President Alaneera Cosin is MACUSA's second elected female president, following in the footsteps of President Georgeson Howards. She is of age 36 and was born in New Jersey, to two wizard parents. She is of pure-blooded status, and holds a wand of elderberry and unicorn hair core, 13 1/2 inches, relatively pliant. Alaneera is an alumni of the wizarding school Magicvs, an American branch of the originally Roman school of magic, Magicvs.

Alaneera, being the President of one of the most prominent superpowers in the magical world, has, in her current career of two years as President, travelled to thirty different countries to investigate international affairs. Before becoming president, Alaneera was a Head Auror for MACUSA, in charge of control of magical creatures and obliviation of no-majs, as well as the confiscation of dangerous items, such as illegally brewed potions, and the continued protection of the wizarding world in America.
