Davi felt her stomach contort into vomiting mode. What was she supposed to do?! She had already broken Ben's heart once, no need to hurt the guy any more, but Paxton was- well Paxton. "Major sitch!" Said Davi, backpedaling over to her best friends. "Oh no, is Zoe trying to get with Paxton again! That girl needs to be taught a lesson!" Said Fabiola.

"No, I think I just double booked myself!" Davi shrieked. "Well that's not so bad, just decline one of them." Said Eleanor. "You don't understand, it's Paxton and Ben! I love Paxton but I can't ditch Ben-" "Paxton." Said both her friends.

"Are you sure? Ben seemed so upset." Said Davi. Fabiola scoffed. "He's a snot-nosed pig. Paxtons a once in a lifetime, especially for you." She said. Davi crossed her arms. "Hey! That was offensive." She said. Fabiola and Eleanor laughed.

At lunch Davi sat on Paxtons lap, savoring every moment. This was the best day ever, besides her little situation.

This was the worst day ever, thought Ben as he watched Davi cuddle into Paxton. "Ben!" Said Aneesa, plopping her bag next to his. "I was thinking we could go out for nachos today." She started talking and Ben tuned her out, Davi's eye's twinkling with happiness as she grinned at Paxton.

"Earth to Ben!" Said Aneesa. He turned towards her, feeling guilty at her worried look. "Sorry, sure." Said Ben. Aneesa's smile faltered.

"Ben!" Said Davi. She walked over to him, nervously twining her fingers together. In the background Ben could see Paxton watching them with hawk eye's. Ben felt a little better at his jealous glance.

"So about today," She started. Ben's stomach sank. He was going to cancel on him.

Davi saw Ben's expression. He looked upset, as though he knew what she was about to say. And suddenly she wasn't sure she could. "I-i'm super excited." Said Davi. Ben's face molded in surprise. "Did you know I met Lebron James? That's exciting." Said Ben, letting his cocky side take over.

Davi rolled her eye's, but her lips tugged up into a smile. "Ben?" Said Aneesa. "We have plans, remember?" The last part gave way to the edge in her voice, sharp enough to sting. "Shoot!" Said Ben, turning back to Davi. "If you're not free that's fine." Said Davi, the slightest tinge of relief in her voice. "No!" Said Ben. "Um, I mean, we can reschedule, better finish the assignment." He said, trying to cover up.

"Oh, ok." Said Davi, smiling awkwardly and walking away. Aneesa frowned, her eye's glistening. "I'm sorry, just worried about finishing." He said, although he knew that didn't sound like him. "Come on, let's go somewhere we can talk." He said, offering her his hand. As much as he wanted to sort out his conflicting feelings about Davi, he knew he had hurt Aneesa and he wanted to make it up to her.
