"Neville! Come down here, I've made breakfast and I'm not about to let it go to waste!" A little woman with mousie brown hair and wearing an emerald green night robe, called up the tall, mahogany stairs.

After a few muffled bumps and bangs, a boy with a round face, chocolate brown eyes, and wearing red PJ's covered in broomsticks and small, golden balls, came down the stairs.

"Yes granny, I'm coming," he called as he got to the bottom of the stairs.

"Good, I want you here when your letter arrives," she said happily.

"I completely forgot! Yay, I'm sooo excited!" Shrieked Neville, after all, he was only 11.

"Now, sit down and I'll plate your breakfast up. Your letter should be coming soon, Dumbldore always did have a uncanny ability to know when to send the letters. I got my first 5 minutes after I woke up, for heavens sake!" Granny said excitedly, while reliving the blissful memory of finding out that she was a witch indeed.

She had a slight fear that the boy might be a squib though. The only time that he had shown any magical abilities was when his Uncle threw him off the roof of their hotel (magical hotel of course, not muggle) and he just bounced! Granny plated up Neville's breakfast with 2 Eggs Benedict and tomatoes and cucumbers. Granny set the plate down infront of Neville and he started eating slowly, savoring every bite. Suddenly, a brown, speckled owl landed infront of him. It lifted up its leg and Neville untied a white envelope with a red seal and green writing.

"Your a wizard! I knew it, thank gods. Just like Dumbldore to send the letter so you get it right after you have ate breakfast," Squealed Granny.

Neville just opened the package with shaking hands and a big, goofy grin on his face.

"Well, it looks like we will have to take a trip to Diagon Alley, doesn't it?" She asked, smiling back.

"Yes!" Neville cried out as his grandmother went over to the fire and grab some green, sparkling powder.

"What are you waiting for?" She asked jokingly.

Neville jumped up and ran over to her.

"Nothing!"
