Sirius could not believe his eyes. He had dropped his fork to the ground and raised himself from his seat. Much like a fish, his mouth opened and closed with no words forming as he made his way towards his daughter whom stood in the doorway, her eyes not leaving his.

"What are you doing here?" Sirius Questioned, pulling her into his arms and cradling her like she was a newborn again.

Hattie rested her head on his shoulder, "I didn't know where else to go." She said quietly relishing the familiar scent from his jumper- well, Remus' jumper that he had clearly stolen.

Remus came forward just as she said this, he hovered behind the father and daughter with a face full of confusion as many questions raced around his head. "What do you mean 'you didn't know where else to go'. Hattie? What's happened?"

Sirius didn't let go of his daughter as she looked up at Remus, her eyes softening upon seeing the man. "They wanted to move me again. They found out. I didn't want to move again. I just wanted to come home."

"Found out what, sweetheart?"

"Seamus found me, dad, he came to visit in the night. I don't know how they found out. I really don't." She shook her head, wincing in pain.

Sirius hugged Hattie tighter, closing his eyes because he was scared that f he opened them that she would disappear.

"Er, might just be me here but don't you think that we should perhaps address why there is blood every- flipping-where!" Exclaimed Harry pointing at his godsister.

Only now everyone took into account of the girls' appearance and instantly Lily shot up and collected the first aid kit. "Please tell me you didn't do that." She said to Hattie as Sirius lifted her to sit on the counter top.

"I haven't. I tripped and fell, I promise." She replied and Remus began to dab some antiseptic liquid on her cut head and cheeks. "And I haven't touched my bandages since Mrs Bumble changed them last night before bed."

"Bumble? Are they muggle?" Asked James quizzically, "I haven't heard of any witch or wizard with that name."

"They are, Uncle Prongs, but nonetheless they were so kind and caring. They didn't question why I did it they just wanted to help. I wish I didn't have to leave my thanks in a scribbled note but I couldn't just sit there and wait for Mrs Barton to move me again. No doubt it would have been further from here and I panicked. I just ran."

Peter sighed rubbing his dribbling face. "Oh, Hattie. This si the first place that they'll look for you. You realise this, right?"

"Oh."

Ginny, who Hattie had only just noticed was sat with Harry smiled. "You can stay with Charlie. They're muggles they won't be able to track Charlie down and he loves you so of course he'll take you in. He writes to mum so much hoping that there is the slightest bit of news about you so he'll be over the moon to have you with him!"

"Ginny I don't think-"

"I'm not a child, dad, I can look after myself and right now if it means hiding in Romania I'll do it. That way we can still contact each other so long as they don't take me away again I'll do anything. I can't live without everyone anymore! Please, dad, if this is the last thing you ever do, please, let me go to Charlie."

"What about Seamus?"

"I'm sure he'd prefer to travel to Romania then never see me again." She retorted to Lily whom looked at the young girl who stood before her. She had grown so much in the past few months and had come so far from the nigh-on dead child that was given back to the family at the end of the war. This Hattie was bold, standing tall and absolutely beautiful, looking healthier than ever.

"Pads, I'd rather know she was in Romania with Charlie than not know where she is at all." Remus told his partner, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Wouldn't you?"

"Of course but Romania is so far away! It's like losing Hattie all over again." Sirius looked down as tears built up in the corners of his eyes.

Hattie stepped forward and took his hands in hers. "Dad, you could never lose me again. I'm here forever just in a different country. Please, this is for the best." She smiled softly, kissing his cheek. "I love you, you know that right?"

"I love you too, Harriet, you're my little girl. I couldn't never not love you, darling. If this means I'll have you forever then so be it. Can you at least stay the night?"

"I can stay until you want me to go."

"Then don't go."

"I have to, dad, how about I stay for a couple of days and you can just hide me if they come knocking. Then, I'll go to Romania. You can even take me. You and Remmy."

Sirius nodded his head and took her back into his arms. "You're in with me tonight, adult or not, you're still my baby and I will keep you in my arms like one."

"But what about Remmy?"

"I'm sure there'll be enough room, sweetheart," smiled Peter, "now you must be starving. I'll make you some dinner as you've just missed ours as we're onto dessert. What would you like?"

"Anything, Uncle Wormy, I'm starving!"
