DESCRIPTION

ERIS CASSINI IS IN THE ONE PERCENT OF CAPPELLAN PEOPLE left on the planet after their war with the nearby planet of Saros. Once, her family held a position of honour in the Royal Court of Cappella, her father the King's personal bodyguard in his elite police force. They were happy, they were thriving. But Saros was starving for a fight they knew they could win and so targeted Cappella, devastating the planet.

HONESTLY, ERIS IS JUST HAPPY THAT SHE SURVIVED. She knows that she is not the same girl that she once was, that she was once going to be, but after witnessing the carnage left behind in the castle as she made her way out once the fighting was over, she knew that there was no chance she ever could have remained the same.

NOW SHE HAS THE COMPANY OF THE CASTLE'S FORMER BLACKSMITH, Rigel Chara, to keep her from going insane. In the absence of her parents, Rigel becomes like a father to the young girl and they help each other through the pain of losing everyone they once knew.

WHEN A MAN CALLING HIMSELF STAR-LORD comes to Cappella in search of something, Eris agrees to help him on the condition that he take her with him when he leaves the planet. He takes her deal and they set out across the ruins of a once thriving planet.

› so, as requested, when Eris was just a girl, the people of Saros came to Cappella and pretty much wiped them entirely out. They killed the royal family and anyone else who stood in their way, including the royal guard, of which Eris' father was a member of

› she managed to hide in a closet, and she was found by someone, but the person saw this terrified child and couldn't kill her so just locked her in the closet again

› after it was quiet for a while and she felt it safe, she got out of the closet through the vents and sees all the carnage left behind. So she sees all of the bodies and the wreckage, the blood and just... all of it

› she even sees the bodies of the royal family

› eventually, she comes across the castle's blacksmith, Rigel Chara, who is gravely injured and bleeding out from a leg wound. Eris helps patch him up and gets him a cane

› together, they venture into the castle again to truly survey the damage. Rigel probably would have preferred to do this alone so Eris wasn't traumatized but given that he needs the help still and also that she's already been through the castle, he can't really make her stay behind

› in the castle, they find Eris' mother and father dead and Eris takes her father's helmet

› it is a special helmet that the guard all wore, and their rank was indicated by the symbol on it. They are basically the Nova Corp. helmets in shape and design from the comics. This will be Eris' kind of iconic thing, her helmet

› they go back outside and make themselves a little camp, gathering what supplies are left and holding funerals for all the dead that they find, giving them all markers so that if they aren't the only two that survived and any family comes through, they can find the graves of their loved ones

› over time, the few survivors do manage to come to their camp and it grows. After it's been thoroughly cleaned up and their numbers keep rising, they do take up residence in the castle again with Rigel becoming the kind of leader and Eris as his assistant or advisor or whatever

› more years go by and this is when a pre-GotG Peter Quill arrives on a mission from Yondu to find something on the planet that will give them a clue that will help lead them to the power stone on Morag. Or something else, that's up to you, but that's the best idea that I could come up with after literally forever of trying to think of something else

› since he doesn't know the planet and it is dangerous now more than ever before, he needs a guide. Eris volunteers on the one condition that she gets to leave with him after they find what he's looking for. She is sick of staying grounded and wants to see the galaxy. Peter agrees and they set off

› it'll take them a while to get to and find what he's looking for and over this time they should bond, becoming at least friends by the end of it

› they retrieve the thing, Eris says her goodbyes and they set off into space

› Eris kind of joins the Ravagers and starts a life of crime, not that she wasn't already a bit familiar with such things given the state of her planet. Not exactly the nicest place anymore. Time goes on, Eris and Peter get even closer

› now comes Morag. Peter and Eris go together to Morag and collect the power stone, ditching Yondu afterwards and going to Xandar

› they get arrested and sent to the Kiln, team up with Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Groot to escape. Basically the movie follows pretty much as is. When she sees Peter go after Gamora, she'll go after him too as her helmet allows her to breathe in open space as well because the gaps have like a thing that'll open up that's like Captain Marvel's helmet. If that makes any sense at all.

› again, movie follows as normal all the way up to the end. After this, I can see Peter and Eris getting together if they developed feelings up to this point, or they can still develop feelings over the course of this movie and not get together till the end of GotG2

› you can do an AU part here where they do some more missions, maybe go back to Cappella to visit Rigel, move feelings or couple-y stuff. Or you can just go right to GotG2

› in GotG2, it will also stick pretty close to the movie with Eris going with Ego as well and then depending on your choice in the last part, Peter and Eris get together here

› now given that there is an approx. four year gap between GotG2 and IW, you can choose to do an AU part and have some fun or not so fun things happen to the gang, or you can just skip to IW

› for the whole Peter shooting Gamora thing you can keep that or you can switch it up to Eris as they would also be pretty close and that could be more emotional for you to write. Up to you. Regardless, Eris will be very heartbroken by Gamora being taken by Thanos and then dying.

› she will be a part of the fight on Titan and kind of side with Peter when he loses it on Thanos after asking about Gamora.  The Titan Team will still lose and Thanos will go to Earth.

› Eris is a Snap Victim and will come back on Titan in time for the final battle where she and Peter will have an awkward reunion with a Gamora that doesn't know who they are

› after they win and attend Tony's funeral before getting back on Peter's ship with new teammate Thor, they will look for Gamora.

› given that GotG3 isn't out yet as I wrote this and we don't know what happens to the Guardians till it does, everything else is up to you!
