Back To Worn Out Life

Haider was sitting in the airport; it was night in Dubai. Tehreem was falling asleep, both had fun in the morning and Tehreem made the most of it, now she was burned down and tired. Haider was reading a book in the airport.

He finished a chapter and kept his book aside; He saw Tehreem sleeping in his shoulder. She looked to peaceful while sleeping and she was getting comfortable in his shoulder. He turned his head towards her, her scent was engulfing his lungs.

She was looking so relaxed; He did not feel to get up and get some coffee. He smiled seeing her sleep, He took his book and started reading. He did not realize but his head gradually was on top hers, He did it subconsciously.

Haider finished a few chapters, he thought to keep it aside and that is when he realized that his head was on top of hers. He decided to get some coffee, he tried to move her off his shoulder and keep his bag over there to give her support.

"Sorry" said Tehreem in a sleepy voice, she had woken up when he tried to move her head.

"I'm sorry for waking you up," said Haider

Tehreem took Haider's bag and kept it on the other side and kept her head on it. Haider went and brought himself a coffee. He walked back to see Tehreem sleep on the bag uncomfortably, He felt bad seeing that.

He sat in the seat next to her and slowly placed her head in his shoulder, she slowly moved being comfortable sleeping in his shoulder. He was drinking his coffee and felt a hand over his hands.

Tehreem was hugging Haider's arms while sleeping on his shoulder, he smiled seeing this. He decided to look in his phone. He got an incoming call from Sarah, and he accepted the call, it was a video call

"Aww This is so cute, let no evil eyes be upon you both" said Sarah and That's when he realized that it was a video call so Sarah could see Tehreem sleeping on his shoulder

"Sarah" whined Haider and Sarah laughed

"Why aren't you sleeping yet, What's the time over there" asked Haider

"It's 12:00 and I'm going to sleep in a bit, By the way if you haven't bought anything special for me, Go and buy now or else you'll not be let in the house" said Sarah threatening him

"Then, let me see what I can buy over here" said Haider and Sarah gave him an angry stare

"Don't worry, you go and get some sleep now" said Haider and Sarah nodded

"Good night," said Sarah

"Good night," said Haider

Haider read his book for a little more while, he too was getting sleepy at that point. He heard the announcement for his flight, it was time for boarding his flight. He kept his stuff in his bag slowly, He tapped on Tehreem's shoulder, and she groaned ta him.

"Tehreem wake up, it's time for boarding" said Haider, Tehreem groaned and woke up. Tehreem saw the coffee cup in his hand and her eyes lit up

"Thank you" said Tehreem and took the coffee

"I-" said Haider but by that time Tehreem had started drinking his coffee, he decided to not tell her. She felt a bit better after a cup of coffee

"I'll be back in a minute, really fast" said Tehreem and went to the washroom

She came back, both boarded the flight, this time Tehreem let Haider sit in the window seat. Haider was very sleepy, and Tehreem was energetic after nap and coffee. Tehreem decided to watch a web series during the ride.

Tehreem felt Haider's head on her shoulder, she smiled and let him be like that. She continued watching the show. She felt movement on her shoulder, she looked at Haider. It seemed like Haider was seeing a nightmare

"Haider" called Tehreem trying to wake up Haider

Haider woke up with cold sweat in his forehead, He was shaken by the nightmare. He was greeted by Tehreem's concerned eyes looking at his. He felt Tehreem holding his hands tight trying to comfort him.

"What happened Haider" asked Tehreem

"Just a bad dream" said Haider and she hummed

"Get some sleep," said Tehreem

Haider laid back on the seat uncomfortable, he slowly placed his head on her shoulder. he was conscious but he was too comfortable to object. He felt Tehreem tapping his hands in a comforting peaceful way and he slowly slipped into the darkness.

Tehreem completed a few episodes and Haider was sleeping on her shoulders. The pilot announced that they will be landing in a bit. Tehreem tried her best to put on his seat belts without disturbing his sleep.

Haider got disturbed and he opened his eyes, He found Tehreem leaning towards him and putting his seatbelt, He felt a smile form on his face seeing this. He was slowly so he fell asleep again.

"Haider wake up" said Tehreem, the flight had landed, and people were starting to stand up and leave.

Tehreem put her bag and Haider's too, she held his hand tight. She stood up and started walking, Haider followed her. She knew that Haider did not have much conscious and he was in autopilot.

Tehreem held him tight while coming out, He followed her like a lost puppy. He did not have much consciousness and was still sleepy. Tehreem bought a coffee and gave him.

That was helpful in getting him some consciousness. Both sat in a table and drank it. he was slowly getting his consciousness back.

"I'll be back" said Haider and Tehreem looked at him with concern

"I'm awake" said Haider and Tehreem nodded. Haider went to the washroom and washed his face. HE came back to a waiting Tehreem

"Let's go" said Haider and Tehreem nodded

"Thanks for taking care of me all this while, I'm pretty sure that I was in auto-pilot mode, my memory is foggy, and I remember in and out of senses" said Haider and Tehreem smiled

"It's completely fine, point one that's what friend do and point two, you did the same for me plenty of times, just hours ago you did the same thing so-" said Tehreem and was cut off by Haider

"When I did that once, it ended up in me screaming at you" said Haider and Tehreem rolled her eyes

"I missed that very much" said Haider and Tehreem smiled

Both collected their Luggage, this time both contributed unlike the last time. Both walked outside and their driver was waiting outside to pick them up.

"At last, we are back," said Haider

"Back to the worn-out life" said Tehreem in a dramatic way and both laughed

"Have you become bored of me this fast" asked Haider and Tehreem made a thinking face, Haider looked at her with a questioning look

"Not yet" said Tehreem with a wink and both laughed

Both got inside the car after keeping their luggage, both opened the windows and looked outside, giving them back their reality. They reached Haider's house after a while, they both got out of the car and stood next to each other

"Now we are back to the Worn-out life" whispered Haider in Tehreem ear and Tehreem looked him...........

So how y'all doing , hope you are doing well. So I've got an even tmrw so i pray for this soul. After this exam , 1 more left and I'll bring lots of update with it

I'm pretty consistent rn , i actually have drafts left which I'm publishing rn with a bit of tweaking . After exam I'll even have time to publish endlessly.

I'll finish this book by May and I'll publish a new book too!!!!
