Him Being Awestruck

Hina walked into the Mehta house and her heels were clicking loud, her steps radiated power. Sarah walked next to her and Nusrat welcomed them in. Hina and Sarah sat in the sofa and Nusrat served them some drinks.

"Tehreem will be coming down in a minute" said Nusrat and Hina nodded with a smile, Sarah was excited.

Tehreem pulled up her hair to a ponytail and tied it. She wore her jacket to complete the look, she put on some of her perfume, and She slowly descended the stairs and walked towards Hina and Sarah.

"Let's go" asked Hina and Tehreem nodded

Three of them walked to the car, Tehreem and Hina sat in the back while Sarah sat in the front. Hina had a smile on her face, she was excited for her son's marriage, and they were going for the shopping.

"Tehreem, thank you" said Sarah and Tehreem understood what she said, she had said Yes to the Khurrana's for preponing the wedding, she had vowed to make Haider's life hell with all her power. She was not in good terms with Areeka but still she did not want to Haider to ruin everything.

"I'll drop you both and leave, Haider will come in a bit then he'll take you both home, keep me updated on the selections and I'm really looking forward to see your taste in clothes" said Hina with a smile and Tehreem decided to return the smile

"My sister too would be joining us; Mom had told her to come" said Tehreem and Hina nodded

Hina tried creating Conversation with her to-be daughter-in-law, she was somewhat successful. Tehreem would reply to Hina and maintain the respectful, Hina saw that as a distance, but she knew that it would take time.

"Have fun" said Hina when the car halted. Sarah and Tehreem got out of the car. Tehreem and Sarah got inside the shop, and both was mesmerized by the different dresses around them

"Khurrana's" says Sarah and they follow the lady.

"Hello to-Be Mrs. Khurrana" said Sarah trying to tease Tehreem and she gives and awkward smile

Tehreem was going through dresses and Haider walks in, she looks at him and then averts her eyes the next second. Haider takes a seat in the sofa and scrolled in his phone while occasionally looking what Tehreem was doing.

"Sarah, this is my sister Areeka and Areeka this Sarah, Haider's sister" said Tehreem and the coldness between the sisters were evident to Haider but not to Sarah. Seeing this, Haider's mind went to his dreams, when he was with Areeka, He dreamt of introducing her to his family.

He could not help himself but think about it, Sarah smiled at Areeka, and Haider wondered how nice it would have been if things were different, but he was hell bent on continuing what he was doing. Three of them went back on looking for the dress.

Haider could see the cold shoulder between the sisters. He remembered, how close and nice they were to each other, They had really nice bond but now it was no more, just hate. He felt guilty but He remembered Tehreem's words, He had just put a spark on the fuel. He sighed and went back to his phone.

"Brother, look here" said Sarah and Haider looked up.

He saw Tehreem walk in, she was wearing a Green and pink lehenga. He was awestruck on how good she looked in it, He got out of the trance to see Areeka burning in jealousy. He decided to burn her more.

"Tehreem, you look beautiful, buy this or I'll buy this and gift you" said Haider and Sarah chuckled. Haider walked towards Tehreem with an awe look on his face. Sarah was in complete awe seeing her brother like this, Tehreem was confused and Areeka was burning in jealous.

Areeka broke up with him and she was married to somebody else, but she still was jealous of Tehreem. Tehreem Confusingly stared at Haider while he looked at her lovingly, He held her hand and she looked in his eyes. Sarah was screaming inside in excitement and awe, Areeka was burning.

"Won't you buy this" asked Haider and Tehreem nodded. He took her hand and kissed it. She felt chills and he felt like electricity went through his body.

"Brother, you're lucky that mom isn't here, if she was then you'd be in your grave" said Sarah and Haider chuckled. Tehreem noticed Areeka staring at her in jealousy.

The performance continued, Tehreem too took part after realizing what Haider was trying to do but did not know that he was awestruck and was not completely acting. Tehreem chose her wedding dress and That was her to-be mother-in-law and her choice. Tehreem chose her last dress and walked out.

Sarah went into complete awe after seeing Haider walking up to Tehreem with puppy eyes, Sarah noticed what he was holding while Tehreem was looking at his eyes. He held Tehreem's hand and kept a dress in her hand. She looked at the dress and then at him with confusion.

"Would you try this for me" asked Haider and Tehreem nodded agreeing.

Tehreem walked out of the changing room in a beautiful red gown with a flowy skirt and lace designs. Haider walked up to her in awe. He stood awfully close to Tehreem and Sarah fake coughed signalling to back off.

Areeka remembered describing the same dress to Haider saying that she would wear this for him, and they both could dance endlessly, she had dreamed of that moment which was now being lived by her sister, she could see her sister blushing and she was being jealous of her.

They brought the stuff and walked out of the shop. The driver was a bit late who was coming to pick up Areeka and she asked them to go. Sarah went fast and sat in the back and closed the door startling Tehreem.

Haider came and opened the front door for her, and He sat in the driver's seat. Areeka was burning seeing this, she was having trouble coming in terms with everything. They drove away and dropped Tehreem at her home. Tehreem was starting to walk away.

"Bye Tehreem" said Haider and she turned around, He looked at her familiar eyes.........
