A Year Later
Malia's Pov

A year has passed and so much has happened. I can tell you that.

First lets start off with the fact that not only are zombies accepted into Seabrook, but so are werewolves.

Everyone used to be afraid of zombies, but now they accept them. Everyone used to be afraid of werewolves too, but now they accept them just like they do with zombies.

I'm glad that the werewolves decided to stay in Seabrook. I've grown really close to them and it would've broken my heart if they left as soon as they found their moonstone.

And lets start with the fact that I've not only completely moved on from Ben, but I'm now in an amazing relationship with my loving boyfriend, Wyatt.

I honestly never thought I would find myself falling in love with someone again. After what Ben did to me I wanted nothing more than to avoid falling in love because I didn't want to experience another heartbreak.

But, Wyatt is different.

He loves me. He really loves me. I can see it in his eyes and his actions alone let me know that he truly loves me.

Ben could never compare to him because Wyatt because I know Wyatt would never hurt me the way that Ben did.

Alot has changed in Seabrook. And for the better.

Now, moving onto right now.

Today is Emily's 2nd birthday.

Missy and Dale agreed to throw a party for her at the house. We agreed to only invite close friends since we didn't want a huge block party.

Emily can get a bit nervous around people she doesn't know quite well and the last thing I want is to overwhelm my daughter.

So, Missy and Dale were currently in the backyard, decorating everything.

Addison and Bree were in Addison's room getting ready.

The guests should be arriving soon so we had to pick up the pace a bit.

Hopefully Missy and Dale are nearly done with the decorations. They already took care of the food beforehand so we're good.

I was in my room getting ready. I had finished my hair and my makeup. I was currently getting into my dress and after that I had to pick out some shoes.

I smiled at myself in the mirror. I spun myself around before walking over to my bed.

I sat down and grabbed my black high heels that were near my bed and began putting them on.

I heard a knock at my door and I'm gonna assume it's the girls.

"Come in!" I yelled.

The door opened and Addison and Bree walked in. Addison had her hair in a nicely done ponytail, she wore a short pink dress and pink flats.

Bree had her hair straightened out, she wore a short blue dress and blue sneakers.

"Wow, girls, you look beautiful" I smiled as I stood up from my bed.

"Us? What about you? You look stunning in that dress" Addison smiled.

"Agreed. That dress is perfect" Bree smiled, clapping her hands together.

"Thanks, girls" I smiled, brushing some hair away from my face.

"Wyatt is definitely going to melt when he sees you in that dress" Addison smirked.

I blushed bright red at that while Addison and Bree began laughing, making me groan in annoyance.

When they were done laughing and the redness from my cheeks disappeared I walked over to my desk to grab my locket. 

I took it off when I had to shower and get dressed, I always do it since I don't want to risk it getting wet.

"Speaking of Wyatt, where did he, Willa and Wynter take Emily again?" Addison asked, raising an eyebrow at me.

"Oh, they took her to the werewolf den. Ever since Wyatt and I started dating he wanted her to see the den for the first time. And Willa wants her to get to know the werewolves better" I explained.

It's fair to say that Wyatt, Willa and Wynter are all fond of Emily. They love her with all their hearts.

And luckily I was able to convince them to take her out of the house while we get everything ready.

Once my locket was back on I went to look at myself in the mirror. I smiled at myself before gesturing the girls over.

They both smiled and walked over to me. When the three of us looked at ourselves in the mirror we smiled.

"Damn, we look good" I smirked.

"Of course we do" Bree smiled, flipping some of her hair.

Addison giggled before nodding her head in agreement.

Just then we heard the doorbell ring, causing the three of us to look at each other.

"Looks like our guests have arrived" I smiled.

Bree and Addison smiled before the three of us walked out of my room to head downstairs.

When we got there Addison walked to the front door and opened it. A smile appeared on her face when she saw Zed, Zoey and Mr. Necrodopolis.

Zed and his dad were wearing casual suits while holding presents in their hands. Zoey wore a short green dress with green boots and she was carrying her puppy that Addison gifted her.

"Zed!" Addison squealed.

She wrapped her arms around him, hugging him. This made Zed laugh before hugging her back, placing a kiss to her head.

When they pulled away Addison allowed them to come inside.

"Zed, my favorite zombie buddy!" I squealed.

I walked towards him and hugged him tightly. He chuckled before wrapping his arm around me, hugging me back.

When we pulled away I gave a quick hug to Mr. Necrodopolis and Zoey.

"Thank you guys for coming. It means alot to me and I know it'll mean alot to Emily as well" I smiled.

"Of course, Malia. You know we all adore Emily" Zed smiled.

"Exactly, we wouldn't miss her birthday" Mr. Necrodopolis smiled.

"And we brought presents" Zoey smiled, pointing to the presents that Zed and his dad were holding.

"Aw, you guys didn't need to bring presents, you know Emily would've just been happy by you guys being here" I smiled.

"We know, but she deserves a little something, especially now that she's 2 years old" Zed said.

I sighed and shook my head.

I can't believe my baby girl is 2 years old. It feels like yesterday she was just a newborn baby.

"Well, Bree, could you take our guests to the backyard. I'm sure Missy and Dale are nearly done with the decorations" I smiled.

"Sure thing, come on guys" Bree smiled.

Bree led them to the backyard, leaving just me and Addison.

The doorbell rang, again, and this time I opened the door. I smiled when I saw Eliza and Bonzo.

Eliza had her hair in a bun, she wore a green tank top, green jean jacket, green pants and red boots. She also had a present in her hand.

Bonzo wore a red shirt, red pants and green boots. He also had a present in his hand.

"Hey guys, you made it" I smiled.

"Of course, we'd never miss Emily's birthday party" Eliza smiled as Bonzo nodded in agreement.

I smiled and let them in. I closed the door and turned around to see Addison leading Bonzo to the backyard where the others were.

"Hey, just to remind you that I'll have to leave the party early. I have to get to bed in order to wake up early tomorrow" Eliza said.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention.

Eliza was offered an internship at Z-Corp and of course she accepted. She starts early in the morning tomorrow, which is why she can't stay here for too long.

"Don't worry, I get it. I'm just glad you still came" I smiled.

Eliza smiled and nodded. We shared a quick hug before we both walked out to the backyard.

When we got there I saw Dale and Mr. Necrodopolis talking while grilling up some hamburgers, just in case the food was to run out.

Missy was talking to Addison and Zed. Bonzo and Bree were with Zoey, both of them playing with Zoey's puppy.

Eliza walked over to put her present with the others before making her way to Bonzo, Bree and Zoey.

I took the opportunity to look at the decorations and I let out a loud gasp.

(Pretend it says Emily)

The decorations were amazing. Absolutely amazing. It's just how I wanted it for Emily.

Addison wasn't lying when she told me that Missy was the queen of decorations. She certainly is.

Missy, Addison and Zed walked over to me the minute they heard my gasp.

"Well, do you like it, sweetie?" Missy asked.

"Like it? I absolutely love it. It's amazing" I squealed.

I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her tightly. Missy laughed and hugged me back while Addison and Zed laughed softly.

We pulled away and Missy gently kissed my forehead, causing me to smile.

We just have to wait for the other guests to arrive before Willa, Wyatt and Wynter arrive with Emily.

An Hour Later

The rest of the guests have arrived and now it's just a waiting game. At least until Willa texts me to say that they're nearly here.

The rest of the guests consist of Eliza's mom and grandmother, Bucky and his parents, the ACEY'S, the coach and Principal Lee.

Some of the werewolves came too, along with some of the werepups. Not all of them came because some decided to stay back and look after the elders, that and because some of them were too tired to party.

But the werewolves and werepups that did come brought presents for Emily.

I smiled as everyone was interacting with each other. The adults were together on one side while the teenagers were together on the other side.

"Oh, it's almost time. Do you think Emily will like it?" I asked, looking at my best friend.

"Malia, stop worrying. I can assure you that Emily's going to love this" Addison smiled.

I sighed and nodded my head. Zed walked over to us, wrapping an arm around Addison's waist.

"Malia, stop worrying, Emily's going to love this. She loves everything you do for her" Zed reassured me.

"I know, I know. I just want to make sure she has a great time" I said.

"She'll have a fantastic time. I promise" Addison smiled, gently rubbing my arm to give me some comfort.

I sighed and slowly nodded my head.

Just then I heard my phone chime. I took it out and saw it was a text from Willa, telling me that they're close by, literally a minute away.

"Ah! Ok, they're nearly here. Addy, go tell everyone to get into position" I said.

Addison nodded her head and walked away, leaving me and Zed.

Zed smiled at me and gently ruffled my hair, making me playfully glare at him and smack his hand away.

"Malia, we're ready!" Addison yelled.

I nodded my head before Zed and I ran off to get into position.

Missy and Dale made sure everyone was quiet so we could hear if the front door opened.

Luckily we heard it and everyone began whispering, but once again, Missy and Dale shushed them.

I held my hand up, ready to give the signal as soon as I saw Willa, Wynter, Wyatt and Emily.

A few seconds passed and I saw Willa, Wynter, Wyatt and Emily walk into the backyard. Willa was carrying Emily.

"Now!" I yelled.

Everyone jumped out with smiles on their faces and their arms in the air.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EMILY!" everyone cheered.

This made Emily's eyes widen in shock and her jaw drop while Willa, Wynter and Wyatt smiled at her reaction.

Willa, Wynter and Wyatt walked down the stairs and walked closer towards us. Willa set Emily down and I smiled at her outfit. 

She wore a pink dress, pink flats and had a cute bow on her hair. My daughter is absolutely adorable.

I smiled and walked towards my daughter and crouched down in front of her, causing her to look up at me with a smile.

"Mommy" Emily smiled.

"Happy birthday, princess!" I yelled.

I opened my arms and wrapped my arms around her, hugging her tightly.

Everyone smiled and laughed at our interaction.

Emily laughed loudly before wrapping her small arms around me, hugging me just as tightly.

We remained that way before we pulled away. I smiled at her and gently cupped the sides of her face, giving her forehead a gentle kiss.

"Do you like the surprise mommy prepared for you?" I asked.

Emily smiled widely and nodded her head, making me giggle.

"Well, you'll also have to thank Missy and Dale since they set everything up. And look, all our friends came to celebrate" I smiled.

I nodded towards the others, causing Emily to turn around to look at them.

When she saw them a huge smile appeared on her face.

She looked at me and I smiled at her while nodding my head.

Emily kissed my cheek before letting out a lead squeal before running towards the others, making her way to Addison and Zed.

I laughed softly before getting up from the ground. I turned around just as Willa, Wynter and Wyatt made their way towards me.

Willa wore a purple dress and black boots. Wynter wore a brown dress and brown boots.

"Hey, thank you once again for taking her out of the house so we could get everything ready" I smiled.

"Of course, anything for you" Wynter smiled.

"And besides, the werewolves love her, the elders do too. We literally had to pry her away from one of them when it was time to leave" Willa chuckled.

I laughed softly at that and shook my head. Emily seems to have everyone wrapped around her little finger.

Wynter and Willa both gave me a hug before pulling away as they made their way towards the others.

I sighed before turning around to face my boyfriend.

I looked him up and down and couldn't stop the smile from appearing on my face.

He wore a casual suit and his hair was nicely done. Damn. My boyfriend looks amazing.

"Hey, baby" Wyatt smiled.

"Hey, babe" I smiled.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to him.

"You look amazing. That suit looks amazing on you" I smiled.

"Why thank you. But can I say that you look stunning in that red dress" Wyatt smirked, scanning me up and down.

I blushed bright red at that and gently hit his chest, causing him to laugh.

He cupped the sides of my face while I placed my hands under his elbows. We smiled at each other before leaning in as our lips connected.

We pulled away a few seconds later and pressed our foreheads against each other.

I'll never get tired of this because he makes me happy. Absolutely happy.

"Come on, lets go celebrate" I smiled.

Wyatt smiled and nodded. We held hands before walking towards the others, just in time to see Emily hugging the coach as well as Principal Lee.

She really loves hugs just as much as she loves everyone here.

Emily turned around and smiled when she spotted us. She thanked them before running towards us. When she was close she opened her arms.

Wyatt and I laughed before I grabbed her and picked her up, setting her on my left hip.

"So, princess, what do you think?" I asked.

"I love it, mommy. Thank you" Emily giggled.

"Anything for you, princess" I smiled, giving her cheek a kiss.

Emily giggled before wrapping her arms around my neck, hugging me tightly.

I smiled and hugged her back. I turned to Wyatt and gestured for him to join the hug. Wyatt smiled before wrapping his arms around both of us.

I felt him kiss my temple and I looked up, just in time to see him placing a kiss to Emily's cheek, causing her to giggle.

A soft smile appeared on my face at their interaction, it's just too cute.

"Come on you guys, lets get this party started!" Zed yelled.

The three of us laughed and shook our heads before we pulled away from our group hug.

Wyatt and I held hands, as I still had Emily in my arms, before we walked towards the others.

Music began playing, laughter and cheering filled the entire backyard as everyone had the time of their lives.

Emily enjoyed herself and had the greatest time of her life at this party. The entire time she wouldn't stop giggling, smiling and running around. Not to mention eating almost everything.

We were all happy and enjoying ourselves. Nothing could ruin this moment for us.

However, we were unaware of the new beings that were heading our way.
