Jungkook's POV

"Jungkook, this is Rosè."

"Rosè, this is Jungkook" Taehyung introduced us as I sat on the couch opposite Rosè. I nodded at Rosè and she gave me a small smile, her eyes trailing to my neck and her smile falters.

Was I nervous?

Yes, kinda.

Taehyung announced that I would be meeting Rosè when I woke up. I didn't know what to say at first then asked why. He said it was better if we got to know each other better. As much as I'm confused as to why was it better, I kept quiet and agreed. So here I was, about to get to know Rosè better.

Taehyung placed his hand on my shoulder and squeezed gently, assuring me. I relaxed a bit.

"So, who's gonna start first?" Taehyung asked as he sat down on the arm rest of the couch, putting an arm around me. No one spoke as silence enveloped us.

"*ahem* Well, Jungkook, I'm sure you already know me from our.... Encounters." Rosè said, fiddling with her fingers. I nodded. An awkward silence took over us. After awhile I took a deep breath.

"You were.....Lisa's-" I paused and gulped hard. Taehyung gently squeezed my shoulder again, his thumb making circles to calm me. "You were Lisa's friend?" I asked. Rosè flinched slightly.

"Best friend " She whispered.

"..... Why?" I asked. She met my eyes, knowing exactly what I meant.

"I..... I don't know." She said, avoiding my gaze. "It just happened.....and I was just... Blinded from grief and shock. I know I shouldn't have. I should've believed her. After that, I never gave a second thought on Angels until Taehyung broke down after the Masquerade. That's when I realised that....not Angels were.....bad. I regret it so much now that's she's......Gone." She whispered the last word. I didn't know what to say so I kept quiet. "When I lost Troye in the Necromancer's Lair, I really had strong hatred towards the Angels" She said.

"I'm sorry for your loss. It was unfortunately me" I said. Rosè met my eyes in a flash.

"Being used a weapon" Taehyung spoke, making sure Rosè didn't get the wrong idea.

"O-oh" Rosè said.

"Still me" I murmured. Taehyung sighed.

"Anyways, did Yoongi hyung tell you who killed Lisa?" Taehyung asked Rosè. She nodded.

"Yeah, he did. And I really can't believe a leader would do that."

"He never was our leader. He was a murderous, crazy traitor." I scowled. "And now he's dead. "

"He's dead?" Rosè asked with wide eyes.

"Yes, I killed him" Taehyung said. Rosè looked at him with raised eyebrows.

"What about the killer who.... " I trailed off not wanting to say further.

"I killed her" Rosè said. I nodded. So basically two dangerous people were dead, and hopefully there were none other. Because the last thing I need is to stress. But who else could there be.... Jin was behind it all anyways, so I believe there is really no one else.... Right?

"Jungkook" I looked up as Rosè called out to me. "Jisoo is with us.." My eyes widened.

"What?"

"Yes."

"What why?" Confusion was showering me like crazy.

"We kidnapped her, long ago. Actually Suga had her kidnapped because apparently he knew Jin was dangerous. In order to keep her safe from us as well, he kept her in the dungeons for some time, keeping her well fed and all. He told us about it yesterday. The twins are with us too, he had them kidnapped for the same reason. I hope you have nothing against our leader... " Rosè explained and I sat there with disbelief. So their leader knew?

"Oh.... No I don't. I just.... How did he know about Jin?"

"Namjoon hyung" Taehyung answered.

"You know him too?" I asked.

"Yeah"

So Namjoon hyung had been working together with Suga hyung while also keeping an eye on Jin hyung.

"Can I meet Jisoo?" I looked up at Taehyung.

"Sure" Taehyung smiled. He got up and dusted his pants. "Now that we are done getting to know each other, let's have some snacks hm?" He said as he walked away to the kitchen.

Rosè and I sat in silence, not knowing what to say. I mean we just met, we were ex enemies. This was a good idea though, at least we cleared out any misunderstandings between us. That's a big step. Now, we just need to ensure that there is no more danger. My mind drifted off to the Masquerade night, recalling something.

"You were that girl with golden black wings. Right?" I asked.

"Yeah... "

"I'm so sorry about Troye" I said, truly guilty.

"No it's fine. It wasn't your fault." She gave me a sad smile but I couldn't smile back. I looked away. I wish it was possible to bring back everyone Jin took away from us.

Time skip

We were now at their apartment. I sat on the sofa, anxious. How was I supposed to face Jisoo and the twins? I bit on my nails.

"Hey stop that" Taehyung grabbing my hand.

"Sorry-"

"Jungkook!" I looked up and saw Jisoo. My vision blurred as I stood up and walked towards her, hugging her. "Oh my god, Jungkook! I'm s-so thankful you are s-safe" Jisoo cried in my chest.

"Me too. I'm so sorry for everything. I'm sorry about Jin. And-"

"Jungkook shut up. Nothing is your fault." Jisoo backed away, looking at me with teary eyes. Her gaze shifted behind me. "Thank you for keeping him safe, Taehyung."

We both sat down on the couch, Jisoo opposite me and Taehyung. Rosè sitting on the arm rest of the couch Jisoo was seated on.

"So... How are the others?" Jisoo asked. I knew she knew how things were back at our place.

"Not how it used to be." I replied. Jisoo nodded. "Elizabeth has been admitted in a mental hospital. She has shown signs of recovery but she is not the same anymore. Hobi hyung... Has lost his mind completely. Soyeon and Baekhyun are looking after him."

"I see."

"How are Ferdinand and Fae?" Jisoo met my eyes and nodded towards the room she was staying in. I got up and walked towards the door of the room. I turned the knob and entered. I saw Fae sitting on the floor beside the bed while Ferdinand was standing by the window. He looked towards me and his eyes widened.

"Jungkook... " I smiled. I walked towards Fae and knelt down beside her.

"Hey Fae....how are you?" I asked. Fae kept quiet. I knew she was heartbroken. "Fae, I'm really sorry about Chou and Lisa. You know, everyday Lisa would worry about you, trying her best to reach you somehow, to bring you back. Well back then we didn't know you were in safe hands. I know it's really hard for you. And I'm really sorry I couldn't save them..." I finished, guilt eating me whole. I heard sniffling. I looked at Fae, tears were rolling down her cheeks.

"Fae..."

"I m-miss them s-so much" She sobbed out and wrapped her arms around my neck, crying on my shoulder. I wrapped my arms around her, patting her head.

"I know, everyone does." After a while, Fae calmed down, breaking apart from the hug. She wiped her tears. Ferdinand came and sat down beside her.

"I feel so guilty" Fae said. 

"Why?" I asked.

"I couldn't predict the future. I could've saved them both but I couldn't see the future. I don't know why... "

"Its okay Fae. Don't blame yourself. Neither Chou nor Lisa would want that. Alright?" Fae nodded. "What's done is done now, we can't change that. Right now, we have to work hard to prevent each other from harm. " I said. "You guys should get ready to go back."

"No" Fae abruptly said.

"Why not?" I asked, confusion washing over me.

"It's not safe.... Not yet"

"Why.... What happened?"

"I heard their leader. There's someone out there. One more. the strongest. The one behind all of this." My breathing fastened as it hit me. The Night Father. Damn it.

"So you are Jeon Jungkook" I looked up to see a short guy with milky white skin and dark hair and an expression radiating hatred leaning against the wall. His eyes were red. "You would wanna watch out from me. "

hello! Hello! I am actually alive! Yesssss....

How's quarantine going?

Don't ask from me though. I still have five exams left :'D

That aside, I am finally back with a boring chapter. Sorry everyone. It will hopefully get back on track properly soon.

Let's finish this as quickly as possible and get on other stories!
