Kevin stared at her in disbelief for a moment. Then, "are you stalking me?"
She laughed. "I could ask you the same question," she teased, finally opening the door and walking into the classroom with him. It was still early, and there was only one other person in the classroom, and he was asleep at his desk.
"Jacob!" Kevin yelled loudly, running over to the desk and shaking the boy by the shoulders.
The boy, Jacob, looked up at Kevin. But instead of being annoyed at being woken up, he gave Kevin the cutest smile.
"You're here early," Jacob commented. He looked past Kevin to her, and she suddenly found herself feeling shy. "Hi! I'm Jacob, nice to meet you. Are you Kevin's friend?"
"Yep!" Kevin said proudly.
"I'm Sunhee," she said, slowly walking towards the two boys. Jacob pulled out the seat next to him and she sat down. Kevin took the seat on her other side.
"You're surrounded by cute guys, meaning us," Kevin said, grinning at her. "How do you feel? You still like you-know-who?"
Sunhee sighed, hiding her face behind her hands. "Why, of all people, did you have to find out about my crush? Right away, at that." She peeked at him from between her fingers. "And before you even knew my name."
"You're too obvious," Kevin said, laughing at her. "I mean, look at you right now," he said, reaching forward and prying her hands from her face. "I didn't even say his name and you're blushing."
She felt her cheeks, confirming that she was indeed blushing. Suddenly realizing that Jacob may feel left out of their conversation, she turned to him.
"I have a crush on this guy named Mark," she explained.
"It's the rich dude I work for," Kevin added.
Jacob nodded. "Do you think he likes you back?"
"Probably," Kevin muttered.
Sunhee's eyes widened, and she looked at him in shock. "What? What do you mean 'probably'? Are you kidding? No way. We're just friends. That's all he sees me as. His best friend."
"It's pretty easy to go from friends to lovers," Kevin said, shrugging. "Someone just has to make the first move, that's all. The question is, will it be you, or him?"
"Not me," she said firmly. "I wouldn't risk ruining our friendship."
"You better hope that he's not thinking that way, or else your relationship is going nowhere," Kevin teased. Then he looked back and forth between Jacob and Sunhee. "But what are you guys doing in art history class? I thought you were majoring in music," he said, looking at Jacob. "And I don't know what your major is, but I doubt it's art," he added with a glance at Sunhee.
She leaned forward, flicking his forehead. "Dummy, this is a required course."
Kevin pouted at her, holding his forehead. "Meanie." He looked at Jacob, still pouting. "She's so mean to me!" he complained.
Jacob just laughed, shaking his head at the both of them. Sunhee noticed that more kids were slowly filing into the classroom. She looked at the clock on the wall. It was almost time for class to start.
"Did you ever find a new roommate?" Jacob asked Kevin, changing the subject.
Kevin's smile faded. "No, I didn't," he admitted. "I don't know what I'm going to do if I don't. I'll have to move in at Mark's as a live-in servant... but I really don't want to do that. I don't want to be around his rich family 24/7. No offense," he added, looking at Sunhee.
She just sighed. "Don't worry, I wouldn't either. His parents can be kind of..."
"Stuck up?" Kevin finished.
"Definitely," she said, nodding and looking at him sympathetically. "I wouldn't want to live there either. Hopefully things work out for you."
"I hope so too," he muttered. He looked like he wanted to say more, but then the teacher finally came in the room, and the lesson was starting.

Just kidding... you probably can😂 This is kind of a cliché book. But I like clichés (if they're done right) so hopefully you will too🥰
