As her routine Samriddhi came to her office Monday morning when someone informed her at the entrance that a client was waiting for her.
"Hey, Samriddhi, wow, you have a big client waiting for you inside."

"What?" She is confused.

"The manager is waiting for you in his cabin." Her colleague informed her.

She knocked on the door.
"Come in"

"Good morning, sir."

"Ah, Ms. Samriddhi. Morning, morning, please have a seat. No, in fact, we have a whole day to talk. You should go and attend to your client. Oh child, you did a great job; I'm proud of you."

The manager is in his late forties and always annoyed, but today he is really happy. Samriddhi is wondering what is going on. What the heck happened to the manager today? Because he is always ready to find mistakes in her work and always screaming, but today he is happy.

She was heading towards her desk when she saw the person sitting in front of her desk.

"Oh boy..." she whispered to herself.

He is none other than Henry.
He is looking in her direction with a big smile on his face. The most charming smile, but it seems the most irritating smile in this world to Samriddhi right now.

"Good morning, Ms. Samriddhi," Henry greeted her.

"Morning good rahi hi kithe hai hun (there is nothing good about this morning)."

"Excuse me?" Henry doesn't understand her words, but he knows that it's not something good.

"Nothing. What are you doing here?". She asked in a hushed voice.

"I told you I wanted to see you again. REMEMBER." He emphasizes the word remember knowingly.

She didn't want to create a scene, so she asked professionally while sitting in her seat. "How may I help you, Mr. Brown?"

Before he could reply, her manager jumped out of nowhere and said, "Well, don't waste Mr. Brown's time; it's precious. You tell him whatever he asks or wants to know. Quickly. "
Then he turned to Henry and continued, "I apologize, Mr. Brown; she is a newbie here. If you don't mind, let someone more experienced and worthy help you."

She looked at the manager with frowning eyes and a 'are you kidding me?' expression on her face.

Yes, of course, she doesn't want to talk to Henry, but at the same time, she didn't like her manager's remark. She is good at her work, and she didn't like it when he said she was not worthy.

She thought in her mind, 'What the hell is his problem with me?'

All this time, Henry is watching her expressions and replies to the manager coldly, "No. I'll be doing this only if Ms. Samriddhi is going to attend to me; otherwise, if you want someone else in her place to handle my accounts, then I'm sorry, but I think I would leave now. Because she is the one who elaborates to me all the benefits of schemes that my employees will get if I switch their accounts here; if she is not handling them, then I'm out.
I only trust her."

His last words got her attention. But she didn't show it on her face.

One threatening tone is enough, and the manager leaves. "Of course I trust Ms. Samriddhi. She can handle it pretty well.
Ummmm... Ms. Samriddhi, then I'll leave you with your client.".
Before he left, he turned to Samriddhi's side and whispered in a threatening tone, "Don't screw this up."

"I think your boss is not very fond of you."

"I'm not here to impress him. I'm here to do my job and help my customers, so will you please enlighten me when I "elaborate on the benefits of schemes?" Because, as far as I recall, I didn't." She asked with a raised eyebrow, which looks very sexy and cute at the same time to Henry. He knows she is pissed right now, and he really enjoys it.

"Yeah, you didn't. But remember what I said? Okay, if you don't want to see me, then I will convert it into a formal meeting." He said this while showing his perfect pair of teeth. "So if you don't mind, let's discuss it.".

All the time, she is discussing the facts and schemes the bank is offering, all the benefits the employees can have on their insurance, long-term investments, and many more things. Henry is looking at her face. He is amazed by her.

She doesn't like how he is looking at her. Well,  there is nothing bad or pathetic in his eyes, but still, she is not liking it; she is not used to this kind of affection.

"Why are you wasting my time?" She couldn't resist anymore, so she asked.

"What ???? No. I listened to every detail and benefit my employees will get; your bank is offering much better than their current one, and I'm switching their accounts here." He continued.
"You see, I never mix business with pleasure. Don't ever think I'm wasting your time. Remember what your boss just said: My time is far more precious than yours." He replied with a grin.

She is far more than annoyed; all she wants is for him to go away from her sight. But at the same time, she knew that this deal would be very beneficial for her as well. So she didn't lose her sanity.

"How much time will it take to arrange all the paperwork?" he asked.

"Normally two days, but could you please give a figure of the number of employees?" she replied as calmly as she could.

"Of course." He dialed his phone and said only one word: "Smith."

"Don't you guys offer beverages to your clients, especially the one who got you so many customers?" He asked with a mocking smile.

In a pissed mood, she picked up the phone and ordered a black coffee for him.

Henry doesn't say anything, but he likes it how she remembers it, even though they just had coffee for one time.

Within no time, Smith came with all the information regarding the employees of his company and handed it over to Samriddhi.
"Should I get the car, boss?" Smith asked.

"No. I'm having a cup of coffee with Ms. Samriddhi, "he said while looking at her.

Then the coffee arrived, and Smith was ready to leave, so Samriddhi offered him coffee too. Which he denied politely because he loves his life and, by agreeing to her, he doesn't want to annoy his boss. Even he is wondering about this girl making his boss do weird things, which he never does.

While Henry is enjoying his coffee, Samriddhi is going through all the files that Smith has given her, and the number of employees is more than she expected or even imagined.
A little she is worried, but at the same time, she is happy too because she lacks behind her targets just because she is new here and couldn't manage to get more customers, but this is the solution to her problems and the taunts of her manager.

Henry didn't disturb her; he finished his coffee and said, "Well, see you the day after tomorrow."

"Huh?"

"All my employees can't be here for paperwork; you have to come to my office for that, of course. So we'll have our next coffee there.
See you later, Ms. Samriddhi." He left

She hit her forehead with her hand. She is so pissed right now, and, cherry on top, her manager came to annoy her even more.

"Tell me what he said.
Did he agree? Did...... " She knows he is not going to stop, so she cuts him.

"Yes, sir, he agreed.
All his employees' accounts, their insurance, investments, and even his company's current accounts. Everything he is switching here."

The manager lost his mind after listening to her; he asked excitedly, "Are you serious?"

"Yes sir"

"Good. Oh god.
Keep doing your work. Well, don't take much time within 4-5 days. Everything should be done."

"No, sir; actually, it's the day after tomorrow."

"WHAT ????????
Are you kidding me?
You are insane." He literally screamed this time. "How could you, girl? What do you even think of yourself?."

"Sir, it's not my fault; he asked how much time it takes, and I replied with the genuine time it takes because I have no idea that number is going to be that huge." She tries to clarify only if her shity manager is ready to listen to her.

Her workload has increased, and she is cursing Henry for all of this because she has only two days to complete her work and put a bridle in her manager's mouth.

She reached home almost after 11 p.m. on all these two days and left early. When Hannah asked her on the phone, she didn't see her home, so she blamed her, "It's all your fault; everything is happening because of you," and cut the call in annoyance.

She didn't even talk to her mother for two days; she never even had a proper meal.

But everything pays off when she does all her work within the given time.

Now it's time to meet the devil himself.
