Jungkook's POV

"Hyung I think it was a vampire because only vampires are not affected by Soyeon's melody" I said to Jin hyung who was resting chin on his palm. He sighed and leaned back in his chair.

"Well that's not good then" He nibbled his lower lip. "If it was a vampire, then it means that either they are gathering them or they are just greater in number here."

"I think it's their population." Hobi hyung said. He was staring at his laptop, doing research. "The vampires would obviously want to live somewhere where it's less sunny which is here."

"I guess you are right then" I raised an eyebrow, making sure he didn't notice.

Since when did hyung become so... Like, he doesn't think stuff out anymore. I glanced at Hobi hyung and he gave me a light shrug. I guess it's Jisoo.

I squirmed in my seat as I felt a slight uneasiness.

"We need to find out who the vampire was" Jin hyung said.

"Well...We can ask Soyeon for the details. We know it was a girl and we can ask Soyeon if she saw anything else usefull regarding the vampire." I said. Hyung nodded.

"Well, you can get to that" He said. "Hobi" He stared at Hobi hyung as he stared back.

"...What?" He asked. Jin hyung blinked.

"Oh...I was thinking what to assign you" He said as cleared his throat. "We still have two places left to discover. The dungeons I mean. I'd rather you check them out both today but it's upto you but make sure it's done before Monday." Hobi hyung nodded.

"Where are the places?"

"One is near the Bleak Lake and the other is just beside the Necromancers lair. I believe you would need Soyeon in both cases. Jungkook, why don't you go ask her now so that Hoseok can get to work. " Jin hyung said.

"Alright"

Time skip

"The vampire was a girl. " Soyeon said as she sipped from her frappe.

"Yeah, that we know. Did you see anything else, regarding her? "

"She had long straight hair and I am sure they were black. "

"Okay... You said she disappeared right?" She nodded. "Then that can only mean she has the ability of teleportation." I said.

"....I'm not sure about that" She said as she set her frappe down.

"Why?"

"I remember hearing heels clicking after she disappeared...She must have the ability of invisibility"

"Well...I guess. Well is that all?"

"She smelled like alcohol. And she was wearing a fitted, small dress. Like she seemed to have been clubbing before she came. "

"I guess we could start looking in clubs for her." Soyeon nodded. "Well I should going then." I said as I got up. "Coming?"

"I'm meeting up with a friend. You go ahead. "

"Okay. Oh by the way. You need to go with Hobi hyung on a small mission tonight and tomorrow. "

"I'll be there"

"Alright see you" I said as I walked out of the coffee shop.

Next day

Jisoo's POV

Not that I expected them to treat me nicely, but it was still worse than I thought it'd be. Disgusting food and water which sometimes made me gag. Insects everywhere in the cell, there was that rotten smell of meat which I assumed was human body, the walls were damp and had fungus and one wall had blood splattered on it. The bed roll was very thin and stank. The smell in the cell was sometimes unbearable. There was only one window and it was the only source from which I got fresh air. It was pretty small.

My kidnappers had not brought me out of the cell yet. I was leaning against the wall to which I was chained. I was looking at the window, wondering how to send for help or how could I escape. A bird came and sat on the window. I stared at it for awhile. I could ask for its help.

"Hey there" I said. The bird tilted its head towards me, studying me. It took a tiny jump towards me. "Can you help me? " The bird flapped its wings and chirped. I smiled. "Thank you. I--" Before I could continue, the bird was lying dead on the window, a tiny red shard stuck in its chest.

The thing that shocked me wasn't how it all happened so suddenly, but that it died. I shivered as I looked at its dead body, tears welling up in my eyes.

"Now now. You got no help coming nor you gonna escape anyhow. Give up. You are hopeless." Said a voice outside my cell. I hugged my knees closer to me, still staring at the innocent bird.

I was indeed hopeless.

Jungkook's POV

I was walking towards Taehyung's house. I had gotten free earlier than I thought I would've. I decided to surprise him so now I was headed there. Nothing new.

The night was good. A light breeze blew, the moon shined bright, the crickets chirping happily. Everything seemed nice.

But my guts didn't. I had this uneasy feeling since morning. My sixth sense told me I was in for a bad night.

I pushed that thought away, wanting to have a peaceful night. I was pretty exhausted. The whole day I've been going to clubs with Baekhyun, searching for that vampire. It was obviously not gonna be so easy.

I looked up at the full moon. I might wanna get home early if I don't want to run into a werewolf. I hear howls from afar. Well, gotta make it quick.

His house came in sight as I turned in his street. I muttered a Finally under my breath as I sped up. I reached his tiny gate and pushed it open, walking towards his door. I got my spare key and quietly unlocked the door. I carefully opened it and peeked in. The lounge was empty. I stepped in and closed the door. The lights were off. Was he home?

I walked towards his bedroom, I could see light from the slightly ajar door. Well he is home. I peeked in. Empty. I looked towards the bathroom. I walked towards the bathroom. I could hear the shower running. I walked away and out, not wanting to ruin my little arrival surprise. As I stepped out of the bedroom, I heard the bathroom door open and close. I heard footsteps.

Well it's not a bad time. I turned around again and moved towards the door. I slightly pushed opened the door and carefully placed one foot.

I don't think I would've want to do that because I regretted it.

As I looked up, my smile faded and I stood there, paralyzed. I didn't want to believe this.

His back was towards me, his wet, blonde hair shining in the light. His beautiful, black wings hovering behind him.

A tear rolled down my eye as I opened my mouth.

"Tae...Taehyung.. " I said in a cracked voice. He stopped what he was doing. For awhile he didn't turn around. But when he did, his face was full of bewilderment.

My sixth sense wasn't wrong after all.
