"I Love You"... three magical words, jo na aaj tak maine kisi se kahe aur na kabhi kisi aur ne mujhse, kyunki maine kisi ko itna haq hi nahin diya sivaay mere apno ke, mere Nanu aur meri Maa... lekin aaj finally itane intzaar ke baad maine apne dil ki baat apne pyaar, apni Naina se kahi... jab hum saath the toh mein hamesha intzaar karta raha sahi mauke ka jab mein apni Naina se apne dil ki baat kahunga, lekin mein kitna galat tha... sahi waqt ke intzaar mein maine apni zindagi ke anmol palon ko kho diya... kyunki kehte hai na ki sahi baat kehne ke liye har waqt sahi hota hai... agar hamari feelings sachchi hai toh waqt aur kismat jaroor hamara saath deti hai.

Lekin aaj maine na waqt, na mauka, na ek proper proposal, kisi cheej ka intzaar kiye bina apne dil ki baat apne pyaar se kah di... kitna intzaar tha iss pal ka ki jab mein yeh kahunga toh voh meri baahon mein simat kar meri zindagi ki har kami ko poora kar degi...

Bachpan se maine pyaar ko dekha hai, samjha hai kyunki mere guru, mere aadarsh, mere Nanu jo mere saath the, mujhe sahi galat samjhane ke liye... lekin pyaar ko mehsoos kiya jab pehli baar apni Naina ko jungle mein dekha... voh lamha, jisne meri zindagi badal di... mujhe ek pal mein bata diya ki pyaar ka ehsaas kya hota hai... kaisa hota hai jab aap dil se, poori shiddat se kisi se pyaar karte ho... voh pyaar jiske liye aap kisi bhi hadd tak jaane se nahin darrte... marne se bhi nahin...

Aaj itane saalon ka mera pyaar muqammal hua jab mein apne dil ki baat bina kuchh soche samjhe kah di... aur sahi bhi hai, kyunki jo soch samajh kar kiya jaaye voh pyaar nahin hota... bas ab intzaar hai us lamhe ka, jab hamare beech ki saari galatfahmiyaan dur ho jaayengi aur meri Naina poore dil se mujhe qubool karke mujhe "I Love You" kahegi... jo pyaar dil mein chhupa hai voh uske hothon par aayega... lekin shayad meri manzil abhi thodi dur hai... aur voh pyaar hi kiya jo duriyon se darr jaaye...

Sameer remains stood dumb, unable to believe how much he was waited to say these words to her and expected her beautiful smile in return. But what hurts him more is that his love, his lifeline, Naina, she is no longer believing on him.

But at one side he was relaxed knowing her reason for him to leave years back. Even if he was not at all on fault but he cannot deny that just to give her surprise, to prove his unconditional love to her, he was the one who initiate to prepare the legal adoption papers without her consent but on contrary, things turned worst against him.

Seeing Sameer quiet and not replying to her anymore, Naina feels more disheartened. She was expecting him to deny saying he never wanted to give her precious child to anyone, and everything is a misunderstanding created by someone else, but he chose to remain silent.

She pushed him back with the little strength left in her body to get away from his grip. But he refuses to let her go away and remain holding her tightly in his arms. Her closeness, her fragrance soothing his chaotic mind to get strength to handle his messy relation now.

Naina was instantly enveloped in the fragrance emanating from him, hearing his voice, clear and tinged with determination, "tumhein sach mein lagta hai ki mein apni Angel ko khud se dur karne ke baare mein soch bhi sakta hoon... jiske aane se meri zindagi mein khushiyaan aayi, mujhe tum mili, mujhe mera voh pyaar mila jiski ummid bhi maine chhod di thi, jisne mujhe meri zindagi vaapas di tumhein coma se baahar laakar... jisne mujhe ek complete family ke hone ka ehsaas dilaya... jisko baahon mein lene ke liye mein itne saalon se tadap raha hoon... usey mein khud se dur karne ke baare mein soch bhi nahin sakta tha... kya tumhein mujh par itna bhi bharosa nahin tha..."

His questions messing up with her emotions, her anger, which she kept for him so long. She felt imprisoned and vulnerable to reply. She loves him earlier, today and will forever, but did she really trust him enough?

Seeing her still so quiet and lost in her thoughts, loosen his grip on her waist he retreated himself away from her, leaving her alone in the living hall standing... taking hasty steps towards his room he took out a file from his bag.

Reading the content inside he smiled mocking, "aaj pehli baar apne pyaar ka izhaar kiya lekin uske liye bhi suboot dena pad raha hai... lekin vada hai khud se ki aaj mein hamare beech ki saari galatfahmiyaan mita dunga... tumhein mere paas vaapas aana hi hoga... ab ek bhi pal aur mein hamare beech ki yeh duriyaan sah nahin sakta..."

He came out from room seeing her still standing at middle of the room all in daze... he took her hand and placed the file in her palms, but she remains stood motionless keep staring him with her teary eyes.

Seeing her not responding taking a deep sigh he opened the file and show the content to her making her more shocked, "it's true ki maine adoption papers banwaye the, lekin isliye nahin ki mein apni Angel ko hamari zindagi se dur karna chahta tha... maine papers sirf isliye banwaye the kyunki mein usey poori tarah se apni zindagi mein apnana chahta tha... legally adopt kar ke..." saying this he pulled her hand keeping the papers in her hand wherein its written clearly that the unborn child will be the sole heir of Sameer Maheshwari in future.

Shock was an understatement for Naina, unable to believe on what she was seeing... she looks down holding both adoption papers in her each hand feeling daze... her vision got blurry as unable to believe how her life got twisted with just a mere exchange of words. She felt a sense of relief knowing the truth but suddenly feels like to jump into giant fire pit of guilt.

Sameer keeping his finger on her chin make her look at him, "I know yeh sab ajeeb tha lekin I was all willing to explain you my reasons for this act... jab se hum mile the Kamya aur Mrs Maheshwari hamari khushiyon ke against thi... unhone har koshish ki humein alag karne ki aur jab se donon ek saath huyi, I was damn sure ki Kamya ne Mrs Maheshwari ko bata diya hoga ki you were pregnant before our marriage aur voh iss baat ka galat faayda utha sakti thi... voh tumhein aur Angel ko nuksaan pahunchane ke liye kisi bhi hadd tak ja sakti thi... mera accident iss baat ka saboot tha ki voh mujhse kitni nafarat karti hai aur mere against kuchh bhi kar sakti hai... mujhe kitni bhi takleef hoti mein sah leta lekin mein tumhein aur apni Angel ko ek kharonch bhi nahin aane de sakta tha..."

Taking a heavy sigh he said further, "Naina, tum jaanti ho mujhe duniya ki parwaah nahin, naa hi maine kabhi kisi se darr kar koi decision liya hai, lekin mein hamari Angel ko iss duniya mein aane se pehle ek secure future dena chahta tha... mein nahin chahta tha ki kisi ko mauka mile mere aur Angel ke rishtey par ungli uthane ka... maana hamara khoon ka rishta nahin lekin maine sachche dil se usey apna maana tha... bilkul Nanu ki tarah jinhone khud apne bete ke hote huye bhi mujhe apna legally vaaris banaya taaki mera future secure rahe..."

His grip tightens on her shoulders, fixing his eyes on those dark orbs, which were his world right now, "mein duniya ko nahin, sirf aur sirf tumhein vishwas dilana chahta tha ki meri zindagi mein tum aur Angel kitne maayne rakhte ho... maine hamesha tumhari aankhon mein ek baicheni, ek uljhan si dekhi thi kyunki maine kabhi khul kar tumse Angel ke baare mein baat nahin ki... tumhein nahin bata saka ki tum donon hi meri zindagi ho jiske bina mein adhura tha... socha tha uss din party mein pehli baar tumhein tumhari asli pehchaan dunga as Mrs Naina Sameer Maheshwari... jo shaadi saari duniya se chhup kar huyi thi usey saari duniya ke saamne apnana chahta tha..."

A soft chuckle escape from his lips, "suna tha shaadi ke waqt dulha apni dulhan ko koi tohfa deta hai, unki nayi shuruaat ke liye, unhein aur kareeb lane ke liye... maana hamari shuruaat galat thi lekin mein hamare rishtey ki ek nayi shuruaat karna chahta tha, tumhein har voh Khushi, voh haq dena chahta tha jiski tum haqdaar thi... bohot socha tumhein kya tohfa doon lekin jab se tumhein jaanane laga tha mujhe maloom tha tumhein keemti tohfo se koi lagaav nahin hai... tumhein hamesha se rishton ki parwaah karte dekha tha toh socha kyun na tumhein zindagi ka sabse beshkimti tohfa doon... hamara saath, hamara pariwaar.... tum, mein aur hamari Angel..."

"socha uss din tumhein apne pyaar ka saboot aur vishwas ke taur par yeh tohfa dunga, jisse hamare beech ki har doori mit jaaye aur tumhein mere pyaar par poora vishwas ho jaaye, lekin mein galat tha... shayad yeh pyaar, yeh saath, yeh pariwaar meri kismat mein hi nahin tha..." she stares, not knowing what to say, to only let his hands drop from her shoulder feeling failure, moving back from her.

A tear slides down Sameer's eyes, as he whispers in a broken voice, "is this how low you think of me, ki mein tumse, apni Angel ko dur karne ke liye kahunga... sirf tumhari khushiyon ke liye shuru mein maine tumhein gussa kiya, tumhein pareshaan kiya taaki tum mujhse dur jaakar khush rah sako... lekin jab tumhare pyaar ka ehsaas hua toh jaana mein kitna galat tha aur maine tumse maafi bhi maangi, lekin phir bhi tumne mere baare mein itna galat socha..."

There is silence for few seconds, to only have him sigh feeling defeated and hurt.

Suddenly everything just seemed to be shatter in front of her. She was too frozen and too numb to feel anything. Her senses halting from functioning knowing the truth which had shaken her whole self. As the realization hit her hand, like a harsh big wave that knocked her off her feet.

Throughout all these years she was deeply in love with him but didn't trust him enough that he can never hurt her in this way. Each passing second has only made her regret. She regretted her decision of not trusting him enough when all those times he was only giving her happiness and love.

She couldn't look into his eyes. She didn't deserve him at all. She may have been the biggest fool to reject the love of a man who loved her like no one ever could. Stupid to not realize, he was the one she couldn't live without. All along she had everything in life, but she was a fool and blind to not notice it. It took her losing everything she once had before realizing that he loved her more than she did.

Fate plays a twisted game.

Tears swirling in her eyes before she swallowed hardly. Her vision turning blurry that she could not even have a glimpse of him. A sob escaped her lips, and it took all Sameer had to stop himself from hugging her. But he gasped when a pair of arms wrapped him warmly before eventually feeling the fabric on his chest getting wet, "I am sorry" she whispered slowly but enough for him to hear.

And like a dam that broke its wall, the impending tears finally flowed like droplet of rain by the windshield from their eyes. Sameer let her cry in his arms as he knew that all these emotions needed to be out, then only she could see the things clearly. He knew, she didn't want to hurt him anymore; she was hurt herself.

Passing a longer time not seeing her getting calm, he parted slightly and stares down at her lips repeatedly apologizing to him in a haze and his heart thuds rapidly in his chest seeing her so broken.

Naina trailed off again for umpteenth time, saying sorry, he crashes his lips on her. Moving up his hands behind her neck to deepen it. She also doesn't stop him as he captures her inside but nor does she respond, too shocked to understand anything.

He kisses her with passion, without a warning and respite. To only feel her not responding, he stills, moving back from her to only feel her lips move finally, as she returns his kiss with equal passion. As her lips merged with Sameer's, stray tears flowed down her cheeks, but she didn't stop kissing him...

Naina doesn't say anything as both breathe heavily, to only have her smile for the first time. Looking up at him with tears of happiness leaving her eyes, "I am sorry Sameer... meri ek galatfahmi ki wajah se aapne kitna dard saha... I am really sorry lekin pata nahin kaise uss waqt mein kuchh soch samajh nahin paayi aur itna galat faisla le liya... kaise bhool gayi ki jis insaan ne mujhe dusri zindagi di, mere har sukh dukh mein mera saath diya voh kabhi mujhe yun dhokha nahin de sakta tha... I am really sorry Sameer..."

Sameer smiled not giving much focused on her apology, clutching her tightly to his chest, finally feel complete again, "I missed you so much my dream girl..." he said kissing on top of her head making her smile too.

"I missed you too Sameer..." she said keeping her head on his chest hearing the most melodious rhythm of his heartbeat. They didn't realize for how long they both stood remain engulfing each other in their warm embrace.

Suddenly, pulling her attention away from Sameer and snapping back into reality, she looked at him nervously... her dark deep beautiful eyes reflect her struggle to ask... Sameer caressing her cheeks wiping tear drops from his thumb raised his brows asking, "kya hua Naina..."

She stepped away an inch fidgeting her fingers with her dupatta nervously asked, "voh Sameer... I mean voh... I know I was wrong, and you have all the rights to live your life as per your wish... but... you just said that... you... I mean..." she was at loss of word how to ask that if he is so much in love with her than why did he got married to someone else just after she left him.

Sameer somehow understood her thoughts smiled inwardly keeping a straight face asked, "kya huaa Naina... jo puchhna hai theek se kaho... mujhe kuchh samajh nahin aa raha... atleast ab aur kisi galatfahmi ki gunjayish nahin hai hamare beech... correct?"

Naina mumbled clearing her throat asking getting courage, "voh... mera matlab... aapne voh dusri... matlab dobara... you got... married?" she muttered the last word slowly squeezing her eyes shut.

Though she agreed it was all her fault but how can Sameer confess his love to her while already in a relation with someone else. She knew he is a man of his words and never betray anyone.

Sameer laughed loudly seeing her so much nervous as he was already aware that Naina is assuming him to be married to someone else... lifting her face in his palms he make her look straight into her eyes said, "yes, I am married and my wife is verrrrrry pretty... the most beautiful woman I had ever seen... and I have the most cutest and lovable child who comes like an Angel in my life..."

Naina heart thumped beating wildly as still his words are confusing her more... he smiled leaning ahead giving a tight peck on her lips, "aur uski jheel si aankhen bilkul uske naam ki tarah hai... jise ek baar jungle mein dance karte huye dekh kar hi mere dil ne maan liya tha ki agar meri zindagi mein koi aayega toh voh hogi sirf aur sirf... meri Naina..." he said pinching her little nose playfully.

Naina's eyes got widened on the revelation as he looked down at her with soft eyes, his thumb caressing her cheeks. To whisper while looking at her, "meri wife, meri life..."

But to clear her thoughts she asked again, "matlab aap... aapne dusri shaadi nahin... lekin uss din jab maine dekha tha toh ghar mein... voh shaadi... Nanu bhi aaye the..." she was confused how to say that she had come all along from Singapore to meet him but again went back seeing the wedding preparations.

Holding her soft hand he kept her palm on her left side of the chest, close to heart, "iska sawaal khud apne dil se puchho... kya tumhara dil maanta hai ki mein tumhein chhod kar kisi aur ke baare mein soch bhi sakta hoon... meri aankhon mein dekh kar kaho, kya tumhein lagta hai jo thoda waqt humne saath bitaya, jo pyaar bhare lamhe humne jiye voh sab ek dhokha tha... kya tumhara dil yeh manane ko taiyaar hai ki mera dil kisi aur ke liye dhadak sakta hai... tum toh bina kahe mere dil ki har baat samajh leti thi na toh kya meri aankhon mein tumhare liye pyaar ek jhuth, ek dikhawa tha... bolo Naina..." he kept his warm hand at back of her palm emitting the heat reaching to her heart...

Naina looking straight into his eyes shook her head without hesitation anymore, knowing what all he asked was true... the time, the moments they had spent together was all true, from their heart... how can she deny that his every act touched her to the core making her fall deeply in his love...

Sameer smiled clearing her doubts, "uss din Karthik bhai aur Amrita bhabhi ki shaadi ho rahi thi Maheshwari Mansion mein, jinhein aashirwaad dene ke liye Nanu bhi aashram se aaye the... voh toh aana nahin chahte the lekin meri zid ke aage unhein jhukna pada..."

Taking a deep sigh he said, "tum chahti thi na ki mein Karthik bhai ke saath apna rishta nibhaau, unhein dil se apnaau toh bas maine tumhari iss khwahish ko poora kiya... tumhare achanak yun chale jaane ke baad meri zindagi mein kisi aur Khushi ke liye koi jagah nahin rah gayi thi... bas tumse kiye waade nibha raha tha... lekin isake badle mujhe meri hi zindagi se, mere pyaar se itane saal dur rehna pada..." his voice chocked feeling the pain he tolerates all these years.

Naina got speechless feeling more guilty on her impulsive act, "matlab itane saal aap mujhe dhundh rahe the... aur mein yahaan aapse chhup kar, sabse dur chali aayi yeh soch kar ki aap apni zindagi mein aage badh chuke hai aur..." she hugged him tightly crying bitterly on her foolishness which spoils their life for so many years.

Sameer caressing her back tried to keep her calm, "shh Naina, bas... ab aur nahin... I know jo hua voh nahin hona chahiye tha lekin shayad yahi hamari kismat mein tha... hum jab se mile the kabhi koi galatfahmi, kabhi kisi ke bure iraade, aur kabhi hamara past... har baar jitna hum kareeb aaye utna hi dur hote gaye... aur phir hamara achanak yun bichhadna... lekin bas ab aur nahin saha jaati tumse yey duriyaan..." keeping his forehead on hers he whispered in his husky seductive voice...

लौट आओ वो हिस्सा लेकर जो साथ ले गए थे तुम,

इस रिश्ते का अधूरापन अब अच्छा नहीं लगता 💕

Naina lifted her face look into his eyes, "I am so sorry Sameer... I know meri galti maafi ke laayak bhi nahin lekin mein vaada karti hoon ki aaj ke baad kabhi aapse dur nahin jaaungi... jo bhi dard, takleef maine aapko di hai uske liye poori zindagi bhi maafi maangu toh shayad kam rahegi..."

He keeps his finger on her lips making her quiet... "shhh... you know that I don't like tears in your beautiful eyes..." once again engulfed her in his arms they remain stand like their life depends on this.

Too lost in each other's embrace they didn't realize, when the door is opened and someone calls them... they both turned around, to look at their little girl standing with Swati at the doorstep...

Angel came running towards them, to go still seeing their hands held together. She felt uneasy seeing her parent's eyes slightly red and puffy seems they both were crying.

Sameer pulled her in his arms instantly asking, "aap itani jaldi aa gaye... aapne enjoy kiya na..." he asked as wanted to spend some alone time with Naina. He arranged a day out for Angel with Swati, ensuring his guards should be around them for their safety.

Swati came inside with a naughty smirk on her face, "maine bohot roka isey lekin kya karun, isey apne Super handsome Papa ke saath time jo spent karna tha... voh baat alag hai ki iske Papa ko kisi aur ke saath..." she said slowly winking to the love birds who were so lost few minutes back that didn't even realize their presence at door.

Angel keeping her head on Sameer's shoulder encircle her little hands around his neck, "Papa, I miss you so much... aapka kaam finish ho gaya na office ka..." she asked feeling sad as missed him so much when he was not around since last day.

"I am sorry for leaving you baby... I promise I will never do it again..." he said kissing her forehead. The work was so urgent that he has to go out of town for one day leaving his little lovely family.

Engulfing her in his embrace, to feel like the happiest man alive on this earth. Naina joins their hug, and they feel complete, to only get a click from Swati who capture the most beautiful moment of their life.

Its first time after clearing all their differences, their doubts they were together, like a family... a happy family. But seems lots of unsaid words left behind which still needs to clear.

Naina went in kitchen knowing Sameer must have not had anything since morning. Even if he was all dashed up looking handsome when he reached school, she noticed her tiring face and a patch of darkness around his eyes. She doesn't know how he reached there but at this moment she needs to pacify him for her mistakes.

But whole time her mind drifted to her conversation with Sameer which left incomplete. But now she is sure it's all her mistake. Her impulsive action brings all these pains to them, throughout the years. If she would have been a little more attentive and thought thoroughly, their life would have been so different. But now she cannot rewind the time and change their fate, but her guilt constantly making her fear.

Would their future always be marred by some crack behind by the past?

Could he still love her like before, forgetting all her mistakes?

Would he always hold a grudge against her in some corner of his heart?

Would he always bring it up whenever they had any arguments in the future?

Would it leave a permanent unbridgeable chasm between them?

Her mind was flooded with all her wrong doings and unintentionally punishing the innocent soul. Because of her own stupidity, she took irrational decisions and let their life suffered for years.

For next few hours or so, she sat battling with her mindful, pondering if she could ever find a way to forgive herself of all her wrongdoings.
