Jenifer's POV

"Where are you going?" Rosè asked.

"To see my sister" I said in a low voice.

"Oh.... Do you need me to come?"

"No, it's alright. I'll be fine" I smiled at her. She nodded and gave me a hug.

"Stay safe" She whispered. I nodded too then took flight.

It was somewhere around here....

I looked around in the forest from above.

There was a river.......Oh! There it is

I spotted a small cottage, which had a river on its right side. However the cottage was heavily protected. Thick, thorny vines had grown around the cottage to form a wall.

I landed in front of the cottage.

Alright, just sneak in. Look for Chou. Simple hi and bye. And you are done.

My eyes landed on the door and windows and my heart skipped a beat.

Elizabeth's not home.

My eyes widened. That means.

I could....... I can take Chou with me.... Right?

I bit my lower lip. But is it the right choice?

What if Chou doesn't want to....

I stood staring at the door longingly.

*Swoosh*

My eyes widened as I heard the blade stab the tree behind me, cutting off a few flicks from my hair.

"I was expecting you at some point after all" Elizabeth emerged from behind the wall of the vines.

She can't use blades...

I frowned.

Someone else is here

I became alert of my surroundings while focusing on Elizabeth.

"Lizzy "

"JenJen " She raised her head, looking me down with a toothy grin. "Welcome home. Been wondering when you'd pay a visit" I scowled.

"I'm not here to see you "

"How sad. I'm heartbroken." She made a sad face, mocking me.

"Where's Chou?"

"Why? It's not like I'll let you talk to her, let alone see her"

"She's my sister" She laughed.

"How funny, you care so much for your adopted sister but not for your biological sister."

"She's not an Angel "

"Well she chose to stay with me. Have you forgotten?" I felt a pang in my heart. She walked closer to me. "Jenifer, I'm not letting you do anything until we've battled. I've waited for so long after all. Won't you fulfill your sister's wish?"

"You are cheating" I raised an eyebrow.

"Actually I'm not. Soyeon is always here, to protect Chou when I'm not. It happened so I was returning when she caught you here."

"Why is she hiding? "

"I said she's protecting Chou. Are you deaf?" She scoffed. "And she won't be interfering. I don't want Chou to be worried. Besides I'm a fair player. So what you say? A sister battle? " I considered the decision. After some time of thinking, I finally decided.

"What's the prize?"

"Now we are talking." She smirked. "Simple, I win, you never get to see her, you win, I never get to see her" My eyes widened.

"Why the risk?" Elizabeth smirked again.

"Dear sister, it's because I know you won't be going home a winner"

In the blink of an eye, I was swallowed by a tornado. Not just a tornado, a leaf tornado. The leaves left cuts all over my face and hands.

I covered my face with my arms, trying to keep my eyes open. I leaned down, getting ready to take off with a head start. My eyes turned red and a red glow surrounded me as I absorbed energy. As I decided it was enough, I unleashed the energy and went shooting upwards.

I conjured two daggers and threw them at Elizabeth. The daggers went through her and her body faded into the air. My eyes widened.

"YOU FUCKING CHEATER!" I yelled out of anger. There were more of them. She lied to me. "COME OUT FUCKER! THIS IS BETWEEN YOU AND ME! DON'T INVOLVE OTHERS" I yelled so everyone would hear me.

"No need to yell dammit." I looked down to see her leaning against the ivy wall. I threw a dagger at her. She escaped it on time, though it sliced her sleeve. "I'm real"

"I wouldn't trust you after you did that " I said as I slowly landed.

"It was me from the start. I just replaced myself when you were stuck in the tornado. " She smiled. "To see how serious you are". I scowled. She swiped her hand and leaves came shooting towards me. I jumped away from them and breathed hard. I felt exhausted suddenly.

" Look at you. Already tired?" She said. "You shouldn't have used all your energy to escape the tornado" She grinned.

Shit

She did it in order to slow me down.

"You can't do much now. Let alone conjure a demon shadow and maybe even a dagger. Because you'll collapse from lack of energy and..... Well we don't want that right? " She snapped her fingers and roots wrapped themselves around my legs. I couldn't even budge. She walked towards me as I desperately tried to conjure anything. This caused me to feel more exhausted.

"Sheesh. Don't drain yourself, JenJen"

"Don't call me that" I spat.

"But I want to" She suddenly punched me hard in my stomach making me lean forward from the impact. I spat out blood and panted. She was close to me. This was my chance. It would drain me completely but at least I'll be able to make her stop. "It'd be a pity to kill you so soon." She smirked. "We should save-" I quickly conjured the unholy rope and threw it on her. she screamed and backed away.

Now I just need to get out

"You think you are clever?" I looked up to see a fuming Elizabeth. Her eyes turned blue and the rope was swallowed by a green light. Soon it disappeared and the unholy rope had changed colors to blue. "How do you like the new rope? " My eyes widened. How..

Shit. Shit. No. She turned it into a holy rope.

"A big thank you for making things easier, sis" She chuckled. She came towards me.

"N-no stop" She halted just before me and raised the rope with a smile.

25 minutes later

I was lying on the floor, my body throbbing with pain. I couldn't move. My arms, waist, legs, shoulders and neck were covered in deep gashes from the rope. My breathing was ragged and heavy.

I lost

After Elizabeth was satisfied with her torture session, she grabbed me and left me deep in the forest, away from her cottage. She told me to never even think about coming back.

Chou

I whimpered as tears rolled down my cheeks.

I won't be going home a winner.
