Chapter Six: The Other Aliens & Concerned Werewolves

Malia's Pov

We met up with the others and now we were walking down the hallway together, trying to find Willa, Wynter and the alien girl.

Wyatt was currently holding a sleeping Emily in his arms. He told me that she fell asleep a few minutes after I left.

Wyatt and I were holding hands as we continued walking.

We smiled when we spotted Willa and Wynter along with the alien girl.

"We even created a digestible bacterial fermentation of lactose at sub-zero stasis" I heard the alien girl explain.

"Woah" Wynter gasped, clearly impressed.

I chuckled at her impressed look along with the neutral look on Willa's face.

But knowing my feisty werewolf best friend, she obviously has some doubts about these aliens.

I don't know why, they're really friendly.

"Froyo?" the boy alien, who's name we learned is A-lan, asked.

"Yeah, we got that too" Wyatt nodded.

"Impressive" the girl alien smiled, nodding her head.

"If you're here to invade Seabrook, our pack won't go down without a fight" Willa sternly said.

"Willa, relax" I sighed.

I understand that she has trust issues, but can't she be a little bit nice, or at least welcoming.

I mean, they haven't even done anything bad.

Not including when they first arrived cause that was chaotic.

"We do not want your one-star planet. They are so emotional" the girl alien scoffed.

Wyatt, Willa and Wynter gave her an offended look while I tried my best not to laugh at their expressions.

"Yes, but when in Seabrook, I'm going to disengage our emotional suppressors. Personally, I'm excited to see what emotions feel like" A-spen said.

They did something on their advanced watch and a bright blue light surrounded them.

When the light was gone a smile appeared on A-spen's face while A-lan and the girl alien remained the same.

"Excited. That's an emotion. It feels so exciting" A-spen grinned.

Addison, Zed and I smiled at them, happy that they're happy.

"We've decided to let you stay until after the cheer competition, but not a day later" Missy politely but sternly said.

"Thank you, Mayor. We are honored to join your cheer competition" A-spen smiled.

"What is cheer?" the girl alien asked.

"Oh, don't worry. I'll show you later" Addison smiled.

"Also, what is competition?" A-lan asked.

"When you challenge others to prove you're the best" I shrugged.

"No, we are harmonious people. We do not compete amongst ourselves" A-lan smiled.

Makes sense. Not alot of people are competitive and that's fine.

"Although, that is an intriguing concept, is it not?" A-lan asked, looking at Zed.

"Hi, I'm Zed. Zombie, football star. Generally well-liked" Zed smiled.

"Well, as you know I am A-lan. Extraterrestrial" A-lan smiled.

"Hey, the haters say I'm a little extra too" Zed chuckled.

"Are they wrong?" I teasingly asked.

This earned snorts from the others while Zed glared at me, making me smile innocently at him.

He rolled his eyes at me before turning back to A-lan and extending his hand for him.

"Oh, competition" A-lan grinned, rubbing his hands together in excitement.

"No, it's just a handshake" Zed said.

A-lan accepted the handshake but much to my surprise he ended up electrocuting Zed.

All of us jumped back, clearly startled by A-lan's actions, as we watched Zed get electrocuted.

When A-lan released his hand Zed stumbled back into Addison, groaning in pain.

"Did I win?" A-lan asked.

"No, you didn't win" Zed said, clearly annoyed.

Addison checked up on him to make sure he's alright while I gently patted his shoulder.

"Apologies. Our people have a special stardust spark" A-spen said.

"That some lesser species may find painful" the girl alien sassily said, crossing her arms over her chest.

This made Willa's necklace glow blue as she snarled at them, her fangs showing as well as her claws.

The aliens flinched back, clearly caught off guard.

"Willa, calm down" I warned her.

Willa glanced at me before sighing in annoyance as she stopped wolfing out.

"Welcome to Seabrook" Willa smiled at them.

"Hi" the girl alien smiled at her.

A-lan and A-spen smiled at us, causing the rest of us to smile back at them.

A-lan looked at me and smiled, I smiled at him and nodded my head.

Wyatt noticed and glared at him, pulling me closer to his side, causing me to sigh in annoyance.

"Well, as fun as this is, I gotta get going. Emily needs rest and we've got school tomorrow" I said, gesturing to the others.

"Yes, Malia's right. Everyone go home and get some rest" Principal Lee sternly said.

Everyone smiled and nodded their heads as Principal Lee, Missy and Dale left.

Bonzo and Bree said goodbye as they left since Bonzo wanted to get Bree home before going home himself.

Bucky left because he was tired and wanted to get some rest. Or, as he says, his beauty rest.

Addison and Zed said that they'd hang with the aliens for a few minutes before going home.

"Wait, before we go, I'd like to know your name. I never go it" I smiled at the girl alien.

"Oh, yes of course. I'm A-li" the girl alien, A-li, smiled.

"Nice to meet you, A-li. Love the name by the way. I'm Malia" I smiled politely at her.

"Huh? I like her" A-li smiled, looking at A-lan and A-spen.

I chuckled at that before bidding the three aliens goodbye before leaving the building with Wyatt, Wynter and Willa.

Willa offered to hold Emily since Wyatt was getting a bit tired.

As we walked out of the building Wyatt and I held hands, interlocking our fingers together.

While we were walking Wynter turned to us, a confused look on her face.

"Do you guys really think they're here to cheer?" Wynter asked.

"What makes you say that?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at her.

"It's just, I feel that they're here for another reason, I just feel it" Wynter said.

"I agree with Wynter, I feel it too. Those aliens have to be here for another reason" Willa nodded.

"Oh come on, they said they're here for the cheer competition. And besides they're really friendly" I smiled.

Wynter sighed and shook her head while Willa scoffed.

"Them being friendly could just be a cover. Do you not remember their arrival?" Willa asked, adjusting Emily on her hip.

"Yes, I'll admit they're arrival was chaotic, but they said they were sorry" I said.

Willa sighed and shook her head, still doubtful.

"Those aliens are here for a reason and it's not to cheer. Rest assured I'm going to find out what it is" Willa sternly said.

Wynter nodded her head, clapping her hands together.

"Those aliens better not hurt Malia or Emily or I'll be throwing claws" Wynter scowled.

I chuckled softly at my best friend, ruffling her hair.

Wynter and Willa began walking ahead while Wyatt and I walked behind them, our hands still clasped together.

Come to think of it, Wyatt has been quiet ever since we left. He hasn't uttered a single word.

What's up with him?

We finally made it home but I couldn't go inside just yet. I had to talk to Wyatt and ask him what's wrong.

So, I took the keys from my pocket and handed them to Willa.

"Can you guys put Emily to bed, I need to talk to Wyatt" I said.

Willa smiled and nodded her head, glancing at the two of us, before she opened the door and walked inside.

Wynter flashed the two of us smiles, she patted my shoulder before walking inside the house, closing the door behind her.

When the door closed I turned to Wyatt, pulling my hand away from his, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Wyatt, what's wrong?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" Wyatt asked, confused.

"Lets start with the fact that you've been quiet the entire time we were walking. You're always talkative" I said.

"I don't need to talk all the time" Wyatt shrugged.

"I get that, but what's the reason? And don't tell me there's none because I know you" I sternly said.

Wyatt sighed and shook his head.

I caught the look in his eyes and I groaned in annoyance.

"You don't trust the aliens either, do you?" I asked.

"Maybe" Wyatt shrugged.

"Wyatt" I groaned.

"Can you blame me? I mean, they entered Seabrook and nearly destroyed the entire town, all to tell us that they came here to compete in the cheer off" Wyatt said.

I shook my head, running my hands through my hair.

"Wyatt" I sighed.

"Malia, baby, I'm serious. I just don't trust them" Wyatt said.

"Why? They've been nothing but friendly, not counting A-lan electrocuting Zed" I said.

At the mention of A-lan a low growl escaped Wyatt's lips.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and looked down, only to see his fist clenching in anger.

Realization washed through my body and a tiny chuckle escaped my lips.

"Are you jealous of A-lan?" I asked.

"Maybe" Wyatt muttered under his breath.

"Wyatt, babe, really? Why are you jealous? I literally just met the guy today" I asked.

Wyatt sighed and sat down on a nearby chair.

"It's just the way he looked at you, the way he smiled at you just got me so angry. I can see a glint in his eyes when he looks at you. Almost as if he likes you" Wyatt explained, a scowl forming on his face.

A sigh escaped my lips as I shook my head and walked over to him.

I sat down on his lap, straddling him, causing him to look up at me.

The scowl disappeared from his face as a small smile appeared on his face as adoration washed through his eyes.

"Babe, come on, I just met the guy. I doubt he even knows what a crush is, considering he didn't know what competition was" I said.

Wyatt sighed as he sat up straighter, placing his hands on my hips.

"I get that, but it just bothers me. I don't care if he knows what a crush is or isn't. Can't he see that this gorgeous girl in front of me is mine" Wyatt scoffed.

I giggled at his behavior, cupping the sides of his face.

I've always liked Wyatt being a bit jealous, it's cute, and for some reason I can find it hot too.

I guess you can say we both get jealous and we both find it cute and hot. It's just how we are.

"You know, I can take your mind off that" I smirked.

I leaned in and began kissing his neck, smirking when I heard him gasp in surprise.

I continued kissing his neck before moving down to his shoulders. I gently pushed his shirt down, wanting more access, before beginning to kiss the skin there.

"Malia" Wyatt moaned.

A proud smirk appeared on my face, it makes me happy to know that i'm the only one that can make him like this.

I pulled away, pulling his shirt back up, before moving back up so we were eye level with each other.

"Feel better now?" I asked, a seductive smirk on my face.

"I will admit, I did enjoy that" Wyatt nodded, breathless.

Of course. I know just what to do to make his worries go away.

"But, it's not stopping me from being suspicious" Wyatt added.

The smirk on my face disappeared and an annoyed groan escaped my lips.

Are you serious right now?

"Wyatt, babe, come on" I sighed.

"Malia, baby, you know I love you. But should we really trust these aliens? I mean, what if they're here for another reason?" Wyatt asked, worried.

Ok, it's understandable why he'd have some trust issues.

It's understandable for anyone to have trust issues and be suspicious of anyone.

But the aliens so far have been friendly, despite knowing them for just a day, and they have agreed to stay here only until the cheer competition is over.

"Babe, I know you're worried that they might be dangerous and start some trouble, but they're not dangerous. They're really friendly and they said that they're only here for cheer, nothing else" I said.

Wyatt still didn't seem convinced, his facial expression says it all, which made me sigh.

What can I do to convince him they're not dangerous?

A smile appeared on my face as an idea came to mind.

I placed my hands on his shoulders, causing him to give me a confused look, before leaning in as my lips connected with his.

The kiss was soft and sweet, just like always.

Wyatt hummed into the kiss as a smile spread across his face.

I smiled when he slowly brought his hands to my hips and rested them there, bringing me closer to his side.

A few minutes passed and we pulled away, pressing our foreheads against each others.

"Babe, there's nothing to worry about. The aliens are friendly and they're only here to cheer. And remember they have to leave after the competition so it's not like they're gonna be here forever" I explained.

"I know, but-" Wyatt started but I cut him off.

"No buts. Please remember that they're not gonna be here forever. Even if they wanted to stay, they couldn't. I can assure you that they mean no harm, there's nothing to worry about" I softly said.

Wyatt pressed his lips into a thin line as he stared into my eyes.

A sigh escaped his lips before he slowly nodded his head.

"Ok, I'll try and be nice to them and I'll try to trust them. But just like Willa, I'm gonna keep an eye on them" Wyatt said.

A small soft smile appeared on my face as I cupped the sides of his face, leaning in to give his nose a kiss.

"Thank you for understanding" I softly said.

"For you, of course" Wyatt softly smiled, wrapping his arms around my waist.

If only I had known that this was just the beginning.
