himself.

Ladybeetle looked around the room, his head spun as he tried finding his sister and an akuma but all he found was a bunch of people and computers. "Where is Quinn Westwalker and Estella Reynolds?" He asked, trying to sound as authoritative and brave as he could.

A person from the front shook their head, "Quinn and Estella both went home sick."

"Why are they okay?" Ladybeetle heard a person ask.

Ladybeetle's eyes widened as he realised his sister lied to him, "Does anyone know where Quinn lives?"

Most people in the room shook their heads, some raised their hands but slowly put them down for some reason, some even gave Ladybeetle dirty looks like he was stalking their coworker. "I do." He heard a person say. Ash Harkins walked up to Ladybeetle, "I can show you."

"Thank you," Ladybeetle said, he was so grateful he could kiss the guy, though he is pretty sure Tiffy's cousin would beat him up if he did that.

Honeybee and Peafowl arrived together, they were on a date with each other when their phone went off with an akuma alert. Honeybee looked at the villain, "Wait- Haven't we fought her before?"

Peafowl looked at the akuma and grinned, "Yeah, we have. What is it this time, Dark Glinda?"

"It's Drama Queen!" The akuma cried, she waved her wand at Peafowl, a dark bubble speeding towards them.

Honeybee panicked as she saw the bubble speeding at her partner, "Peafowl!" Honey threw her spinning top at Peafowl, the toy wrapping around Peafowl, she pulled her out of the way as Peafowl came tumbling towards her at high speed. Peafowl crashed into Honey, tripping the girl over, Honey blushed as Peafowl laid on top of her.

Peafowl grinned as she saw her girlfriend blushing, "Thanks for saving me," they said as they rolled off Honey, quickly getting on top of her feet. Peafowl offered a hand to Honey.

"It's no problem," Honey said, a blush still on her face. She took Peafowl's hand as she got up. Honey looked at the akuma, Drama Queen was now occupied with a very upset Ladybeetle.

"Where is your coworker?!" He yelled as he searched the apartment for Estella.

Drama Queen shook her head, "Estella is safe, I let her leave."

Ladybeetle shot Drama Queen a look that was so venomous, that Honey was sure it would hurt even her stinger. "How can I trust you? How do I know that you don't have her hidden somewhere?"

"Estella is kind, she didn't need to change."

Night Noir, Tartaruga and Renard arrived, watching as Ladybeetle and Drama Queen did a stare off in the middle of the small apartment. Night looked around the room and sighed, "Souris is not here."

Tartaruga rolled his eyes, "Of course Minnie Mouse isn't here, he hasn't been active all week!"

"He's probably quit on us," Renard said bitterly.

Peafowl shook their head, "No way! He's probably just out of town or dealing with a family emergency!"

"He could had said som-"

"Is this really the best time?" Ladybeetle snapped, he couldn't deal with the team's usual bickering, not while his sister might possibly be in danger.

Night agreed with Ladybeetle, "Souris has his reasons but right now we need to focus." Night turned his attention to the akuma who was standing into front of them, entertainingly watching the team discuss Souris' whereabouts. "Quinn?" Night questioned, he hopes he remembered the akuma's name correctly.

Drama Queen sneered, "It's Drama Queen!" She aimed her wand at Night and shot a dark bubble at him. Night Noir used his baton to pop the bubbles. Night looked at the wand, it was a sliver colour, long and impressive, what was weird about the wand though, was that it looked as if it was just a piece of paper wrapped up into a stick.

Night eyes widened, "The akuma is the wand!"

Drama Queen raised her wand at Night Noir, Renard and Tartaruga and fired, Tartaruga grabbed his shell and used it as a shield, poping all of her the dark bubbles. "You think you're a smart kitty?" Drama Queen chuckled, "Finding my akuma is only half the job, now you need to get it."

Suddenly Drama Queen started aiming her wand at all of them, shooting an endless amount of dark bubbles at each of the heroes. Peafowl used her fan to reflect the bubbles, accidentally one of the bubbles went flying towards Tartaruga, Tartaruga in the last second possible ducked out of the way, "What the hell?!"

"Sorry!"

Maléfique could watch Drama Queen handle his teammates all by herself but he saw that she was getting tired. He watched through the window of Drama Queen's apartment as she shot dark bubbles at the heroes, it was a good tactic to keep them busy but each time they blocked the bubbles, so neither of the teams where getting anywhere. Maléfique grabbed his rope and sighed, "Here goes nothing."

Maléfique threw his jump rope at Night, the rope wrapped around the cat themed superhero, Night tried to wiggle out of the rope but it wouldn't budge. "Cataclysm!" Night yelled.

Drama Queen hit Night Noir with a dark bubble, "A bully."

"Night!" Ladybeetle cried, he threw his yo-yo at Drama Queen, it would had gotten her if Maléfique hadn't pushed Drama Queen out of the way. Night Noir looked at Ladybeetle, his eyes were cold and looked nothing like his partner's, Night sneered before looking away from Ladybeetle.

Renard gasped as he realised who was helping the akuma, "You!"

Maléfique grinned, "Me."

Honeybee looked at the person responsible for Night Noir getting hit by the akuma, "You're the akuma from last week, but how? I thought Mariposa could only akumatise one person at a time."

Maléfique felt a huge pit of guilt rise in his chest, he wasn't akumatised, he was misusing his miraculous against his kwami's wishes and tricking his teammates. The heroes stared at him, Tartaruga, Renard and Ladybeetle looked as if they were seconds away from ripping off his head.

Drama Queen crossed her arms, "Why did Mariposa send help? I don't need help! You go back and tell her I don't need help!"

Ladybeetle's eyes widened, her, Mariposa is a girl! Maléfique felt his grip on his jump rope tighten, Andy had purposely been keeping her gender a secret. Maléfique wanted to yell at the akuma, scold her for making such a stupid mistake but he knew that would do more harm than good and give away the fact that he has a close relationship with Mariposa. Maléfique used to superheroes confusion and shock to his advantage. Maléfique threw his jump rope at Renard (who in his opinion on the weakest fighter), "Night, Renard is a nerd, look at him wearing that necklace. You should take it off of him, use your cataclysm if you must."

Night Noir (or Bully Noir) chuckled as he saw Renard wearing his miraculous, "Give me your necklace nerd!" He demanded as he walked up to Renard, the fox themed hero tried shaking himself out of Maléfique's grip but it was too tight, almost as if it was a miraculous weapon.

Tartaruga jumped in front of Renard, "Night, snap out of it."

"Tartaruga, don't-"

Drama Queen jumped on top of Tartaruga, pinning the superhero down. Drama Queen started to reach for Tartaruga's miraculous. "Tartaruga!" Honeybee yelled, she threw her spinning top at Drama Queen, the villain reflected the spinning top.

Ladybeetle bit his lip, his eyes bounced from Night Night and Maléfique about to take Renard's miraculous and Drama Queen about to take Tartaruga's. He looked at Honeybee and Peafowl, the two were trying to stop Drama Queen and Maléfique from getting their teammates' miraculous. "Lucky charm!" He threw his yo-yo in the air, an unusual red phone with black polkadots fell on top of him, hitting his head, "Ow."

When Ladybeetle wasn't looking Peafowl and Honeybee must had used their powers because sentibeing of Night Noir was standing in front of them. Night Noir left Renard alone and started walking up to the being with his chest pointed out, "Who are you?!" He exclaimed, pointing one of his long claws at the lookalike.

The sentimonster ignored Night Noir and walked over to Drama Queen, "Cataclysm," Senti-Night went to grab Drama Queen's wand, the girl growled, forgetting all about the superhero underneath her. She grabbed her wand and used it on him, "A popular girl!"

Drama Queen aimed the her wand at the sentimonster, the dark bubbles hitting Senti-Night but not affecting him, "Wha-," before the akuma had the chance to react, Senti-Night touched her wand, cataclysming the object.

"Woah," Peafowl said as she watched her sentimonster defeat the akuma, Honeybee smiled proudly as she whispered as small 'good job' to her girlfriend.

Ladybeetle caught the akuma and de-evilised it.

Maléfique heart dropped, 'now it's my turn' he thought. He watched as the group of heroes turned to face him, Ladybeetle looked at his red phone and then back to him. Night Noir turned back to normal, joining the heroes in their stare competition against Maléfique. "So..."

"Your turn," Tartaruga said, the eagerness in his voice making Maléfique uncomfortable.

"About that-" Maléfique grabbed his rope and threw it out of the apartment, his heart racing as he heard the heroes follow him. He turned left, then right and then left again, dodging and sweeping in every possible pattern, he can't let them know where he lives.

Maléfique kept swinging with his rope, ignoring the occasional taunt made by the heroes, he rolled his eyes as he heard Tartaruga yel, "What's wrong? Scared that you'll lose without your partner?"

"Says you! You have five of them!"

Maléfique heard Peafowl snort which his can only assume was returned with a glare.

Maléfique used his rope to swing into traffic, cars, buses and taxi's surrounding him, the perfect place to lose six determined superheroes. Maléfique went behind a bus and looked around to see if anyone could him see, "Mullo, let's rest."

He detransformed, "Mullo, hide!" Benji said as he heard the superheroes coming.

"But-"

"Now!" The kwami ducked her head as she hid herself in Benji's jacket. He felt guilty about snapping but he didn't have time to apologise right now.

Benji walked away from the bus and off the road, he kept his head down and grabbed out his phone pretending to text. "Benji?" He turned Peafowl asked from behind him, 'shit.'

The curly haired boy turned around to face Peafowl, his eyes widening as he saw the other heroes behind her. "Oh my gosh!" He pretended to sound excited, "Can I have an autograph? Tartaruga, you're my favourite, could you sign my shirt?"

Peafowl smiled softly as she watched their roommate gush them and their teammates. Tartaruga eyed the boy sceptically, "Did you see an akuma go past just then?"

Benji shook his head, the palm of his hands started to sweat, "N-no. Sorry, I was on my phone texting my friend."

"Surely you saw something!"

Ladybeetle looked down at his lucky charm, a phone. He got a bad feeling, he already had some suspicions about Benji, but he thought it was just his trust issues. "Have you ever been akumatised Benji?"

"What?" The young boy asked, fuck, fuck, fuck. "No, you would know if I had."

"Yes b-"

     Beep, beep, beep, beep.

Ladybeetle cursed as his miraculous beeped, he only has a a minute left. He took a photo of his lucky charm with his yo-yo before throwing the lucky charm back in the sky. "Miraculous Ladybeetle!" He exclaimed.

    Beep, beep, beep, beep.

Honeybee and Peafowl's miraculous rang in unison, "We have to go."

Renard nodded, "I'll go back and check on Quinn, we kinda just abandoned her."

"So no autograph?" Benji asked before once again receiving a glare from the turtle-themed superhero, Benji took that as his cue to leave.

The heroes turned to each other and fist bumped, "Team miraculous!"

Sorry about the wait for this chapter, I started it early April and got 2000 words written before losing all my motivation.
