A week passed with no improvement in Naina's condition... she was stable but there was no such development in her condition showing any sign of coming out from Coma... Sameer stayed with her all the time in hospital, managing his office work also from there with the help his best supporter's Pandit and Preeti... even the Doctor's were got speechless seeing his endless efforts to wait for her to wake... he was famous for his rudeness and arrogance and never accept failures in his entire life but for Naina, he never lost his temper or co-operate in treatment positively with a strong hope of her to get recover soon...

It becomes his daily habit to talk with her... telling her what all going on around them... even discussing and asking her opinion on official matters like the ways they were doing in office... he firmly believed that she is listening everything so ensures that no one cry or talk negative around her... giving a positive surrounding for her early recovery...

If earlier Preeti and Pandit was concerned for their friends, was now more worried about Sameer seeing him in so much firmly believe that Naina will awake soon... after Pandit consulted with all specialists, there was no positive outcome which indicates how much time she will take to awake... they had truly no idea how they would handle Sameer, if anything happened to his lifeline, his Naina...

Karthik entered in ward seeing him softly talking to her sharing his view about some project.... his eyes got wet seeing them both in this condition... Sameer was so lost in talking to her that not even realize Karthik's presence in the room...

Standing at his back, he keeps his hand on his shoulder gaining his attention... Sameer turned to see Karthik standing there... they both were never be in talking terms earlier but since the day Naina told him about Karthik, Sameer develop a soft corner for him... knowing how much lonely he is, same likes him...

Karthik pulling a chair sits with him asking, "how is she now... I came back yesterday only but none of you were there... and no one was even aware about of you both at home...." co-incidentally Vishakha was out of country on a vacation and not aware about all the happenings around... she was never be a family for Sameer & never concerned about his life, except her own share of money...

Karthik further added, "I met with Pandit today in office and got to know everything... I know we are not in good relations but at least as a family you should have informed me... I genuinely cared for both of you..."

Sameer didn't reply as still feels hesitate to share his personal matters with him... he doesn't want to share Naina's past and reason for her to be in this state with any one... seeing him so quiet Karthik smiled solely, "Sameer, I know you are not comfortable with me at all, and I know the reason... I even don't want to push you... but believe me, I am always there for you and Naina... you are my younger brother and I always consider her as my sister... I would love to do anything for you two... so please don't hesitate and let me know if needed any help... even if you don't want to share your personal matters, it's okay... but just trust me for any help if needed..."

Karthik looked at him with expectant look when Sameer replied slowly, "thanks... thanks for your concerns... sorry voh... I mean I don't know how to say... but it really meant a lot for me that you came here to see her... she really respects you like an elder one..." he said genuinely as for the name's sake of family he has no one around him who cares for them... Naina always looked for family affection in which he completely failed to give her...

Karthik smiled patting his shoulder, "you are my younger brother... don't say thanks and sorry... I know mein galat tha kyunki jab mere bhai ko meri sabse jyaada jarurat thi mein uske paas nahin tha... lekin iss baar mein voh galti nahin dohrana chahta... so just one more chance please..." Sameer looked stunned hearing him apologizing for not to be there with him when he needed most... but today he came personally and extended all his support...

Breaking the deadly silence in room, Karthik said, "tumhara accident jab hua un dinon hi mein aur Amrita ek dusre se dur ho rahe the... uski shaadi hone wali thi aur mein chah kar bhi usey rok nahin paaya... bilkul toot chuka tha mein apni bebasi aur majboori mein... aur wajah toh shayad tumhein pata hi hai..." he laughed mocking on his destiny that how his life was destroyed by his own mother...

He paused for a moment added further, "kai dinon tak toh mujhe hosh hi nahin tha ki mein kahaan hoon aur kya kar raha hoon... mein sab kuchh chhod kar kahin dur chale jaana chahta tha lekin Amrita se kiye wade ki wajah se mein Mummy ko chhod bhi nahin saka... voh chahti thi ki mein apne pariwaar se kabhi dur nahin jaau... jab hosh aaya toh pata chala tumhare accident ke baare mein aur jab tak mein hospital aaya tum kisi isolated jagah par shift ho chuke the... aur sach kahun toh shayad himmat bhi nahin thi tumhein face karne ki... mein khud uss haal mein nahin tha ki khud ko sambhal paata toh tumhein bhi kya hi tasalli deta... maine ek bhai ke saath uss din apna pyaar bhi hamesha ke liye kho diya tha... totally failure..." he chuckled mocking on his destiny...

Sameer keep his hand on him, "sorry mujhe yeh sab pata nahin tha... I can understand tum par kya beeti hogi... jab hospital mein tha toh mehsoos hua ki mera koi apna nahin... bohot akela pad gaya tha aur shayad usi kadwahat ki wajah se kabhi kisi par vishwas nahin kar paaya uss din ke baad... par aaj lagta hai tum toh mujhse bhi jyaada akele the... mere paas toh mere do bhai jaise dost Munna aur Pandit the jinhone mujhe sambhala, akele nahin hone diya lekin tum... I am sorry for all my rudeness" he apologized genuinely knowing how much Karthik is also alone in his life, struggling with all emotional trauma's...

Karthik smiled wiping his own wet eyes, "don't say sorry kyunki tumhari koi galti nahin thi... mein tumse bilkul naraaz nahin hoon kyunki tumhara gussa kabhi galat nahin tha par shayad hamare haalat jaroor galat the... jinhone humein kabhi milne nahin diya... aur baad mein kabhi mauka hi nahin mila apni baat kehne ka... laga shayad unn baaton ke koi maayne bhi nahin bache the... aaj bhi yeh himmat shayad Naina ki wajah se hi juta paaya hoon... I know tumhein time lagega but I wish jaldi hi hamari saari duriyaan mit jaaye aur hum sab ek family ki tarah rahe..."

Sameer finally smiled a bit looking at Naina, "ya... you are right... aakhir Naina bhi yahi chahti hai... mujhe hamesha se lagta tha ki yeh seedhi hai aur koi bhi isey bewkoof bana sakta hai... isey duniya ki koi samajh nahin... par ab lagta hai aur kuchh ho na ho isey rishton ki samajh hai aur unhein nibhana bhi jaanti hai... hum sabse jyaada..."

Karthik agreed nodded his head and turned to go when Sameer asked, "how's Amrita... have you told her..." he knew Karthik wants to propose her but not getting courage...

Karthik smiled nervously rubbing his neck, "no... himmat hi nahin huyi... socha tha iss baar keh dunga par nahin kah paaya... I think she needs some more time... hum dost hai aur mein iss baar apni dost nahin khona chahta... kisi bhi keemat par nahin"

Sameer laughed slowly, "I think it's inheritance... you are also like me..." his voice laced with so much affection and love looking at Naina... he recalled how eager he himself was to tell Naina about his feelings, but stops himself...

They talked for some more time on her condition... Karthik stood to go finally, "Sameer, I know I don't have much of business acumen like you but if you need any help just let me know... I am all okay to handle everything with Pandit as best of my knowledge... tum sirf Naina ka dhyaan rakho... she needs only you this time..." before leaving he handed him a small gift wrap sent by Amrita for Naina... Sameer appreciate his help and support...

Sameer accepted it without any hesitation and ensure to give Naina once she will awake, "just say thanks to Amrita from my side... jab se Naina se Amrita ke baare mein suna hai I am really excited to meet her soon... after all soon she will be a part of our family" he laughed slowly making him blush...

Karthik left assuring to come back again to meet them... he feels light-hearted after apologizing to Sameer for not able to support him ever... it seems like a new beginning of their relation... now he also has support of his little brother, who really wish to see him happy with his loved one... a dream of complete family may be comes true...

Sameer turned his focus back on Naina when Doctor came for her check-up... he checked all her current reports and his expression become tensed, "Mr Maheshwari, now her fever has gone but I am worried more about her pregnancy... she has still not crossed her first semester and lots of accidents happened with her... by god grace baby is fine till now but I am worried if she didn't come out from coma soon, it might be danger for baby..." Doctor left after prescribing some more medicines for her...

Sameer was still in shocked state with the news and his emotions flowed out through his eyes... he kept caressing her head repeatedly trying to awake her, "Naina... suna tumne... I know tum sab sun rahi ho... please ab toh uth jaao... tumne kaha tha you love this baby so much... you really care for the baby then how you are not concerned for this... baby ke liye tumne apni jaan ki bhi parwah nahin ki toh aaj kaise tum itni laaparwah ho sakti ho... mujhe pata hai meri Naina kabhi jhuth nahin bolti aur ab tumhein apne baby se kiya wada nibhana hi padega... uske liye tumhein uthna hi padega..."

Subconsciously he keeps his other hand on her stomach caressing softly, "baby... aap shayad mujhe nahin jaante par believe me aapki mummy aapse bohot pyaar karti hai... aap unke dil ke sabse kareeb ho toh voh jaroor aapki baat sunengi... maine bohot dukh diya hai aapki mummy ko apni galatfahmi ki wajah se... shayad meri toh nahin sunegi par aap kahoge toh jaldi se uth jayengi... I am sure voh aapko koi nuksaan nahin hone dengi... and I promise you ki ek baar aapki mummy theek ho jaaye phir aap donon ko itna pyaar karunga ki kabhi mujhse dur jaane ka sochoge bhi nahin... I know I don't deserve you but please give me a chance... aapki mummy ko aapki jarurat hai, aur... aur mujhe bhi... please don't ever leave us..." he keeps talking to the baby lovingly, feeling like a heartly connection towards him...

Mein Nasamajh Hi Sahi Par Voh Taara Hoon Jo,

Teri Ek Khwahish Ke Liye Sou Baar Toot Jaaun...

Since the day Naina was in coma, Sameer kept talking to her randomly on all matters... even sometimes he shared his feelings also to her... but today first time he talked with her baby, feeling so much connected with him... he got overwhelmed with the strong feeling of belongingness with the baby...

Though he never discussed with Naina about the baby and his acceptance till now in front of her but can't deny that he always protected them and really cares for both of them unconditionally...

He smiled contentedly wiping his tears, "I know maine aapse kabhi nahin kaha but believe me, I really cares for you, I also love you too same as your mummy... shayad unse bhi jyaada, thoda sa jyaada... I know I am weird and behave crazily sometimes but I promise you I will give you all happiness which you deserve... you will never feel alone like me... apno ka, apne pariwaar ka saath ki ehmiyat mein jaanta hoon aur akelepan ka dard bhi saha hai maine, aur tumhari Mummy ne... lekin tumse alag hone ka dard nahin sah payenge... and I promise ki hum donon milkar aapko ek pyaar se bharpur pariwaar denge, jo humein kabhi nahin mila... aapko kabhi koi kami mehsoos nahin hogi... bas aap ek baar apni mummy se meri thodi si sifarish kar do... ek baar unhein mere liye, hum donon ke liye uthane ke liye bol do... please baby... I know bachchon ko aise rishwat nahin dete but promise aap jo maangoge aapko voh milega, bas apni Mummy ko mat batana... thodi strict hai na... aapki aur meri Naina Devi" he said cutely talking and laughing with the unborn child in her womb...

Doctor's diagnosis scared him with a mere thought of losing baby... he knew how much Naina is connected with baby but its first time he realized how much baby is important for him also... he scared to death thinking if something will happen to either of them... what will he answer to Naina when she will awake... he can't see her again in another emotional stress...

His eyes keep flowing continuously feeling so helpless as Naina was not at all responding... he keeps talking with her and baby non-stop... he held her hand in his both hands' firmly keeping his head on their entwined hands... requesting her to wake up soon... if not for him then at least for baby... their baby...

The ward was so quiet except his low sobs... he remains seated next to her bed motionlessly fixing his gaze on her face.... all of a sudden, he realized her uneven breathing... she was getting difficult to breathe properly.... Sameer looked at her in shock and quickly pressed the button to call the Doctor...

Soon Doctor rush inside with few nurses and assistants to help... he requested Sameer to go out from ward as she needs urgent medical attention... Pandit seeing him reluctant to leave Naina alone, forced him to come out...

They waited for half an hour which seems like ages for them... finally Doctor came out with a soft smile on his lips, "congrats Mr Maheshwari... finally she is out of danger and coma..."

Sameer asked excitedly, "really... I mean she is awake... aapne dekha... usne kuchh kaha, kuchh boli... uesy koi takleef toh nahin hai... aur... aur usne puchha mere baare mein... mein mil sakta hoon ek baar... please...." he keeps asking non-stop overwhelmed in his excitement...

Doctor laughed on his craziness, "wait Mr Maheshwari... abhi aankh nahin kholi but she is fine now... shayad thodi der mein hosh bhi aa jaayega... I must say yeh sab aapki care aur prayers ka hi nateeja hai ... kehte hai jahaan dawa kaam na kare vahaan dua ka asar hota hai... thodi der pehle tak toh mujhe koi ummid nahin lag rahi thi par it's seems like bhagwan ne aapki prayers sun li..."

Pandit asked suddenly, "toh ab hum usey ghar le ja sakte hai na... aap chinta mat kijiye, hum uska poora khayal rakhenge..." he asked knowing both Naina and Sameer has issues in staying in hospital...

Doctor patted on his shoulder laughing, "itni bhi kya jaldi hai... abhi usye ek baar poori tarah se hosh mein toh aane dijiye... actually we have to do few tests and see how she responds... after being in coma for a week, she must be extremely weak also..."

Sameer nodded smilingly, "it's okay Doctor... until she is fine, we don't have any issues in staying long here... after all her health is most important for me and I don't want to take any risk now..." Doctor left assuring she will be awake soon...

Sameer went inside the ward seeing her still sleeping peacefully... he went closer to her taking a calm breathe, "thanks Naina... mujhe pata tha tum apne baby se kiya wada jaroor nibhaogi... aur aaj mein bhi tumse wada karta hoon ki hamesha tum donon ka khayal rakhunga... meri life mein tumse jyaada jaruri koi nahin... aur jaldi hi yeh baat tumhari aankhon mein aankhen daal kar kahunga... mujhe pata hai tum bhi mujhse bohot pyaar karti ho... bas ek baar tum theek ho jaao... hamare beech koi duri nahin rahegi... tumhein itani khushiyaan dunga ki tum apne saare dard bhool jaaogi... hum donon ne bohot akelapan saha hai par ab hamara pyaar hamari zindagi ki saari kamiyaan poori kar dega... hum donon milkar apne pariwaar ka sapna poora karenge..."

He caressed softly on her abdomen, "thank you so much baby... I am sure aapne hi meri baat apni Mummy ko kahi hai na... jab zindagi se haar maani thi tab aapki Mummy ne meri dream girl bankar mujhe dobara jeena sikhaya tha.... aur aaj aapne ek Angel ki tarah mera saath diya... aaj laga mein akela nahin hoon, aap ho mere saath aur hum donon milkar aapki Mummy ka bohot dhyaan rakhenge... mein aapse bhi promise karta hoon ki kabhi aap donon ka saath nahin chhodunga... apni pyaari si Angel ke liye mein duniya ki saari khushiyaan laaunga... promise jab bhi aapki Mummy gussa karengi, aapke hisse ki saari daant bhi mein hi kha lunga kyunki aapki Mummy bohot strict hai na... lekin kabhi aapki aankhon mein aansu nahin aane dunga... aur yeh aapke Papa ka promise hai aapse..." he smiled amidst tears in his eyes thanking to the unborn child to grant his long-lasted wish... thanking to give him a feeling of completeness, a feel of family for which they both were longing in their life...

He stayed sitting close to her waiting for her to open her eyes... Pandit and Preeti also eagerly keep checking on her... they keep pacing here and there in room getting impatient... after every minute, they checked on her if she awakes but another pair of eyes didn't even move slightly from her face... like his life is totally dependent on her movement...

After spending restless few more hour he saw her eyelashes fluttered, her lips quivered as she was about to wake up from her deep slumber... seeing her moving slightly all three of them seems slightly agitated and sat up straight at once...

Naina had been unconscious from so many days... as she was opening her eyes, the glaring lights made it difficult for her to keep them open... just as she was about to accustom to the comforting darkness, she heard a loud click... then the room lights were switched off, replaced by a distant, dim lamp...

It was only then that she finally felt at ease to open her eyes completely... she looked at Sameer sitting closely at her one side and Preeti standing on other side with Pandit...

He weaved his fingers on her hair lovingly seeing her opening her eyes... he leaned and kissed on her forehead with misty eyes with a smile, "thank god Naina tumne aankhen kholi... kab se tumhara intzaar kar raha tha... aaj se jyaada khushi mujhe kabhi nahin mili..." she keeps looking at him without blinking her eyes but didn't utter a word...

Pandit Preeti too tried to talk with her but she didn't respond... her eyes were unfocused with no emotions... suddenly a tear dropped from the corner of her eyes... he wiped the tears asking if she is feeling pain anywhere in her body, but she didn't reply at all....

Sameer was completely taken aback by the look on her face... it's as if she's been consumed with the deepest sorrow...

Seeing her not responding on any of their talks Pandit quickly called Doctor getting worried... whereas Sameer keep talking to her, asking if she is fine but she remain silent looking nowhere....

Doctor diagnoses her and conduct some tests... later he called Sameer into his cabin... leaving Preeti with Naina, Sameer and Pandit went to consult Doctor...

Doctor reading the report confirmed, "Mr Maheshwari, it's good that she is out of coma, but I think whatever has happened with her before going into Coma is still in her mind... it left a deep impact on her mind... she is in depression and that's the reason she is not responding on anything... its clear sign of PTSD"

Shock was the understatement for them... earlier they were waiting for her to awake and now another matter to deal with... she was in pain hearing all her past and bad deeds of her fake parents, but it really affects her badly as they were suspected earlier... the betrayal she faced firstly from Sharad, then her best friend and lastly from her parents were enough for her to lose all her faith in life... that was the only reason Sameer purposely hid everything from her after knowing about her past...

छलकता है कुछ इन आँखों से रोज़..!!

कुछ प्यार के कतऱे होते है ..कुछ दर्द़ के लम्हें

Sameer asked impatiently, "so Doctor, what's the treatment for her... I mean, you should start immediately... I can't see her like this... you have to do something for her..."

Doctor assuring him, "look, PTSD is just a distressed state of mind... yes we can give her medicine and start her treatment but it's much better if she recovers without taking more medicines... I mean you know she is pregnant and excess can harm her baby also... you have to keep patience with her and try to keep her mind calm and relax... mostly people who go through traumatic events may have temporary difficulty adjusting and coping with normal life... but with time and good self-care, they usually gets better... if she has some insecurities, some doubts, you should clear it... help her to not think much on the matters which hurt her more... but try to not to force her for anything which she is not willing to do..."

Sameer assured him, "I will do my best to get her back to normal... I can do anything for her... I know she is hurt and what's bothering her more... don't worry will handle it..."

Doctor, prescribe some medicines and suggests consulting a senior Psychiatrist which Sameer denied immediately, "Doctor, I don't think she needs to visit any Psychiatrist or counsellor... I know I might be over-reacting on this but give me some time to deal with her... if nothing works than surely will look for other options as you suggested..."

Pandit agreed to him and asked, "can we take her back home... I think ghar ka mauhal uske liye better hoga... she never like to stay in hospital so might be she feels much better there..."

Doctor, "I know but she has just come out of Coma and extremely weak... I need to monitor her for few more days... if all well than you can take her back home..."

Sameer agreed reluctantly as there was no other choice left... they knew she is weak and pregnant too... they can't take risk with her health any more...

Jindagi Gujar rahi hai imtihaan ke daur se,

Ek jakhm bharta nahi aur dusra aane ki zid karta hai...

Till they came back in ward Naina was already asleep... they asked Preeti who confirmed that she tried a lot to talk with her, but she didn't respond or reply... she didn't even turn her eyes to look at her....

Pandit took Preeti out for some time to make her calm... she was completely shattered seeing Naina's condition... they all had expected her to awake, and things will get normal but not expected at all that she will be in so much depression and looks lifeless... like a dead person...

Just one word for todays's episode... how you all like Sameer's lovely talks with child... their cute bonding... 💖
