Valerie's POV:

        We came back from Seattle and we were back in New York. Skylar was happy to have us back since she has been lonely the couple of days. School days were approaching meaning I had to practice for the main role. Since this time I won the main role of our ballet play. This could be my big break.

We were currently at the mall seeing people take down the Christmas decorations but still there was Santa Claus since children wanted to spend time with him more. Legolas was beside me holding my hand, we were now in a very comfortable stress-free relationship. "So what do you guys think? Should we take our summer vacation to Paris or Hawaii?" Skylar asked wanting to go places for summer vacation while all I wanted to do was to just stay home and spend my precious time with Legolas.

"Paris? Hawaii? Where are those places?" Legolas asked "Hawaii is like a big beach where all you do is sit under the sun and swim while Paris is the city of love" she said as she wiggled her eyebrows. "Oh! Yeah! Legolas? Do they have Beef Jerky in your world?" Skylar asked making me giggle "Beef Jerky? Never heard of it-- does it bite?" he asked making me and Skylar chuckle "Nah! It's food. Geez! Do you have a short name for Legolas because that name is a mouth full. what about Leggy or Lego or Las?" Skylar kept rambling on.

We were finally happy. There was no Cindy drama or Orc Problem or Zac drama. There was just my best friend, the love of my life? maybe. Then there was just smiles and laughter-- and great food! What can go wrong?

3rd POV:

        Suddenly there was a ear-piercing scream, the scream made the lights in the mall spark and break. People screaming from everywhere and children crying. "Val!! What's going on!?" Skylar asked frantically as their eyes scanned the room for the source. "This is not good." Legolas said as his eyes scanned everywhere and stood in front of Valerie and Skylar protectively.

"What's not good?" Valerie asked "Nazguls, they are one of the most feared creatures in my world... once they are given a task they will stop at nothing to complete it." he said "What in the hell are they doing here!?!" Skylar yelled but was met with another ear-piercing scream making Valerie cling to Legolas' arm like her life depended on it. The Nazgul creature appeared out of the shadows, a few lights were on but it only flickered giving it a scary effect. "Valerie Greene." the Nazgul hissed as its shadow faced gazed upon them. Valerie's blood ran cold as she felt like this was her last moment.

Legolas was scared now. He knew what she was doing now. She wanted to get rid of Valerie and this is all his fault. He couldn't help but feel guilty. Valerie had to know the truth because one way or another Valerie would find out and either way he will lose her for good.

Legolas faced Skylar and Valerie who were now trembling with fear. "I want you two to keep running and never stop-- no matter what!!" Legolas ordered them, both Valerie and Skylar nodded. Legolas knew this creature and anything Legolas says, they must obey. As Skylar and Valerie ran for their life the Nazgul charged towards them not before Legolas spotted a Santa Claus running as if he couldn't see but as he looked closely, Santa Claus' hat was covering his eyes.

As much as Legolas despised the fat man in the red suit, he knew he had to save him. Legolas ran and pushed Santa Claus to the side. Once Santa Claus lifted his hat he squeaked "Thank you!" but Legolas was driven with rage as he hissed "Listen here red man, you shall go back to your kingdom to the pole of North and release all elves, from their slavery!" the Santa was confused but with fear running up and down his body he just nodded and said "Anything you want!" Legolas nodded and started running after the Nazgul.

        Valerie and Skylar ran out of the mall, relieved that they were away from the dark red creature. Just as they were about to stop, the doors of the mall flew open harshly as the dark red creature emerged through it. Skylar gave an ear-piercing scream as she grabbed Valerie's hand and started running more but the creature was too fast for them as the creature easily caught up and grabbed Valerie by the neck. She was choking and trying to gasp for air, the Nazgul pushed Skylar to the ground harshly that she was knocked out cold.

Suddenly the faceless creature put his face right in front of Valeries' as he seemed like he was inhaling. Some smoke or light was coming out of Valerie's mouth that's when she realized he is sucking her soul. Black dots danced at the corner of Valerie's eyes, her beautiful youth appearance was now looking like she was aging fast. Right before Valerie could shut her eyes for good the Nazgul was set on fire by none other than Legolas. The Nazgul screamed in pain as it let go of Valerie before Valerie could hit the ground, Legolas dived in to catch her scrapping the skin off of his elbows and knees.

Valerie's youth was back but she felt like she hasn't breathed in forever. "Valerie! Valerie! Stay with me!" Legolas said but his voice was so distant and Valerie was so sleepy that she let the sleep consume her.

        As Valerie opened her eyes she noticed she was back in her own room. Her head ached badly but most of the pain she felt came from her lungs. Valerie pushed herself up and saw Legolas sitting at the edge of her bed "Where's Skylar?" Valerie voice croaked, Legolas smiled weakly and said "She is in my room, resting. I explained everything to her and she is a bit shaken up." Valerie then tried to stand but Legolas pushed her back on the bed "You should rest especially since a Nazgul almost took your life." his voice was strained.

"Why did that thing wanted me? what's so special about me?" Valerie asked as she leaned against the headboard and crossed her arms in front of her chest. Legolas sighed and said "They are after you because of me." as he avoided to make eye contact with Valerie. "Why are they after you Legolas? Are they your enemy?" she asked "They aren't suppose to be my enemies but the Orcs are," he replied still not making eye contact. "Did you do something bad back in your world? Like steal a crown or murder someone?" Valerie was now nervous.

How could she just let a total and complete stranger live with her. She doesn't even know him for real. He might be banished from his home because he killed somebody or he stole something. For the first time ever since Valerie met Legolas, she didn't feel safe.

"No! I would do no such thing... It's just that... " Legolas couldn't finish his sentence. He saw the fear in Valerie's eyes. The look he wished Valerie would never use when she looks at him, but here she is now looking at him like he would actually hurt her. Not in a million lifetimes would Legolas ever think of ever hurting his dear Valerie. "Just what Legolas? You are scaring me. Does Skylar know?" Valerie asked "She only knows half... I needed to tell you first because I haven't been completely honest with you."

"What!?! You lied to me!? Did you rape someone back in your world!? like that Light Lady or whatever she was!? Or you're telling me you got plastic surgery on your ears and this is all a joke?!" Valerie was nervously rambling on. She was too scared about what Legolas is going to say. Legolas grabbed Valerie's hand and said softly "I would never hurt you Valerie but I am scared of losing you... after I tell you this because you might not look at me the same anymore." Tears were already pricking Valerie's eyes as she sighed out "Tell me."

"I'm married."
