"Ugh, kill me now." I groaned pouring myself a cup of elvin coffee.

"Yeah no." Gethen grabbed the cup out of my hand and replaced it with juice.

"Fuck you." I said but sipped it anyway.

"How was the mission?" Glimmer asked sitting next to me at the table.

"Eh. Got in trouble for being late but I think that's Brant's fault. Then Gisela tried to drag me off a cliff with her and I went fuck no and shoved her away and took a leap instead. Then I landed some where I didn't recognize and just kept wandering. Don't ask me how I got back cause o don't even know." I said dropping my head on to the table. Then proceeded to slam it a couple of times. Glimmer laughed as Kylie came over and sat on my other side putting her hand on the table under my head so I wouldn't hurt myself.

"Sounds rough."

"How do you not know where you leap to?" Glimmer said as she kept laughing.

"Shut up!"

"Hey ladies." I looked up as Ruy sat down in front of me. My cheeks dusted a light pink, not expecting him.

"Hey Ruy."

"Sup loser."

"Hello."

"(Y/N), you training today?" He asked leaning his cheek on his fist as he stared at the girl across from him. I hummed and ran my finger along the edge of my cup.

"Nah. I think I'll just do some cleaning today. Long mission and got back really late so I'm kinda tired. Or I might train with Pixel. I don't know yet." I yawned and blinked a few times.

"Reasonable. Wasn't quite the success we wanted right?"

"Nope and Gisela's identity was also discovered. So yeah quite the loss."

"Wait did you not hear?" Ruy looked surprised.

"Hear what?"

"Gisela's not coming back. Well for now at least. As far as I know."

"Seriously? What happened?"

"Well you made the right call ditching her cause when Brant and someone else went to retrieve her apparently some gnomes came across her and now she's with ogres. We can all guess what's happening from there." Ruy put his arms up and leaned back after explaining.

"Damn. Y'know what I'm also glad I ditched her. Yeah it was a pain finding my way back but I'd hate to have to deal with that."

"That's terrible." Kylie said, horror drawn across her face, hand on her chest. I pat her shoulder.

"Risks are part of the job. Be glad you're in the healing unit." Glimmer spoke.

"It's still terrible. I mean personally I'm impartial with her but I hope she's ok."

"I don't."

"(Y/N)!"

"What? Am I wrong? We're all thinking it!" I say throwing my hands in the air. "Well except Kylie. You're too nice."

"Am not!" Kylie defended.

"Yeah she's just empathetic."

"That's rare these days."

"Yeah honestly it is."

"Can't disagree with that."

"You sure it's not just cause you guys are emotionless jerks." Kylie grumbled, I fake gasped.

"The horror! Kylie? Insulting people? The horror!" I dramatically fell back against Glimmer.

"Get off." She shoved me playfully with a smile on her face. Our fun was interrupted when Gethen slammed a bucket on the table.

"Glimmer. You're on mopping duty today." He said coldly. Glimmer groaned.

"Why? I was planning to train today."

"Train my ass. We all know you're planning on harassing (Y/N) all day while she tries to train or clean. And you haven't done any chores for a week. Now get to work, breakfast is over." Gethen then walked away ignoring Glimmer's protests.

"I think you've been found out." I said leaning over to stage whisper to her. She shoved me away and I laughed.

"I'm literally going to die." Glimmer whined walking away with the bucket. We laughed and I finished my drink.

"Alright, I think I'll chill with Pixel today. Sorry Ruy." I said also walking away.

"It's fine. But meet me at the training room tonight. I wanted to show you something." I gave him a thumbs up behind my back.

I yawned again as I handed Pixel the tool he asked for. He sat back and pushed up his goggles.

"You ok? You've been off all day."

"Yeah just tired." I said and yawned again.

"Long mission?"

"Yeah."

"I don't recommend going out with Ruy tonight then." He said flipping his goggles back down and turned back to his work. My face turned red.

"W-what?!"

"He asked you out tonight right?"

"Yeah, but he just wanted to show me something."

"It always starts like that." Pixel laughed. "You'll think it's only a few minutes then suddenly you're making out under the sunrise and you're panicking to get back." Pixel waved his hand at me. I felt my face heat up even more.

"T-that's not... I-I'm not... we're not..." I stuttered and handed him his next tool when he put his hand out.

"Yeah yeah be delusional." Pixel said.

"I hate you."

"You love me."

I laid in bed, face down, trying to suffocate myself.

"You good?" Glimmer asked looking over from her bed across the room. I proceeded to scream into my pillow and continue to suffocate myself. "I'll take that as a no." I heard her close the book she was reading and get up. She grabbed me by my shoulders and pulled me up. "Alright, now that you can breathe again, what's up?"

"I think I'm going to kill myself."

"Haha. Funny. Seriously what's going on?"

"Well Ruy said he wanted to show me something tonight. And Pixel may have suggested that he meant it as a...date." I said looking away from her.

"Wait seriously? Finally."

"Glimmer!"

"What? Am I wrong? You guys have been crushing on each other since forever."

"N-no we haven't!"

"Wow you're still in denial." She stared at me blankly. "Stop over thinking it and just go."

"But—"

"Go!" She said interrupting me. "Wait actually don't. Not yet. You look like a mess." She then pulled me up off my bed and sat me in her desk chair. "I grabbed some stuff from a store the other day, you'll thank me later." She said. 

"What–" 

"Shush let me work my magic." 

"Thought magic was a human. A term used to 'describe things they don't understand'." I said sarcastically while waving my hands. 

"Will you shut up." Glimmer laughed.

I was waiting outside the training room like Ruy had asked. Just like Glimmer had said, I was thankful for what she did. My hair was now curled, falling over my shoulders and back in waves. She put some mascara and eyeliners on me too, the elvin kind. I can't be bothered to remember their terms for them. She also gave me some blush and tinted lip gloss. No eye shadow, don't want to make it obvious or over do it. I wore the neverseen cloak, hood down, with the normal uniform underneath. Although it wasn't really considered normal anymore since a while back me and Glimmer had the late night urge to spruce them up. Now the top had the sleeves ripped off and altered to be gloves, though I wasn't wearing the gloves part today, the neverseen symbol arm tie was wrapped around my bare arm and the shirt was tucked into my skorts that stopped at my mid thigh. Then I had the normal boots and socks that were covered by the boots. 

"Hey." Ruy said walking up to me. 

"Hey." I said fidgeting with my cloak slightly. Ruy just stood staring at me for a second, lips slightly curled in a smile. 

"Pretty." He said under his breath, though I don't think he meant to say that out loud. My cheeks heated up slightly. 

"Ahem, you uh wanted to show me something?" I said and he blinked surprised. He coughed into his hand. 

"Right yeah. This way."
