Bonus Two: The First Kiss

This takes place a month later, when Elena returns to Seabrook permanently

Wynter's Pov

I was currently waiting for Elena at the airport, tapping my feet as I did so.

It's been a month since she left to go see her parents one last time before she would come back here permanently.

I really missed her during the time she was away.

I know it's only been a month since she was gone but it feels like a year or more.

Yes, we texted, we chatted over the phone a few times and we facetimed each other, but it wasn't the same.

At least she's coming back here to stay permanently.

So I don't need to worry about being separated from her again.

I'm currently on the phone with Willa while waiting for Elena, she told me that it would be a little late due to some problems.

"Why are you even at the airport in the first place?" Willa asked for the 5th time.

I let out a sigh and ran my hand through my hair.

"I told you that I'm here to pick up Elena and take her to Principal Lee's house to unpack her stuff" I explained.

"Elena is a big girl, she can go alone. And why didn't Principal Lee go and get her? That's her niece after all" Willa asked in annoyance.

"Principal Lee is busy with paperwork and I asked her if I could pick her up and she agreed" I said.

Principal Lee was more than happy to let me go and pick up Elena.

Apparently she likes seeing us together and she knows that we must have some sort of feelings for each other.

I guess you can say she ships us, which can be a little embarrassing but at least she's supportive about it so that's better than her being negative about it.

That thought alone had me blushing and I quickly shook my head.

"Why do you care so much about her?" Willa asked in annoyance.

"Willa, I don't want to start this crap with you again" I sighed in exasperation.

"Wynter, you know she used to have a crush on Malia and flirted with her almost all the time. Not to mention all the trouble she stirred up between her and Wyatt" Willa explained.

"Trust me, I know all of that. But, Wyatt forgave her and, surprisingly, they're friends. And Elena got over her crush on Malia" I explained.

Although, the thought of Elena crushing on Malia and still wanting to be near her scares me.

Yes, I do have a crush on Elena, that's the truth, but sometimes I have been feeling insecure.

Sometimes I feel that she might still have feelings for Malia but she's trying to deny it so she doesn't hurt my feelings.

The thought of losing Elena to Malia, or any other girl for that matter, brings a bad ache in my stomach.

"I'm just looking out for you, Wynter. I still don't trust her" Willa softly said.

"I know, Willa. And I appreciate you for that, but please understand that Elena is a good person. She's funny and friendly and overall, amazing" I explained.

I understand that Willa means well but I want her to understand that Elena is a good person.

I want her to understand that she would never hurt me, emotionally and physically.

Not to mention I want her to understand that I can protect myself if something were to happen between us.

"Look, I know I can't stop you from hanging out with her, or even make you leave the airport, but please just be careful" Willa sighed.

"I promise I'll be careful" I smiled softly.

"Thank you" Willa softly said.

We talked for a few more minutes before Willa told me that she had to go and hung up.

I laughed softly and shook my head as I stuffed my phone into my pocket.

No doubt she's got a date tonight with A-spen. Again.

I swear to god the way Willa acts around A-spen is something that surprises all of us. Especially when she's so kind, sweet, caring and soft towards them.

I swear to god Willa better ask A-spen to be her lover or I will smack her upside the head.

A gasp escaped my lips when my eyes were suddenly covered.

"Guess who?" a voice I've been wanting to hear for a while spoke in my ear.

Shivers went down my spine before a laugh escaped my lips as I placed my hands on my hips.

"Huh? Let me guess, is it my favorite sexy redhead?" I asked in amusement.

A laugh was heard before the hands were removed from my eyes.

I was turned around and was met face to face with Elena Mae Lee.

"Lena!" I grinned in excitement.

"Hyper wolf!" Elena grinned in excitement.

We both giggled at each other and smiled before bringing each other into a tight hug.

"Oh god, it's so good to see you again" I smiled.

"It's so good to see you too. I really couldn't wait to see you" Elena sighed.

"Good that because I really missed you" I sighed.

"Oh, I missed you too, hyper wolf" Elena giggled.

We pulled away from the hug but Elena kept her hands on my shoulders, almost like she didn't want to let go of me just yet.

We stood there silently before she let out a small sigh as she removed her hands from my shoulders.

"Let me guess, my aunt is busy so she couldn't come" Elena raised an eyebrow at me.

"Yeah, sorry" I frowned slightly.

"Nah, don't worry about it. She's probably busy looking at the reports of the new kids that are going to be attending Seabrook highschool" Elena smiled.

True.

So many new kids have been waiting to get into Seabrook highschool. Humans, zombies, werewolves and now aliens.

Now that everyone is accepted in Seabrook and things have changed for the better.

"But, at least I'm here" I told her.

"I know, that's why I'm in such a good mood" Elena smiled, winking at me.

I blushed at that and playfully shoved her, causing her to laugh softly.

"Well, come on. Lets get you home so you can unpack and get your rest" I told her.

She smiled at that and nodded as she grabbed onto her suitcase.

I was going to grab it for her but she told me that she's a light packer and it's not all heavy, that she only brought the important things with her.

With that we left the airport to head over to Elena's new home now that she's moving here permanently.

At Principal Lee's House

When we arrived at Elena's permanent home we saw a note in the living room from Principal Lee.

Apparently she had tons of paperwork to finish and wouldn't be home till late at night. She wrote in the note if I could stay with Elena until she gets back because she didn't want her to be alone.

I laughed at Elena's annoyed expression at that and shook my head.

I helped Elena get settled in her room and helped her unpack. Luckily she didn't have tons of clothes or other items with her.

We finished unpacking in an hour and we went downstairs to prepare something for us to eat.

Luckily, I know how to cook.

I made us something simple. Hamburgers and fries before we went outside to eat in her backyard.

"I'm still shocked that you like to cook. How did that happened" Elena asked.

"When werewolves were accepted into Seabrook Malia enrolled us into the cooking class her and Addison took. It was hard for some of the wolves, a little easy for others but I was pretty good at it. Especially on my first day and try" I explained.

"Man. I wish I had been there at the time. We could've taken the class together" Elena smiled faintly.

I chuckled softly and set my burger down, wiping my hands with my napkin.

"I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be that great at it" I told her.

"Hey! I'm excellent cook!" Elena defended.

"Really? Because a few days before you left you tried making me some cookies and ended up burning them" I deadpanned.

Elena blushed in embarrassment at the reminder and stuffed some fries into her mouth.

"I tried, alright! But it was so damn hard" she defended.

I burst out laughing at that while she glared at me and rolled her eyes.

"Whatever. But we're going to do cooking classes together when we get the chance, got it?" Elena sternly asked.

"Yes, mam" I mock saluted her.

I laughed while she rolled her eyes at me.

We went back to eating and continued talking about anything. Elena told me everything about her time back at home.

She told me that her parents tried setting her up on a date with a girl from her high school. Her parents are a little too invested in their daughters and really want her to be happy and get herself a girlfriend.

At least they're supportive about it but, come on, why did they set her up on a date...

I was shocked when Elena told me that she went on the date, but she got bored and didn't go on any others with the girl.

While I was relieved she didn't go on anymore with that girl, I couldn't stop myself from being angry and jealous.

I can't believe Elena was even on a date in the first place.

I mean, I shouldn't be mad or jealous, considering Elena and I aren't a couple and she's allowed to go in dates with any girl she wants.

But, maybe I'm just jealous that she was on a date with someone that isn't me.

It was getting late and Elena told me to wait outside while she washed the dishes and would return a few minutes later.

While she was doing that I was standing near the pool, staring down at the water.

I simply stared at myself in the reflection of the water.

The events of today and previous events of Elena and I return and I find myself sighing.

"What the hell does she do to me?" I muttered under my breath.

More importantly, why the hell can't I just suck it up and ask her out?

What the hell am I so afraid of? What's stopping me from asking her?

"Hey, are you alright?" I heard Elena ask me.

I jumped and turned around, only to sigh in relief when I saw Elena standing next to me.

She chuckled in amusement and shook her head as a smile was plastered on her face.

"Did I scare you?" Elena asked.

"No" I huffed out.

"Sure I didn't" she sarcastically smiled while rolling her eyes.

I rolled my eyes at her and looked back down at the pool, staring at my reflection from the water.

Elena didn't say anything and simply copied my actions. She stared down at the pool and stared at her reflection from the water.

I guess our minds think alike, huh?

The silence we were in wasn't awkward, tense or uncomfortable. So that's definitely got to be something.

"You were jealous, weren't you?" Elena asked, breaking the silence.

I snapped out of my thoughts and looked up, making eye contact with her.

"What?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at her.

"I asked if you were jealous" she repeated.

"Jealous of what, exactly?" I asked.

She chuckled and crossed her arms over her chest.

"I know you were jealous when I told you about the date I went on, the ones my parents set me up" Elena said.

I wanted to protest at that, but Elena raised an eyebrow at me and her lips twitched upward.

I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"So what if I was?" I huffed out.

I hope she lets this entire thing go now that she got her answer.

However, that wasn't the case...

I yelped in surprise when she spun me around and wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me closer to her body so that our clothed chests were pressed together.

On instinct my hands made their way to her shoulders, I rested them there and met Elena's eyes and felt my cheeks heating up.

Elena eyed me up and down before her eyes met mine again.

"You want to tell me why you were jealous?" Elena asked, smirking at me.

"W-why d-does it matter?" I asked, stuttering slightly.

"One, it's amusing. Two, it's cute that you're jealous over some random girl I went on one date with" she told me.

Of course she would be amused at my jealousy. She always is.

I remember that time I threw a book at a random girl that was flirting with Elena at the library, smirking victoriously and ignoring the glare the girl shot me before storming off.

This happened a week before Elena had to go back home.

Elena laughed her ass off the entire time and teased me about my jealousy.

It's not my fault that the girl couldn't take no for an answer...

"Maybe I was a tiny bit jealous" I muttered under my breath.

However, I really wasn't as quiet as I thought I was and Elena still heard me.

She laughed and shook her head, not bothering to hide her amusement and delight, as she placed her hands under my elbows.

"Well, I can assure you, hyper wolf, I don't plan on going on any other dates with any other girls" she told me.

My eyes widened at that and I looked at her in disbelief.

Was she trying to reassure me? Because that certainly didn't reassure me at all.

That brought fear inside of me. Thinking that if I were to ask her out on a date she'd say no because of that sentence alone.

And I can't handle the rejection. I just can't.

"Why is that?" I couldn't stop myself from asking.

Elena grinned at me and inched closer, causing my breath to hitch slightly.

"Why would I go on dates with random girls when I'd rather go on multiple dates with the girl standing in front of me?" she cheekily asked.

Oh...

My...

God...

Did she just say what I think she said?

Please tell me I heard all of that correctly and my mind isn't playing tricks on me...

Did she mean that? Or is she just messing with me in order to get a reaction out of me?

Because I will smack her before running off into the woods to head back home. The last thing I want is for her to see what I look like in such in an embarrassing state.

I opened my mouth to say something but my eyes widened in surprise when Elena leaned in and pressed her lips onto mine.

I was frozen in shock. I clearly wasn't expecting that.

Then again, Elena is a confident and bold girl so I probably should've seen that coming.

I snapped out of my shock and slowly began kissing her back. I poured as much emotions as I could into this kiss.

Oh my god...

Elena and I are kissing...

We're really kissing...

Not only that but I'm kissing her back and I'm doing a good job too.

I've never kissed anyone, let alone a girl. Elena is my first kiss and I'm not going to lie when I say I'm extremely happy she's my first.

And, hopefully, my forever and last...

After about a minute of kissing we pulled away in order to catch our breath.

We were panting slightly, our lips were swollen and our cheeks were red.

Our eyes met and we slowly pressed our foreheads together.

"Wow" I breathed out.

"Wow indeed" Elena giggled, nodding her head.

"Just so we're clear, you meant to do that, right?" I hesitantly asked.

The last thing I wanted was for Elena to reveal that the kiss was an accident, that it was in the heat of the moment.

However, relief coursed through my body when she giggled and placed a gentle kiss to my forehead.

"Of course I did. Believe it or not, but I've been wanting to kiss you for a while now" she told me.

Now that wasn't something I was expecting her to say.

"Really?" I asked, my tone full of relief and hope.

"Of course. I'm not gonna deny that I have grown feelings for you, I was just nervous because I didn't know if you felt the same" she explained.

My eyes widened at that and I let out a disbelieving scoff.

"Are you kidding me? Of course I felt the same. But, just like you, I was nervous too. Especially when I thought you still had feelings for Malia" I explained.

Elena gasped at that before she sighed and shook her head.

"I guess I can understand why you kept quiet. But, sweet wolf, I've gotten over Malia a long time ago. Sure, it took a while to get over her but I did it" she explained.

I gasped softly when Elena pecked my lips, smirking faintly.

"Because I started growing feelings for you. And believe me when I say that you're the one I want. You're the one I want to be with. Not Malia and not any other girl" Elena grinned.

"So..." I trailed off,  a little  confused.

Elena chuckled fondly and rolled her eyes fondly before pulling her forehead away from mine.

"Wynter, will you do me the honors of going on a date with me?" Elena asked.

She held my hands and patiently waited for me to respond.

I simply grinned at her and brought her into a hug. Elena let out a quiet yelp but she didn't hesitate to hug me back.

"Yes" I whispered in her ear.

I got asked out by the girl I like. Something I've been wanting ever since I learned my feelings for her.

No way in hell am I going to say no.
