Deyanira's POV:

        I was sprawled upon my throne with my golden blonde hair sticking in each direction, my skin sticky from lack of hygiene, my eyes dull as I stared at the crystal ball and watch as my husband made love to another. My heart was breaking once more but how can it? When it was already broken by that foolish friend of mine, Galadriel. I can't take over Middle Earth if I know that Legolas is out there having the time of his life.

Also for him to come back to Middle Earth he would have to be happy there for him to come back here. Now that he is all happy-- EVERYTHING IS RUINED!! "Igor!!" I shouted as my only family came limping towards me "Yes your majesty?" he croaked "What else can we send to kill that human filth?" I sneered but Igor nervously fiddled with his fingers and that always meant that something wasn't going according to plan. "Uhhh.." he tried saying but I groaned "What's the matter now?" "He is getting impatient." He nervously let out, my eyes widen as I realized what he was saying. 

"Fine! I'll do things myself! Igor come! We shall go to this land that never sleeps." 

Valerie's POV:

        Me and Legolas along with Skylar were on our way to Time Square because there were dancers there and we all wanted to have just a relaxing day with no drama in it. "Are you sure the dancers will come?" I asked Skylar she nodded her head and said "Yes, they might be taking a break." we just kept walking and Legolas held my hand.

I've never felt this way for someone, not even Zac. Legolas just accidentally swooped into my life and stole my heart and soul. I belonged to him and he belonged to me, not that I am possessive but we have each other even though he is a married man, still what is marriage when there is no love? "Are you alright Valerie? You seem distant." Legolas spoke up looking concerned. I gave him a warm smile and said "I'm fine, just thinking about us," he smiled as well and kissed my lips gently. 

We got to Time Square just as the dancers were spinning on their heads which Skylar cheered to. Me and Legolas were laughing as one acted like a mime but then the ground started to shake. One of the New Yorkers shouted "Earthquake!!" Skylar started trying to balance on her own but Legolas held me firmly with both arms. When suddenly one of the man-hole lids came flying off and hit the ground with a Clang.

The ground then stopped shaking and people were slowly getting up but the worst wasn't over. Smoke started to come out from the man-hole some shouted "Fire!" others shouted "Dragon!" which isn't the smartest thing but when all stopped guessing what the smoke was the ground shook for a second making some of the people fall to the ground. People's eyes were on the man-hole anxiously waiting for the source of the smoke when finally something happened, a figure started slowly appearing like she was being lifted from below. It was a woman, a beautiful woman with golden locks that was braided over her head and piercing blue eyes like the sky and her dark long black gown that clung to every inch of her. She had on a tall collar made out of feathers giving her an evil look. 

Her eyes scanned the crowd like she was looking for something or someone. The people started cheering and clapping thinking it was just a show that's until she lifted her hand and threw a person nearby away like she had telekinesis and the person landed on top of a car possibly dead. "SILENCE!" the woman screamed as her voice echoed through the whole city. People started screaming as they ran for their lives but for some reason I couldn't move from where I stood. That's until the beautiful woman's eyes landed on me, she smiled with evil twinkling in her eyes and her smile "Legolas my love!" she said that's when it hit me and it hit me hard.

This beautiful woman was Legolas' wife. 

I look back at the beautiful woman and saw her pointed ears "Deyanira? what are you doing here?" Legolas sneered as a scowl was imprinted on his face. The woman named Deyanira clapped her hands together and smiled as she said "Checking on you and may I say that you sure have gone human, no more elven greetings? Is it because of this girl?" she spat the last word. "You sent me here didn't you? Just leave us alone!" Legolas protected me and I would be lying if I said I wasn't swooning at the moment but at the same time scared. "I can't do such thing oh dear husband, you are mine and mine alone. I can't have you sleeping with other women can't I?" She said, I turned to Legolas and asked "How does she know everything?" which was met with no one answering.

"What the hell is happening here?" Skylar finally spoke up. 

but before anything else could happen, Legolas pushed me and Skylar out of the way. Totally catching us off guard but thankfully he saw a fire ball coming towards us. "Valerie Grenne! You shall die!!" Deyanira screamed as everything around her including her hands and eyes turned into fire. "Holy cow!" Skylar gasped as we three stood up and started running "You can't hide from me!!" she screamed again "Since when did our life became so dangerous!?" Skylar shouted over her heavy breathing since we were sprinting for our lives.

I did not dare look back afraid I might see her scary figure chasing after us. Legolas still gripped my hand as we ran but once we arrived in Central Park-- Yes, we ran that far-- we thought we lost her. But I underestimated Deyanira. She came popping out of nowhere right in front of us but this time it wasn't just Deyanira but also another creature, Frosty the poop man but this one was way more ugly. 

Legolas then stood in front of me protectively and he tried fighting Deyanira while Frosty the poop man began to limp towards me like literally limp. Me and Skylar started screaming and running but believe me this Poop man can limp fast. Skylar then grabbed something from her bag and shoved it into my hands. "Use this!" she frantically shouted, I looked down at my hands and saw a pocket knife. "Since when did you have this?" I asked, both of us still running around trying to lose the limping poop man. Legolas was fighting with Deyanira with a small dagger that he kept strapped to his leg.

Since when does Legolas and Skylar keep dangerous weapons on them?

Shadows formed into some creepy scary little demons started terrorizing the city scaring and hurting people around us. All you could hear was their screams.

"Since we keep getting attacked." Skylar said frustratingly as we arrived at the highway, without even noticing the limping poop man appeared in front of me and tripped me and Skylar making us fall to the ground. "Valerie!!!" Legolas shouted as he tried getting to us but he couldn't since Deyanira was still fighting with him. Right as the poop man lift up a crooked looking sword and was about to end my life, I quickly thrust the pocket knife into his chest.

 Making him grunt in pain. The shadows rushed to Deyanira and all the fighting and chaos seemed to have stopped. The limping poop man then sputtered black blood making Skylar vomit on the side. My eyes widen at the creature that I just killed. I just killed a living creature.

He might be an evil creature but he breaths the same air as me, he must've had family and possibly kids. He might have a lover waiting for him. It was all because of me that his life had ended, because of me. "Igor!!!" Deyanira cried out in agony as she pushed Legolas out of the way and glided towards the limping poop man named Igor. Even if she was evil and possibly crazy still she looked beautiful and moved like an angel. 

Before Igor could fall to the ground, Deyanira caught him. "Igor, my dear dear dear Igor. Don't go to the light." her angelic voice said "M-- My *gasps for air* My lady... the, the light is... so... beautiful." he croaked as his eyes stared at the sky. "No my darling Igor-- You can't just leave me!" she started crying and guilt hit my heart like a slap to the face. "It was an honour and my.... only dream to serve you my Queen... may you get what you want and....." but he didn't finish the sentence as he took his last breath. 

Deyanira started crying but more like sobbing. As she clutched Igor to her chest, Legolas came beside me as we started backing away along with Skylar. Deyanira lifted her head and faced me as she shouted "You Monster!!" my heart ached at the word. I was a monster, I have never killed a living being in my whole life. "You shall pay for this one day Valerie Grenne!!" 

BEEP!

A car honked its horn as the driver shouted "Get out of the way!!" Deyanira put Igor on the ground as she faced the car and flicked the car far away with just a move of her hand. She then turned back around as she picked up Igor and her eyes burning into mine and disappeared. 

So much has happened yet all that was running through my head was....

I was a monster.
