A week later

(A/N: How many times have I said that? 😂)

Hyunmi is on FaceTime with Jungkook. Well, sort of. They are on the video chat except Hyunmi isn't in front of the camera. She has her phone on a tripod as it's on the vanity. All he's seeing is clothes being thrown around.

Hyunmi: I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WEAR

Jungkook: Well you have to calm down first

Hyunmi: WHAT DO YOU MEAN? I AM CALM. I'M CHILLED OUT RIGHT NOW.

Jungkook: Now you're just kidding yourself

Hyunmi sighs as moves over to the camera then jumps at the sudden knock on the door. It's Jiyoung.

Jiyoung: Hyunmi–

Jiyoung instantly gasps at the mess of the room.

Hyunmi: I'll clean it up I swear!!

She's in shock of the mess because never has Hyunmi ever be this messy.

Jiyoung: What..happened?

Hyunmi: I don't know what to wear..

Jiyoung: To what?

Hyunmi: That meeting

Jiyoung: What? What meeting?

Hyunmi: That meeting I have to go to with my father

Jiyoung: That isn't until tomorrow..

Hyunmi: WHAT?–But..But he told me this morning that it was later today.

Jiyoung: Aish, he must have confused the days again. It's tomorrow.

Hyunmi jaw just drops as she starts around the whole room. Jungkook is trying to not laugh but since he can't contain it. He covers the camera and mutes himself. Hyunmi knows he's laughing though.

Hyunmi: YA! Stop laughing! I know you aren't doing anything else today so I might as well should make you come here and clean.

He unmutes himself and shows himself.

Jungkook: I wasn't the one who made the mess

Hyunmi: And?

Jungkook: Hm, I guess as long as I get to spend time with you, anything is okay.

Hyunmi: Stop..

Jiyoung: You two are just the cutest! Are you dating yet?

Hyunmi: Aniyo..

Jungkook: Yet..

Jiyoung: Aww..you two remind me of when I was your age..except my boyfriend at the time wasn't an idol..and still isn't. You get the gist though.

Hyunmi: Unnie! You're aren't old though.

Jiyoung: Aish, Hyunmi, I'm 29.

Jungkook: THAT'S NOT OLD!–I apologize for raising my voice but 29 is not old.

Jiyoung: I feel older

Hyunmi: You look as if you were 24, honestly unnie~

Jiyoung: You are too kind, Hyunmi.

Jungkook: Noona, you really do though~

Jiyoung: Aish..stop it.

Jungkook: We should get you a date

Hyunmi gasps.

Hyunmi: THAT'S A GREAT IDEA

Jiyoung: Ani..I don't think–

Jungkook: How should we start this search though?

Hyunmi: Hm..

Jiyoung: I don't think this is a good–

Jungkook: Should we start going around and asking if they are interested in getting a date?

Hyunmi: I suppose–

Jiyoung: DON'T I GET A SAY IN THIS?

Hyunmi turns around and looks at Jiyoung.

Hyunmi: Sorry unnie..

Jungkook: Sorry noona..

Jiyoung: Now, don't worry about me and my love life. You two should go on another date or something.

Hyunmi: Are you trying to get rid of us?

Jiyoung: Maybe..but because I want to focus on cleaning this room. Go have fun while you can.

Hyunmi: Unnie! I feel bad though..

Jiyoung: It's my job anyway, Hyunmi. It's okay. As long as you go have fun, it's fine with me.

Hyunmi smiles as she hugs Jiyoung tightly.

Hyunmi: Thank you unnie!!

She grabs her phone and walks out of her closet room and enters her bedroom.

Hyunmi: So, since you actually don't have anything to do for the rest of the day, should we go hang out?

Jungkook: Correction, date and ne, we definitely should.

Jin: YAHHH IS THAT HYUNMI'S VOICE I HEAR?

Taehyung: HYUNMI? WAIT, SHE'S HERE?

Yoongi: Ani, it's probably FaceTime.

Taehyung: But what if it isn't?

Yoongi: Then I would be freaked out because how did she come in with all us being in the living room for a while now.

Taehyung: Hm..fair point.

Jin: Are you guys done?

Yoongi: Yeah

Jungkook hears footsteps coming to his room and in barges Taejin.

Taehyung: It is FaceTime!!

Yoongi: Yup!!!

Jin: Aww it's Junmi again!

Taehyung: The two lovebirds

Hyunmi: Junmi?

Jungkook: Whenever they mention the both of us like together they call us Junmi

Jin: It's your ship name with Jungkook. We support.

Taehyung: Hyung! You're supposed to say that we ship it.

Jin: Isn't it the same thing?

Taehyung: Well..yeah but still.

They've already gone out to eat and now Jungkook has forced her to go shopping for an outfit.

Hyunmi: Isn't it usually the girl that forces the guy to go shopping?

Jungkook: Not today

Hyunmi: No not today eonjenga kkocheun jigetji

Jungkook smiles and shakes his head.

Jungkook: Stop

Hyunmi: Fine but I don't want to go shopping today

Jungkook: Just to buy an outfit then leave

Hyunmi: Fine

They finished the shopping and go back to Hyunmi's.

Hyunmi: My father won't be back until around 9 and yeah, my mom's currently on yet another business trip–

Jiyoung: I know you went out to eat but is there anything you want?

Hyunmi: I don't want anything, thank you.

Jungkook: Just a glass of water please

Jiyoung smiles and bows before leaving to the kitchen.

Jungkook: Ya, we still need to continue watching W.

Hyunmi: Do you even remember what was going on? It's been months since we last watched.

Jungkook: I remember but do you?

Hyunmi: I do

Jungkook: Then let's continue watching

Hyunmi: You put it on. I'm going to change into comfier clothing.

8PM

Hyunmi's dad comes home earlier than expected. Jungkook and Hyunmi are still watching W.

Her father enters the living room as he heard the tv and freezes in place at what he sees. Jungkook and Hyunmi are cuddling. He clears his throat causing Hyunmi to turn her head back, eyes widen and stand up quickly, facing her father. Jungkook stands up as well.

Hyunmi: DAD–I thought you were suppose to come at 9..

Hyunmi's Dad: We wrapped up early today..Who's that?

Jungkook bows before introducing himself, feeling very nervous.

Jungkook: H-Hello Sir, I'm Jeon Jung Kook.

Hyunmi's Dad: ..Okay, Jungkook, what is going on between you and my daughter?

Hyunmi looks down, full of fear as Jungkook takes a glance at her.

Jungkook: Well..Sir, we..

Hyunmi takes a deep breath before looking at her father again.

Hyunmi: He's one of Seunghae's best friends and I knew him before I met Seunghae and gained feelings for him before I met Seunghae.

Hyunmi's Dad: Gained feelings..?

Hyunmi: Ye..gained feelings.

Hyunmi's Dad: Gained feelings....and do you, Jungkook..have feelings for my daughter?

Jungkook: Ye Sir, I have feelings for your daughter and they are not some foolish, lustful feelings I have towards her.

Hyunmi's Dad: ..Those shoes were not Jongyul's..were they?

Hyunmi: What..?

Hyunmi's Dad: That day when I asked you if anyone was here because I saw the extra pair of sneakers..They were Jungkook's, weren't they?

Hyunmi: Oh..that, ye, they are Jungkook's.

Hyunmi's Dad: So you lied to me

Hyunmi: Dad, that's not–

Hyunmi's Dad: You lied to me

Hyunmi: Sort of but because I knew you would be angry–

Hyunmi's Dad: I'm disappointed in you. You lied to me, straight to my face. You're a disappointment.

Her eyes are teary but she's not letting her tears out.

Hyunmi: ....And you are gullible, Father. I'm not a good liar, nearly everyone can see through my lies but you and my mom. If you'd only be more open-minded and opened your eyes more, you'd see that I tend to lie to you two a lot and you more because all I've wanted to do in life was to make the two of you proud of me because that's the way the two showed me I must live. Though, you guys are never here. You've both always missed the important moments in my life. My graduations, my birthday parties, most holidays, the times I was in the hospital and so many more. You both are never there for me when I needed you most. Nevertheless, I love and care about you two and I still want to make you proud..but it's hard to make you proud while I'm unhappy doing it.

Hyunmi's words leave her father speechless. She grabs her car keys and tosses them to Jungkook.

Hyunmi: Let's go

Hyunmi walks past her father without a word and Jungkook awkwardly bows before passing him. They put on their shoes and exit the house.

Jungkook: Where are we going..?

Hyunmi: Hyesu's

Jungkook: Alright
