Suga's POV

"Oppa, can we go have some ice cream?" Yael asked me. I chuckled.

"But you had it yesterday"

"Please"  She gave me her puppy eyes that I couldn't say no to.

"Fine. Let's go" I said as I stood from my piano on which I was practising a song I had written.

"Yay! I love you Oppa! " She exclaimed as she pecked my cheek and ran to get ready. I smiled.

We walked to the ice cream parlour that Yael loves. I got her favourite red velvet ice cream topped with small marshmallows as I got mint and chocolate chip for myself.

"Let's go to the park! " She said as she dragged me towards it. We sat down on a bench. "This is the best ice cream ever" She said as closed her eyes, savouring the flavour.

"Can I have a taste of it?" I asked.

"Sure" She said as she pushed her hand towards me for me to take it.

"Thanks" I grabbed her wrist and pulled her close, catching her lips with mine. It was a gentle kiss. It tasted like mint and red velvet. We pulled apart and stared at each other. Her blonde hair swaying from the light breeze.

"That was delicious" I said,  not breaking eye contact. She smiled and kissed my nose.

"Of course it was" She continued to eat her ice cream and I chuckled.

Yael doesn't knows I'm a demon. I wanted to tell her but I didn't want to risk it. I was planning to tell her one day though but not yet.

"I'll go throw the cups away, you wait here" She said as she got up.

She disappeared as she went to throw the cups away. I waited patiently, thinking what to do for our one year anniversary tomorrow.

I heard footsteps and looked up to find Yael. Or was it.

I started to get up when she abruptly stopped me.

"Don't. Move" She said as she held a knife in her hand. What's going on?

"What is it Yael?" I said as I frowned.

"I know what you are" My eyes widened.

"Wh-what?.. " My heart thudded.

"I know you are a demon."

"Yael I-" I said as I got up when she cut me off.

"I said don't move! Or I'll call the cops. Which I will"

"Y-you can't do that"  I said.

"Yes I can. I can't believe I fell in love with a monster" Her words hit me like a dagger.

"Y-yael.... it's not like that"

"Oh please! You all are selfish, heartless monsters!"

Why...

"No.. Stop" I said as I fell on my knees.

"I'll make sure to get this world clean of your filth"

"Shut up" I squeezed my eyes shut.

"SHUT UP" I yelled as I grabbed my head.

*thud*

I looked up to find Yael on the ground just in front of me. I looked at her hands. Empty. How...Wait.... No! The Yael with the knife was an illusion.

My eyes trailed to her chests and my eyes widened.

"YAEL" I quickly grabbed her in my arms. "No.. "

There was red shard in her chest. I looked around to find red shards fallen all around me. They....were mine.

"Yoongi" She croaked. I quickly took the red shard out and pressed her wound to stop the blood.

"Yael... I-I'm sorry" I cracked as tears rolled down my cheeks.

"Don't"

"I didn't tell you sooner.... I'm... I'm a demon..."

"Yoongi. I don't care what you *inhale* are. I would accept you as demon. As a vampire. A werewolf. I wouldn't care"

"Yael... " Fresh tears rolled down. "This is all my fault. I did this to you" I sobbed.

"Look at me" She cupped my cheek with one cheek. I looked at her and she gave a weak smile. "It's not your fault. It was *inhale* a mistake. Don't blame your self"

Her breathing was becoming harder.

"Please. Tell me one last time"

"I- *sob* I love you" The smile she gave me was the last as her arm fell limp. "Fuck....No! YAEL"  I sobbed as I hugged her limp body.

I killed her.

It's all my fault

I was standing in front of Yael's favourite ice cream parlour as I recalled everything.

I walked in and towards the counter.

"Aah Yoongi! How are you? Long time no see" The girl on the counter exclaimed.

"Yeah. Been busy" I said with a small smile.

"Where's Yael Unnie?" She asked with a frown. I swallowed.

"In heaven" I said.

"I...I'm so sorry." She said as she looked down.

"Don't be. It's okay."

"What would you like today?"

"Red velvet with marshmallows." She smiled a sad smile. She nodded as she went to get my ice cream. She came back and handed me my cup. "Thank you"

"I'll miss her..." She whispered.

"Yeah.. " I said as I looked at the girl. "Well I should get going."

"Well. Have a nice day. Do come back again." I smiled.

"I will"

I walked out of the parlour and went to the park and sat down on the bench. I took a bite of my ice cream. I sighed as guilt washed over me. I set the cup aside and leaned on my knees.

"I'm gonna bring you back. Just wait"
