The week went by so slowly. The only thing on my mind was Friday night. How great Friday night would be. I get to meet 2 of his close friends on Friday too which is exciting. I don't know why I'm so over the top excited about this... I hardly know the man. I geuss it's because I'm only 17 and he's an older guy like I've been looking for. Like I said before I'm not interested in these school boys. I want a taste of the real life,the good life and now I'm finally getting that. I finally get to go to an actual orchestra with someone who actually shares a common interest as I do. It's nice.

We were in art class and I could barely draw with all these throughs on my mind... All I wanted to do was write poetry. The problem is no one has ever seen one of my poems but they know I do write them. There quite personal. About my life, my thoughts and experiences. Maybe one day I'll be writing poems staring out my window in my apartment in Paris staring at the beautiful city beneath me.

"earth to Jenny." said Bethany while waving her hand in front of my face trying to wake me up.

"oh sorry." I said snapping out of my daydream and went back to painting.

"ah, thinking about friday again are we?" said Lilly with a smirk.

"yeah how can't I?" I said looking up from my paper.

"I mean I would If a rich older man was interested in me." said Bethany.

"ya me too." Lilly agreed.

"but unfortunately no man will be looking at us to until we're actually woman." said Bethany walking across the art class.

"shhhh I don't want everyone to know." I said softly to Bethany.

"ooooh a forbidden love." she joked.

Lilly giggled and I just shaked my head.

Later that day I walked home yet again hoping If I stood by the red poll long enough he might show up. But unfortunately no red sports car drove up and then I decided to continue home.

When I got home and rushed up Stairs and put on some of my favorite French music "sur les Quais du Vieux Paris" and danced around the room in possible dresses to wear on my night on this Friday. After hours and hours of pulling out every single possiblity of an outfit, I realised I didn't have anything.

I picked up my landline and called up my friends and told them tomorrow we will go shopping. They both agreed eagerly. Luckily for us tomorrow is a public holiday so there isn't school. And tomorrow is Thursday so this public holiday couldn't of come at a better time.

I still haven't told my pearents about the show or Michael. I'm terrified of my father's reaction. I'm planning to tell my mom tonight and my father just before Michael actually picks me up.

Let's hope my mother at least takes it well.

Next day

Its bright and early and I'm ready to go shopping. Now I'm not like most girls, I don't really like shopping and that's why I'm taking those two strange kids I call my friends. I pulled out some comfortable clothing and flat shoes. It's freezing outside, but when isn't it in London anyway?

I rushed downstairs and out the front door. I started to walk to Bethanys house and then we walked to lillys.

Eventually we got to the mall and they went nuts.

"ooooh what about this one? It's screams sexy!" said Bethany holding a black dress with a huge cut in the back.

"ummm noooo not for me. I don't want to scream sexy." I said putting the dress back.

"but why?" said Lilly.

"I hardly know the man, we need time, hold your horses." I said to them.

We continued to look through outfit after outfit but nothing fancied me until the last shop (ironic isn't it?)

"oooh this is a dress made for you!" Lilly said running towards it.

"ya it's not too sexy but still will make you look amazing and eye catching." they said holding a black dress that looked like it would just go over my knees and had a shimmer to it.

"I really like that one." I said holding it up against my body.

"well go try it on! What are you waiting for?" Bethany said.

I rushed to the changing room with the girls following behind.

I put the dress on and gave myself a look. I couldn't believe it was me. I look like a grown up. I walked out and showed the girls.

" oh my God. "said Bethany

I just smiled and I could feel myself blushing.

" you look like your 27!" said Lilly.

"thats the plan I geuss." I said turning around in my dress.

"thats the one!" said Bethany hugging me followed by Lilly.

"I can't wait for tomorrow!" I said.

I got out of the dress, paid for it and we had lunch at the mall. It's really nice having friends like them you know. They are so supportive and sweet, it's sad that some girls my age don't have that support.

We eventually got home at about 5pm.when I walked in I saw my mother kn the kitchen doing her things.

"hi mom." I said walking in the kitchen.

"hi darling how was it?" she asked turning towards me.

"oh it was loads of fun! We found a stunning black dress I can wear for the show." I said.

"oooh can I see?"she asked.

" sure I'll take it out Tha bag. "I said.

I pulled out the dress and held it up against my body.

" what you think? "I asked her.

" awww it's gorgeous. I absolutely love it. "she said touching it.

" that's a relief." I said giggling.

I put the dress back in tbe bag and went up stairs.
