chapter two,  gold eyes

The wolves were all currently killing newborns when they heard their alpha let out a painful howl. They all quickly turned but were shocked to see no one was surrounding him. Sam was alone.

Sam! What's wrong? No one's around you. Paul asks in confusion.

Paul turned to see a brunette newborn fighting one of the Cullen's and figured she was the one causing the pain.

They had taken care of all the newborns, it seems like this one was the last one standing.

I want to be the one to kill her, Paul thinks causing the group to look at him.

Daisy stopped fighting for a second and looked around her. Immediately noticing she was surrounded.

Her gaze locked on Paul's wolf since he was the closest and their eyes met.

Stop! What are you doing? Are you serious Paul? You're doing this right now!? Leah thought angrily growling at him. Paul! Snap out of it, gross!

I can't believe you just imprinted on a vampire! A red blood-sucking vampire! Jared snaps making the other agree. There goes your plan to kill her.

Paul ignored them, his gaze staying on the vampire. However, he snaps out of it when she begins to talk to Carlisle. At that moment he finally realizes what he just did.

What did I do? Did I imprint on a bloodsucker? Paul thought causing the others to yell at him.

"Did Victoria create you?" Carlisle Cullen asked as they waited for Edward and Bella to come down with Seth.

"She did, around week three ago. we spend one week traveling to meet some of her gifted friends." Daisy says calmly as Bree still looks scared next to her.

"Were you the only one who got a gift?" Esme asked the girl softly.

Daisy's eyes widen, "I wasn't. There was someone with invisibility around here and I killed someone with intangibility back in Seattle."

The wolves knew that vampires had gifts but they'd never heard of one having more than one.

Nothing else was said because Daisy spotted Edward and Bella walk down. This was the human Victoria hated so much.

Daisy felt Bree squeeze her hand hand smelling Bella, turns out Riley had passed around her scent when she was gone.

"Ignore it. I'll find you someone later," Daisy says softly to Bree making everyone give her a quick look. The wolves give them an ugly disgusted look.

Both newborns had red eyes, and Daisy assumed they all did. But was a little shocked when she noticed the Cullen's don't.

"How long?" Edward asks as he and Bella walk to the group. However, Edward immediately notices the two newborns. Reading Brees's mind, he could see she wanted Bella's blood but her friend kept her in check. Although Edward found it odd, it couldn't read the other's mind.

"A few minutes, maybe ten?" Alice tells him making everyone turn to look at the wolves.

Carlisle shakes his head, "The pack needs to leave, the Volturi won't honor a truce with werewolves."

Leah quickly notices another newborn that stays hidden and goes to attack but the newborn is strong.

"Leah don't!" Edward yells but it is too late, the newborn has his arms around her neck.

She tried to fight him off but couldn't, so Jacob quickly interfered. Only causing the newborn to get angrier.

They fought and the newborn managed to get a tight grip on Jacob and squeeze.

They all heard a loud broken snap and Jacob let out a loud powerful howl. Daisy and Bree shared a look, knowing the newborn really hurt someone.

Once the newborn let go of Jacob, the others attacked the newborn taking it apart. But the damage was already done. Jacob had broken a bond and was on the floor in pain.

"Jacob!" Bella yells and runs over to him. Carlisle and Edward followed and got there before here.

"Jacob, hold on. Carlisle's going to take care of you."

"Bones on the right side of his body are shattered." Touching Jacob's side.

"Bella?"

"Jake I'm right here," Bella says touching his face softly.

Daisy walked forward a bit, "I can heal him. I inherited someone's ability to heal. It will just take a couple of minutes."

Edward looked at her then at Bella.

"Yes, please! Will it hurt him?" Bella asks in fear making Daisy shake her head. "No, it'll be like falling asleep."

"There's no time now, The Volturi are coming," Carlisle says as Jacob screams in pain.

The boys and Leah all rush out now wearing clothes and no longer wolves.

"Jacob! You idiot I had it!" Leah yells feeling guilty and angry.

"Leah!" Sam yells giving her a look.

"I need to set the bones before his accelerated healing kicks in," Carlisle says grabbing his arm and twisting it into place. "It's already starting."

Paul looks at Daisy in worry and sees her looking guilty. Before completely ignoring her and focusing on Jacob.

All the boys looked angry but mainly at themselves for not noticing the newborn until it was too late.  Quill and Embry both looked at their friend in worry.

"We need to get out of here. We're not gonna win a fight with the Volturi." He stops and looks at Daisy.

Edward read Victoria's mind early. And she seems quickly smug about the battle because of Daisy.

"How long can it take you to heal him? How does it work?" Carlisle asked Daisy making her feel nervous around everyone's stare. Especially the boys.

"A couple of minutes. I just have to touch his side and he won't be in pain and it'll completely heal."

Sam looks at her, meeting her eyes. It wasn't like he had much of a choice. This vampire could heal him in minutes which was faster and less painful than Jacob could alone.

"Would you help him?" Sam asks not taking his eyes off her.

Daisy gives a small smile, "Of course."

"We'll take him back to Billy's," Sam says making Carlisle nods

"I'll be there as soon as I can. And I'll take Daisy with me." He says making Sam nod.

Edward's head had immediately snapped over to look at Paul hearing his thoughts about Daisy.

Paul imprinted on a vampire? He thought to himself in shock, wishing he could hear Daisy's thoughts.

"Hang in there Jake," Bella says still scared for her friend.

The pack all helped lift Jacob up.

"It's okay Jake. We got you." Paul says not looking at Daisy again, just thinking about Jacob.

The boys all mumbled, "We got you," softly as they carried him out.

Daisy watched in worry as they left.

"You heal humans?" Carlisle asks walking next to Daisy as they walk back to the group.

"Yes, Victoria made be practice. She wanted me to perfect every gift I got." Daisy says standing next to Bree in the back.

"I'm proud of you. We're almost out of here, okay?"

"They're coming!" Alice yells causing everyone to look forward.

Daisy and Bree didn't know who these people were, but they assumed they were leaders because of the way they dressed.

All wearing the same necklace around their neck and wearing hoods. Once they got closer they took off the hoods and all looked at the Cullen's.

"Impressive. I've never seen a coven escape an assault of this magnitude intact." Jane says her eyes looking at each person there.

"We were lucky," Carlisle says, wanting to get this over with.

"I doubt that," Jane says not being afraid to say what's on her mind always.

"It appears we missed an entertaining fight," Alec says with a smirk.

"Yes, it's not often we're rendered unnecessary," Jane comments.

Edward wants to roll his eyes but stays still, "if you'd arrived a half hour ago. You would have fulfilled your purpose."

"Pity." She says finally looking behind the Cullen's to see two newborns. "You missed two." She smirked.

The Cullens all looked back nervously knowing what was about to happen.

Bree looked around scared as Daisy took a step forward in front of her.

"We offered their asylum in exchange for their surrender," Carlisle says, not knowing what's about to happen. However, once they discovered Daisy's gift. They might not want to kill her.

"That wasn't yours to offer," Jane says making Daisy roll her eyes. "Why did you come?" Jane yelled using her gift on both girls.

But was shocked when only Bree fell to the floor in pain screaming.

"Who created you?" She continued making Daisy mad.

"What are you doing? Stop, we'll tell you everything you want to know!" Daisy yelled and when Jane continued not caring for her words.

Daisy turned visible speeding to touch every single one of them quickly.

Every vampire in that room looked around not seeing Daisy but before they knew it Jane was the one screaming in pain on the floor.

"Hurts doesn't it," Daisy smirks not taking her eyes off Jane. Alec was on the floor with his sister looking at her in confusion.

She quickly noticed Dimitri and the other one were around to run at her.

She stopped Jane's pain, "I wouldn't. I'll burn you all alive before you take another step." Daisy glares at them lifting her hand up and showing them the flames.

The Volturi and the Cullen's looked at her in shock and the Cullen were even impressed.

Daisy helps Bree up and pushes her behind.

"You didn't need to do that. They'll tell you anything you want to know," Esme says trying to protect both girls and calm the situation.

"How did you do that." Jane snapped as her brother helped her out.

"Hurts, doesn't it," Daisy smirks, having the upper hand. "Victoria created us. But Riley kept Bree and the others out of it. Said their thoughts weren't safe."

"But you knew of her?" Alec asks still upset at the fact, that she may also have his power.

"Victoria immediately recognized my potential and trained me. I can inherit anyone's ability with one single touch."

Dimitri hasn't taken his eyes off Daisy, "you would make an excellent addition to the Volturi."

Aro would be so happy to have someone like Daisy on their side because she could be the most powerful vampire with her gift.

Daisy immediately met Edward's eyes who looked a bit panicked, like warning her about something.

"At the moment, I'm not joining anyone. I still have some people to take care of."

"Did you know about Victoria?" Edward said changing the subject wanting to get the focus off of Daisy so the guards could leave.

"Edward if the Volturi had knowledge of Victoria they would've stopped her. Isn't that right, Jane?"

Daisy opened her mind and said, I doubt it. Causing Edward to look at her surprised.

"Of course. Felix." Jane says making Felix walk forward. Daisy knew she had to fight and was thankful Victoria trained her well.

"They didn't know what they were doing. We'll take responsibility for them." Esme says hopefully the Volturi will accept it.

"Give them a chance." Carlisle agrees with his mate.

Rosalie looks back at them, not knowing what to do or think.

"The Volturi don't give second chances. Keep that in mind." Jane says looking at Bella. "Caius will be interested to know that she's still human."

"That date is set," Bella says leaning against Edward's chest still thinking about Jacob.

"Take care of that, Felix. I'd like to go home." Jane's eyes go to Daisy who stands in front.

Felix walked forward and the Cullen didn't stop him or argue.

Daisy ran forward and used Alec's gift to numb his entire body. He fell to his knees making the Cullen's step back and the other guards step forward.

Daisy lifts up her arm, feeling the hot fire. "I wonder what your leaders will think. When I eliminate all four of his weak guards."

As hard as Janes's glare was, her powers didn't want on Daisy which really made her weak.

"You wouldn't."

Daisy smirked, "Oh I will. I have nothing to lose." She looked at the Cullen's.

"What do you want." Alec snaps hating that his powers also didn't work on her.

"I want you to leave us alone and never bother me. Believe me, I won't cause trouble. If I do, I'll let you kill me." Daisy says not looking back at Bree who still looks worried.

"The Volturi don't give second chances," Dimitri says repeating Janes's words from earlier.

"We haven't even gotten a first chance. We didn't fight in this battle and we didn't expose your secret." Daisy noticed they didn't say anything so she brought her hand close to Felix. "I've never burned anyone alive before. Just not to ruin my outfit."

"Okay! Okay, you won. We'll leave, but this isn't over. Aro will want to know about you."

Daisy smirked, "Sounds good," and shoved Felix away with a force that made him fall.

Felix stood up angrily at what had happened. But all four guards left, keeping their word.

"That could have ended really badly," Alice says finally letting out the deep breath she was holding.

"But it didn't."

"Would you have killed them?" Edward asked curiously.

Daisy smirked, "if I had to."

Carlisle started, "Aro would have come for you."

"And I would have used his guard's powers against him. I'm not afraid of a little battle." Not anymore.

Being a part of this world made Daisy realize she had to be strong and show no weakness to simply survive. Victoria might have been a bitch but she sure knew how to fight and survive.

"Why do you have gold eyes?" Bree shyly steps out from in front of Daisy.

Esme walked forward, "We survive on animal blood instead of human blood."

"Doesn't that make you weak?" Daisy asks.

"I can still beat you in a fight." Emmett chimes in.

Daisy smiled, "you wish."

"Why are you going after this?" Esme asks standing in front of both girls.

Daisy and Bree share a look, "We're not sure yet. But we'll figure it out."

Esme looked at her mate with a pleading look and smiled when he nodded.

"Would you want to stay with us? But we ask you don't feed on locals." Both girls smile and Bree lightly shoves Daisy.

"I want to try the animal diet. Will you Daisy? Please." Bree looks at her friend with a pleasing look.

Daisy looked at Carlisle, "I'll give it a try if you're okay with teaching us."

"Of course." The father figure says, gladly taking in both girls.

"I'll teach you both! I'm so excited!" Alice yells and tightly pulls both girls into a hug.

Bree immediately wrapped her arms around Alice and Daisy gave an awkward smile and hugged her back.

"We should head over to Billy. I want to see how fast your healing gift works." Carlisle says making Daisy nod and look at Bree.

"I'll take care of her," Esme says making Daisy smile.

"Thank you, truly."

Esme pulled Daisy into a hug which shocked the newborn.

Her vampire life may not have started off great but it was getting better. The Cullen's seem like decent people. And both girls already liked Carlisle and Esme.

Author notes: I hope you all liked this chapter! Daisy will be healing Jacob in the next chapter, I hope this chapter didn't have many mistakes. I wrote it within an hour. I'm working on chapter three now so I should be posting that soon.

also, this story will be following the Breaking Dawn timeline but I will be adding my own plot in the middle of Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.
