In evening Naina went to his cabin with his coffee and showing final presentation... it was quite impressive as expected... Sameer added few more points before giving a final touch and they both engrossed in deep discussion to get this complete...

Sameer sits next to her working closely, suggesting her points to be changed, when he came extremely close to her and his hand abruptly wrapped her's on mouse to show her some changes... their sudden proximity make them lost seeing each other, oblivious to their surroundings...

Time seemed to have come to a standstill right at that moment... his sudden approach caused her to panic as the hot masculine aura of him surrounded her... but the moment their eyes met, she almost forgets all her fear, pain and lost in his deep dark orbs... the warmth of his hand eased her nervousness and was making feel her safe... it was strange to feel that way especially when this feeling of safety was coming from a man who had always intimidated her...

His heart almost jumped off his rib cage feeling the heat radiated from her hand to his... as Naina tried to separate herself from his grip, his hold on her tightened giving her no chance to escape... craving to be with each other keep them remain in same position... with some mixed unknown emotions inside their hearts they keep looking at each other... totally lost... either of them doesn't want this moment to let go off...

Suddenly door opened and three pair of eyes were looking them shockingly... Kamya, Karthik and Pandit entered sighted them wholly captivated in each other... no sign of movement from either of them...

Pandit and Karthik grinned widely whereas Kamya was totally shocked with widen eyes on the scene in front of her...

Karthik said slowly, "let's go out guys... they seem very busy..." Pandit nodded happily suppressing his laughter turned to go out with Karthik but Kamya adversely moved towards Samaina before they stopped her...

Kamya keep her hand on Naina's shoulder taking her out from her daydream, "hey guys.... what's going on... I thought you were busy in work..." she said hiding her anger with a fake sarcastic smile...

Sameer Naina looked around and found all standing there giving weird looks... they both feels bit awkward and straight back to their seats looking anywhere...

Karthik said in a teasing tone, "sorry guys... we disturbed your moments... actually, Kamya came suddenly with an evening plan for dinner, so we came to call you both... are you interested to join or..." he said with a lop-sided smile to tease them...

Before Sameer or Naina rejects, Kamya said adamantly, "no ways... no one dare to change my plan today... please...it's a request..." she said changing herself in a pleasing but adamant tone...

Sameer looked at Naina's changed expression but remain silent expecting her to deny but she didn't say anything making him annoyed...

Sameer said finally, "it's okay... will leave once finished with this work... so you all please excuse us..." he turned his gaze back to screen when Kamya said, "no problem... will wait here only... promise will not disturb you..." all got stunned looking at her being so adamant to stay there... seems like she was not willing to leave Sameer and Naina alone anymore...

Sensing Sameer's anger, Pandit request, "Ms Parekh, I think you should wait in waiting area... let them complete their work in alone... and Sameer never appreciate any disturbance in his work..."

Karthik too tried to convince her knowing Sameer's anger, "ya Kamya... lets go, I will show you our office and you can try coffee in our canteen... I am sure you will like it..."

Kamya denied shamelessly and pulling a chair sits close to them, "I am fine here... you guys can go out... after all we are friends... why to do so much formality... right Naina..." seeing her so stubborn, taking a deep sigh Karthik and Pandit left outside...

Sameer fisted his clasp angrily seeing her adamancy and shameless behavior, when Naina suddenly keep her hand on his... he lifted his eyes towards her and felt a rush of calmness inside him... surprisingly just a mere soft touch of her's makes him cool down...

Naina keeping her focus back on her screen start discussing further on the project ignoring her presence in the room... Sameer also gets back his focus on final touch up... soon after spending almost an hour, they completed all discussion and close the screen with a satisfied smile on their work... they both ignored her presence completely throughout the time making her annoyed and frustrated.... they were totally lost in each other... even though if it's for work, they did efficiently...

Kamya still sitting there all lost in seeing the budding closeness between two of them... doesn't go with her system as of now...

After completing their work, Naina went out from his cabin to get freshen up and ready for the dine out... Kamya prefers to stay with Sameer but seeing Pandit and Karthik came back, she followed Naina silently going out...

Kamya giving a touch-up to her make-up, "Naina, its first time I had seen you working so dedicatedly... I must say, you are too good in all this..." she praised her professional skills...

Naina smiled genuinely, "ya.. but it seems a lot of thing which are yet to learn, and I loved to work with Mr Maheshwari... he is a great boss... a great leader..." she said all lost in her thoughts and a genuine appreciation for him...

Kamya looked at her changed expression and replied hiding her tension, "yaa... I had seen it... even I am very happy that you got the chance to work with him so closely... to be honest it will help you in future... I mean when you two got separated... you will get good job somewhere else with this experience..."

Naina suddenly replied looking down, "I don't want to think about it right now... please leave this topic for time being... we all are going out for dinner planned by you, so please don't drag all this to spoil anyone's mood..." she said politely to avoid this discussion again n again, which is of no use... which is hurting her more...

Naina realize that after a long time finally they both are in peace with each other and spending good quality time now days... even though they still argue in between but ended up on a mutual consent... he behaves rudely but really cares for her which she can feel... that was enough for the time being to live with him for rest of the months for her...

Kamya keep her hand on her shoulder, "ya... I understood... but I was just worried about you..." she still adamant to discuss more on this topic...

Before Naina replied, Preeti entered in washroom excitedly, "hey girls... what's taking so much time to get ready ..." avoiding Kamya, she turned to Naina, "tujhe aur sajane ki koi jarurat nahin hai... pehle hi itni sundar hai ki logon ki nazar tujhse nahin hatati, ab kya baahar qatl-e-aam karwana hai..." she said winking to her, indicating towards Sameer... they both laughed recalling their morning conversation that how Preeti is so much doubtful on Sameer's intentions and adamant to become a jasoos to know the reality...

Kamya fumed seeing Preeti, "what are you doing here... I heard this floor is for only CEO and his subordinates or special guests only... even guards stop me also coming here initially... I called Karthik to bring me here..." she was already disappointed when guards stop her and she need to call Karthik as Naina and Sameer were not picking up their phones... and seeing them so close in cabin on context of work, irritate her more...

Preeti giving a hard look said, "don't forget I am in HR department... I have authority to go anywhere... and well, I am Naina's friend, so I can come anytime to meet her... right Naina... ab Naina ki friend ko mr CEO thode hi na rokenge..." she said with a cute smile giving a proud look to Naina...

To avoid her more Preeti said looking at Naina, "chal jaldi se... Mr CEO is waiting for you... he personally invited me also for today's dinner with you all... he is so sweet na... I am really thankful for him..."

Naina's face suddenly brightened, "really... tu bhi chal rahi hai... I am so so so happy..." saying this she excitedly hugged her tightly... spending time with her is always be a relaxation for Naina...

Kamya said tapping on her shoulder, "yaar, tu toh mujhe bhool hi gayi... and don't forget I am the one who planned today's dinner for all of us..." she said getting irritated with Preeti's presence there and Naina's closeness with her...

Preeti rolling her eyes, said with an attitude, "but for me it's an invite from Mr CEO, so don't expect any thanks from my side... and I know the reason behind it..." she said giving a naughty look to Naina to tease her....

Kamya fumed in anger and about to reply when Naina pulled both the girls to go out to avoid any arguments whereas they both were glaring each other...

Coming out they all moved towards elevator where all three were waiting for them... Kamya told them the venue where she planned the dinner for all... no doubts it was one of Sameer's favorite dining place... she did a lot of planning to impress him and took initiative to know about his favorite dining place and food...

At parking Kamya hold Naina's hand to drag with her in her car when Sameer stops, "well, I have something to discuss with her... you guys can move on..." turning to Pandit he said, "get Ms Preeti with you in other car..." Pandit smiled blushingly and nodded...

Sameer handed his car keys to Naina saying, "will you drive for me..." she nodded, and all cars left one after other... before start, he instructed her to drive slowly, not above speed limit 40... she accepted realizing even Pandit also drives very slow for him... might be he is not fond of fast driving after his accident...

Sameer looking outside said in a cold tone, "hope you will not run away from dinner like morning..."

Naina was avoiding this discussion since morning but he brings it now... she replied slowly focusing straight on road, "sorry... I didn't mean to do it... I know it was rude, but I was just..." she lost in her words how to explain her inner turmoil...

Sameer said casually, "sometimes it's good to shout and cry for yourself... running out from problems never helps... precisely when you are not wrong..." he turned his gaze intensely on her...

He asked with a questioning look in his eyes, "or you think you had done something wrong?"

Naina realized indeed he is right... whatever Vishakha said in morning was wrong... she had never got chance and even allowed to perform any rituals or customs like a daughter in law... how would she blame her to be irresponsible... though there is no comparison of hers with Kamya but still she is part of this family and Kamya is still an outsider... at least for Vishakha and Karthik, they are not aware of their divorce agreement, so it should not matter to them...

Seeing her all lost, Sameer tapped on her shoulder slightly, "don't ever lose your focus..." he gestures her towards road when she replied smilingly with a confidence, "I understood... thanks" her sparkling eyes gives a more confident look on her face...

Seeing her genuine smile, he turned his face looking outside hiding a soft smile spread on his face too... finally, she realized...

Reaching the venue, they all moved inside... it was indeed one of the best hotels in city... Kamya asked Sameer's view for her choice but he remain quiet ignoring her, seems busy in his phone chatting with someone very seriously... Karthik and Naina praise her planning for dinner to avoid any awkwardness... whereas Pandit and Preeti were least bothered to reply her...

They took a big round table... Naina sits with Sameer followed by Preeti and Kamya... then Karthik and Pandit on other side of Sameer...

Kamya being the host took initiative and called for champagne... Sameer looked at Naina with a worried look recalling her last experience with alcohol but soon gets relaxed hearing her, "sorry Kamya... you know I don't drink... so I will be okay with fresh juice only..."

Kamya laughed, "I know... tujhe in sab ki aadat kaise hogi... you hardly visit such hotels..."

Naina keeping her tone low replied firmly, "even if I visit, I don't want to have this habit... it's wrong in all senses..." Kamya gets quiet hearing her straight answer... but someone smiled inwardly giving an appreciative look to Naina...

Preeti too denied politely thinking it is her first time with the owners of the company and she should maintain her rapport... she is also not the daily drunker, so it was fine to not to have it today... she also ordered for fresh juice with Naina...

All rest four had the drinks followed with line of discussion whereas Sameer also took only one sip for the courtesy only and leave the rest... he didn't touch the glass later even Kamya insist him so much, crashing all her hopes...

At least Preeti sitting next to her, Naina was not looking so lost... in fact most of the discussion turned out to their official matters as five of them were on same line...

Kamya finally getting frustrated said, "please yaar... ab office chhod do na... let's talk something different na... afterall I invited you all to enjoy... apni conference yahaan mat shuru karo..."

She was extremely frustrated with presence of so many people around... initially she has planned to come on dinner with Sameer and Naina only, but since guards not let her go upstairs, she has to call Karthik and invite him too... later Sameer invited Preeti and Pandit... she lost her chance to spent time in alone with Sameer...

Karthik laughed, "Kamya, it's okay... will not let you down today..." he agreed politely agreeing to her with others too...

Soon waiter came to take order for dinner when Kamya starts giving order as per their tastes... she especially order Chinese for Sameer saying, "I know aapko Chinese pasand hai na..."

Naina was looking surprisingly that till date she had never seen him having Chinese... or is it because she had never taken any initiative to know... is she really failed as a wife...

Kamya turned to waiter ordering for others and lastly said, "Indian curries are for Naina and Preeti as they both have same tastes... they don't relish other cuisines..." she indirectly tried to insult them who are not the frequent visitors of such lavish restaurant...

Karthik interrupt, "well Kamya, I also prefer for Indian curries... so order same for me also..." followed the same order by Pandit also to support Naina and Preeti... Sameer remain silent whole time busy in his mobile... ignoring what all going on around...

Kamya smiled, "it's okay... I will enjoy my favorite Chinese dishes with Sameer... we have common taste buds... right Sameer..." she said excitedly looking at him, but Sameer didn't respond keeping his gaze fixed on his mobile...

They were waiting for food when light music starts... to kill some time, Pandit asked Preeti for a dance which she agreed, and they left for floor...

Naina said excitedly, "Kamya, why are you not going... you loved dancing na..." before Kamya denied Karthik approached her, "let's go..." he holds her hand and took her along with him... reluctantly she had to followed him...

Seeing Naina watching them all dancing happily Sameer asked, "you don't like dancing..." she shook her head, "no... I never dance like this... I mean l just loved watching it..."

Sameer looked at her sharply, "really...?" making her shuddered as she doesn't want to lie but also doesn't feel like to leave him alone at table and dance with others... she loves dancing and Sameer had seen it earlier for which she is not aware...

They remain seated quietly there when Naina turned her gaze on him, "thanks..." he looked at her confusingly when she said, "I know, I behave wrongly in morning and should not left like this but thanks for understanding me... I was little distressed and went to Preeti's house... I will not do this again..."

He didn't respond keeping his eyes glued on her face, when she said, "and thanks for calling Preeti also for dinner... it will be a good change for her... she is all alone now but still managing everything..." she said eyeing to Preeti who seems happy in Pandit's company...

Though Naina was truly concerned for Preeti whereas Sameer was lost in his own thoughts, "I know you care for her, but I was concerned for you only... being with her you always look calm and happy, and I can't see you in tears... I can do anything to keep this smile on your face... even if it's with me or without me..."

Both the couples came back from dance floor disturbing their eye-lock... Pandit nudged on his elbow whisper slowly, "control bro... we are also here..." Sameer glared him to remain quiet...

Soon their dishes served when Sameer stops waiter to serve Chinese for him... he pointed towards Indian curries, "I will also have that..." he said coldly, and waiter served...

Pandit laughed, "I think Indian food is better than Chinese... Kamya you should also try some time... vaise bhi Chinese maal jyaada lamba nahin chalta..." she smiled feeling embarrassed hiding her frustration to him... she alone had Chinese whereas all others enjoyed their food having common tastes...

To not to make Kamya feel offended Naina decided to share Chinese food with her... the moment she picked up bowl to serve herself, Sameer stopped her said slowly, "you are not going to eat this..." he took the bowl from her hand and keep it back... Kamya watched this and feels more humiliated...

Dinner went well when Kamya offered to order deserts for all... Naina asked to order ice-cream for her but Sameer denied immediately, making all surprised, "no... I mean this restaurant doesn't have good quality of ice-creams... so, no one will have it... order something else..." he recalled how Naina was coughing twice and sneezed during daytime in between their discussion... can't allow to compromise on her health... all what, he doesn't know that daily Naina going out with Preeti and enjoying their ice-cream treat...

All looked him suspiciously whereas Naina make a pout... but can't oppose him knowing his anger... she winked happily to Preeti exchanging looks, planning to enjoy ice-cream later... Sameer looked at her suspiciously but didn't get what's going on between the girls...

Finishing their dinner, Sameer asked Pandit to arrange driver to drop Preeti safely at home... saying a quick bye and polite thanks to Sameer, Preeti left with Pandit... Karthik was busy on his phone, standing at a distance talking slowly...

Waiter came and handed bill to Sameer which Kamya tried to take and pay as she was the one who planned for this dinner... Sameer denied politely with an evil smile, "no Kamya... it's all my family and friends who were there at dinner except you... so it's my responsibility to pay for them... how could I allow an outsider to pay... this is not in my etiquettes..."

Kamya got stunned getting direct insult from Sameer declaring her as an outsider... for him Naina seems to be so close and his family... but why?

She replied saying slowly, "par ab toh hum bhi dost hai na aur" before she completes suddenly Naina starts coughing badly...

Sameer completely avoid Kamya's words, turned his full attention on Naina scolding her slowly, "and you want to have Ice-cream... how could you be so careless always..." he handed her a bottle to have some water rubbing her back concernedly asking more, "you fine... if you want, we can go to doctor..."

Naina remain silent taking few sips and shook her head replied softly "no... I am fine..." Sameer took a relaxed sigh seeing her all fine but Kamya was in shock... she understood Sameer's intentions to stop all to have Ice-cream in restaurant... he looks extremely worried for Naina, about her health... but why so much...

Soon Pandit and Karthik came back, and all left towards the parking area... Kamya again tried to get Naina with her not allowing her to leave alone with Sameer but seeing his adamancy drop the idea...

She offered politely, "then why not I also join you in your car... I mean, I don't want to get bored... isi bahane Naina se baat karne ka mauka bhi mil jayega..." all looked at her amusingly as since evening how she is behaving strangely and shamelessly adamant to stick to Naina... not leaving her alone with Sameer...

Pandit suppressing his anger, said to tease her, "Ms Parekh aap Naina se har waqt glue ki tarah chipak kar kyun rehna chahti ho... I mean ab aapko samajhna chahiye ki newly wed couple to thodi privacy deni chahiye... isn't it called rude in your manners book..." he pointed sarcastically how she misbehave with her at dining table in morning...

Out of courtesy, Karthik offered, "right Kamya, I agree with Pandit... let them go together... anyways it's too late so you can come with me... it's not safe for you to drive alone so my driver will get your car..."

Seeing no option, Kamya left with Karthik followed by Sameer with Naina and Pandit in another car, feeling defeated on her complete flopped plan to spend time alone with Sameer... she shifted to their house to get some chance in alone but every time either he himself didn't allowed her or Naina interrupt her to go close to him...

The moment they hit the road Naina closed her eyes getting extremely tired and dozed off in a minute... being pregnant now days she gets used too off sleeping fast...

Sameer put her head softly on his shoulder, holding her from shoulder in a side hug... he gestures Pandit to drive slowly...  

Pandit smiled replying, "don't worry..." he really cares for her like an elder brother and can go to any extent for his friend and sister...

Since morning seeing her in tears, Sameer wants to talk with her, assuring his support but didn't get chance but finally he succeeded to get the confident smile back on her face and she accept his advice whole heartedly... he loves her and will always be there to support her but wants her to take stand for herself... tucking the loose strands flowing freely, he gave a soft peck on her head clutching her in his arms, seeing her so comfortable with him...
