Hey guys! I am definitely enjoying writing my stories especially this one since it is very different from what I usually write. :D This chapter is inspired by the song Out of my league by Stephen Speaks, I know I have used in my other story but I really love this song-- if you haven't heard it then start listening to it on the side. It really relates to the story. :D Enjoy!

Legolas' POV

Ever since I have arrived in this planet called "Earth" I have been confused and sadly missing home but the only thing keeping me from fading was Valerie. The first time I saw her I thought she was a witch of some sort but as she kindly took me in especially since she barely knows me and she taught me how everything works without throwing me out even though she knows I am not human.

She accepts me like a normal person and I am very touched and moved by her gesture. She is taking me and Skylar to this place called "California" where she'll be dancing for a role. We rode on a moving transportation called "Air Planes" and I find it very interesting. I enjoy looking out the window seeing the clouds and the villages that lay down far below. I would also see birds flying in the sky. but what I love most about Earth is....

Valerie's smile.

Especially today as we got off the air plane she looked most stunning as the sun shined down on her as if she was an angel walking on land, she was getting off the Air plane beside Skylar and me already down below watching her. Her and Skylar were laughing about something and it was like everything was in slow motion as she came down the stairs. Her brown wavy hair bounced as she took each step, her smile showing her white beautiful teeth, her green eyes sparkled in the sun, she looked absolutely amazing. It's her hair and her eyes today that just simply take me away, I couldn't tear my eyes away from her and even though she is right there standing in her cute floral dress and the wind blowing her hair slightly I know she would never like a guy like me.

She pointed out the guy she liked before who goes by the name Zac and he looked cool as what Skylar taught me. I knew Valerie would never go for a guy like me but I owe her as she accepted me into her home. "Legolas are you okay?" Valerie's crystal voice rang through the air snapping me out of my own thoughts. "Uhh.. yeah! I am just excited to see the rest of California." I said, it wasn't a lie but it wasn't the total truth. She smiled at me and we proceeded to get another transportation called "Taxi" and go to a talan called "hotel" strange names humans give on this planet.

As we arrived at the hotel Skylar and Valerie was talking to some man at a wooden looking large table, the man then gave 2 keys to Skylar and approached me "Okay! One of us are sharing rooms and the other would be alone-- I'm the one to be alone!!" Skylar said as she gave one key to Valerie and walked off towards a Mithril looking doors. "I'm glad we're sharing rooms so I could teach you how things work here." Valerie said as she smiled, I grabbed her bags along with mine and she took me to the Mithril doors and it opened startling me a bit she smiled widely as she saw how startled I was and as we were inside the Mithril doors which was wooden in the inside she then said "This is called an Elevator it brings us to the next floor kinda like stairs." I wonder if my father would ever put an elevator in our place.

We arrived to a hallway filled with doors, the floor was wooden with burgundy rugs. She then led us to a door and she opened it with a key it revealed a room while I was still looking around Valerie then gasped as her eyes were on a certain object I looked at what she was looking at which was the bed but as realization hit me I just noticed there was only one bed but two persons I looked at Valerie and she had a displeasing look on her face. I hated when she was upset or sad it made me sad to think such a beautiful creature could be sad. "I'll sleep on the sofa." I told her "No you don't!" she argued

"Geez! You two definitely sound like a married couple. Why don't you share the bed it's not like your gonna have sex or something." Skylar said as she appeared in the doorway. At the mention of sex me and Valerie both blushed. "Okay! The audition is tomorrow morning then it will be Zac's party in the afternoon so around lunch time we'll go bikini shopping." Skylar said "I'm not going." Valerie said sadly. "Awww... you're such a kill joy Val! Come on! We are not going because of Zac, we are going because it is one of the coolest party of the year and besides you can have Blondie here as your date." Skylar said and for some reason Valerie was blushing like a tomato.

"Fine!" Valerie said as she rolled her eyes, Skylar then smiled and said "Good." as she turned around sharply and walked away. "Legolas, You're gonna be my date tomorrow at the beach party that's if you are okay with that?" she asked as she started unpacking her clothes. "Date? What is that?" I asked her innocently she then blushed again and said "Date is when a boy and girl like me and you go out and spend time together not as friends but more than that." as those words left her mouth I wanted to blush but I didn't because I didn't want to show her how touched I am and how much I am happy about it.

I smiled softly at her and said "I would love to." as I bowed she giggled and continued unpacking. I don't know much of this planet and its habitats but I know that it is frightening to be swimming in this strange sea but I rather be here with Valerie than on land.
