A/N: To keep the theme rolling, the title is taken from a lyric in Psychostick's song, Moving Day.

Emily knew instantly that Jess wasn't Rory's boyfriend. She figured it out because when she asked Rory questions about Jess, Rory had to look at Thea to get to clarify something.

Emily had been disappointed in Rory for lying to her about someone when she wasn't, but ultimately, Emily apologized for pressuring Rory into lying to her.

Thea had found it a bit hard that she and her friends weren't the ones that were harassing Dean by sending him letters.

Thea kind of hated that they had to move near the end of the school year right before college, but then she spotted the giant black eye that Dean had given Aiden and she felt nothing but hatred towards Dean all over again. It made no sense why Dean got jealous over Aiden, because Dean knew that Aiden was with Thea. And Jess had said something like, "Dude, Aiden gets laid every other night, I don't think he would want to go back."

Rory had been slightly offended, and then Dean just lashed out...

And now here they are.

Well, Rory and Lane were chatting while Thea held a plate of Neapolitan cookies.

Lane was explaining, "See, I knew once my mom found out Dave was part of a Christian trio, it was only a matter of time before she booked him to play at one of her prayer meetings."

"It's perfect," Rory said. "Now your mom's gonna get to know the whole band. All you need to do next is convince your mom to let you go to Disney World."

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves yet," Lane said. "There's still time and she still doesn't like Todd because of that whole triple date thing from two years ago. And besides, it's not just get to know them, but love them the way she loves Dave."

Rory asked, "Your mom loves Dave?"

Lane said, "She said he's a righteous young man who's proven he can be trusted around antique furniture. In her book, that's pretty close to love."

"That's the highest compliment from Mrs. Kim I've ever heard," Thea said.

"It is," Rory agreed with Thea.

Dave walked by them, holding both River and Phoenix; River in her denim jacket and Phoenix in his vest.

Zach was singing, "'A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing.'" To Brian he asked, "Dude, what's a bulwark?"

"It's the side of a ship that's above the main deck," Todd told them.

Zach looked at the sheet music, "We're singing about a ship?"

"I think it's actually a wall," Brian said.

Thea started, "Hey, guys I made these—"

That was all it took to get both Brian and Zach rushing at her, knocking over the music stands and Brian's stool while Todd looked on, stunned.

Both guys grabbed a bunch of cookies to eat.

"Hey, hey! Save some for Dave," Thea said.

Dave (still holding the two cats), Lane, and Rory came in.

"What's going on?" asked Dave. He set the two cats down, then Brian and Zach both surrounded the cats because it was Play with the Band Cats Time.

"Zach's bitching about the song," Todd said.

"It doesn't make any sense," Zach replied.

Thea started explaining to Dave, "And I made these—" Dave grabbed the remaining cookies from the plate and stuffed one in his mouth. Thea finished awkwardly, "Cookies to see what you guys think about them?"

Zach and Brain gave her a thumb's up and Dave just nodded at her.

"Okay, I guess I'll make more Neapolitan cookies then, so at least Todd could get some," Thea said.

"Make those weird blueberry cookies too, please," Brian said.

"Oh, yeah, those are good," Zach told her.

"Okay, I guess I'll make more," Thea said.

Brian asked, "And can you please bring me some coffee?"

"Sure," Thea said. She left the garage and Lane followed after her. "What's up, Lane?"

"I was wondering if you can come with me and Young Chui to the hockey game tonight," Lane said. "You can bring either Aiden or Sage or both with you."

Dean was on the hockey team and Thea would rather not go in support of the guy who punched her boyfriend in the face.

"I would've asked Rory but she's not dating anyone," Lane said. "I mean, she could be with me anyway, but I think it'll be nice if one of my friends would be there with me."

"I'll bring Sage," Thea said. "It would probably piss Dean off even more if he saw Aiden and Rory together. He might try to blacken Aiden's other eye."

"Good point," Lane said.

Miss Patty and Babette were standing in the center of the ice rink singing the National Anthem.

Sage was looking intently at Thea.

Lane asked him, "Why are you staring at her like that?"

"I'm trying to see if Thea's ears are bleeding like mine," Sage said.

"Possibly," Thea replied. So far, the only fun thing about the game so far was seeing Dean's matching black eyes that he received from Georgia and the rather large bruise on his neck from Liberty almost biting a chunk out of it.

It pleased her.

After Miss Patty and Babette were finished, there was cheering.

"I think I went blind in one eye," Sage stated.

Rory came over to stand next to Lane, "Hey."

"Rory," Lane replied.

"It's cold in here," Rory stated.

"They have to keep the ice icy," Thea stated.

"Oh, my god," Rory said. "There really is ice. Cool." She noticed something, "Where is everybody?"

"There was a monster truck show in Woodbury tonight." Lane explained, "pulls a lot of the same demographic. Sit." Rory did. Lane looked at her, "Is everything okay?"

Rory looked a bit anxious, "Everything's fine."

Lane asked, "You sure?"

"Absolutely," Rory said. "I just wanted to see Dean's last game before he moves, that's all. I feel like a bad person. Here I am, watching his game, acting like I didn't just allow the whole town to send him letters compliment-insulting him. He was even getting strange voicemails from Grandpa Straub."

Sage laughed at that.

"You had no problem sending a letter insulting that guy who strangled me," Thea said.

"That was different," Rory said. "Dean's someone that I loved once."

"Which makes the campaign all the more enjoyable," Lane said. "You know what makes him tick and all his fears."

"I don't know all his fears," Rory said. She looked at Young Chui, who was talking on his cell phone. "Is that Young Chui?"

"Yeah," Sage said. "He's talking to his girlfriend."

Rory said, "He looks kind of serious."

"I think Karen's not quite as cool as Dave is about the whole fake dating thing," Lane said. "She needs reassurance."

Rory said, "Well, Dave is pretty cool."

"The coolest, isn't it?" asked Lane.

Kirk said, "People of Stars Hollow, are you ready to rumble? Then let's get it on." The referee drops the puck to start the game. "And the puck is down as the first quarter begins. Period, sorry. First period begins, my bad."

Rory said, "So, this is sports."

"Something I don't even like," Sage replied. "The only thing I'm looking forward to is the other team shoving Dean into the wall."

"Ooh, good point," Lane replied.

During some kind of break, they stood in line at the snack stand. Young Chui had Lane talk to Karen over the phone, because apparently Karen got a bit jealous over Lane.

Lane was saying, "Believe me, I am not interested in Young Chui in that way. He's cute and all, but I've got a guy. No, no, when I say he's cute, I just mean he's your boyfriend and you've got good taste, that's all. Hey, Koreans do not have problems!" She handed the phone over to Young Chui, "You talk to her, I'm done."

Young Chui took the phone and said, "Karen?" He walked away.

"That went well," Rory replied sarcastically.

"I don't get how jealousy works sometimes," Sage replied.

Rory side-eyed him, "Says the guy who's okay with his girlfriend dating another guy."

"That's unnecessary details," Sage replied.

Rory didn't get it and looked at Thea, who just shrugged in response.

Eventually, Dave came up to them.

"Hey," Dave said. He seemed out of breath.

Lane happily said, "Dave."

"Hey, Rory, Thea, Sage," Dave greeted.

"Hey," Sage replied. He was confused, "Did you just run all the way over here?"

"Yeah," Dave replied.

"Wow," Thea replied, slightly impressed. "You're barely tired." She asked, "What grade did you get in gym?"

"A-." Dave asked, "Why?"

"It's beats Aiden's D in gym," Sage said.

Thea asked, "What's your excuse for your C+?"

"How do you get a C+ and D?" Dave said, "All you have to do is dress up, do some exercises and run around a few times?"

"Well, I got a B+," Thea replied.

"At least you have good stamina to keep up with their threesomes if what Jess says is true," Dave said.

"Don't get gross," Rory said, disgusted.

"Please refrain from talking about another girl's sex life in front of me," Lane chimed in, not looking happy.

Dave nodded, "Sorry. Won't happen again." He looked at them, "So, where's, uh, where's Young Chui?"

"Talking to Karen," Lane replied.

"Who?" asked Dave.

"His girlfriend," Rory replied.

"Oh, right. That's cool, okay," Dave said. "Well, how's the game?"

"Dean got shoved into the wall twice, but it makes up for our team losing," Sage said.

Dave asked, "And I missed it?"

"Sorry," Thea told him.

"Besides that, our fans have the best insults," Rory said. "At least, Babette does."

Dave said, "Well, that's really what counts in the end."

"So, what are you doing here?" Lane asked, Did you finish already?"

"Oh, no," Dave explained, "Your mom gave us a fifteen minute break. I just thought I'd swing by."

"Then you better get to hauling ass," Sage said. "Her house is more than a mile away."

Dave said, "Yeah, I better back." To Lane he said, "I'll see you later." He touched her shoulder.

"Bye," Lane said and Dave took off.

They turned away and Rory said, "Well, well, well. If I didn't know better, I'd say someone isn't quite as cool as we thought he was."

"What do you mean?" Lane said, "He's jealous. Oh my God, he's jealous, that's so great."

"And I think he feels pretty good knowing that he made you jealous too," Rory added.

"Just try not to turn into Dean," Thea added.

"Ooh, good point," Lane said.

Before the end of the game, Thea and Sage both took off to make out outside the school. Rory, Lane, and an awkward looking Young Chui had to find them like that.

And Thea decided to go home with Sage.

The next day, they found the Foresters packing some boxes in a moving van.

Rory asked, "Do you want any help?" She just wanted to at least make up for the few letters that she had written to Dean for punching Aiden.

"Yes, please," Dean's mother said.

Rory looked at Thea and her friends, who awkwardly shuffled in to help move some boxes or heavy furniture.

While Thea and Georgia were in the attic to take some boxes down, Lane whispered, "Do you think it's psychopathic of us to help our harassment victim's belongings?"

"Think of it as an apology," Thea told her.

Lane shrugged, "Okay."

Georgia said, "If Dave hurt you in any way, I'll happily run him out of town. No one hurts one of my pack members and gets away with it. It's what Dean deserves."

Lane smiled, "Thanks."

When they left the attic together and went outside, Dean was saying to Aiden, "I'm sorry about punching you."

Aiden gave Dean a tight-lipped smile, "It's water under the bridge." He clearly wanted to leave Dean's body under the bridge.

Dean clearly didn't know Aiden at all, because he asked, "So we cool?"

Aiden gave a fake smile, "Yeah, we're cool."

Dean clearly didn't see the 'fuck you' in Aiden's smile because he said, "That's good."

Dean turned away and Aiden stopped smiling instantly as Dean walked over to his dad to help move the couch. Aiden went over to Thea and kissed her, before whispering in her ear, "And in that moment, I swear, I never hated anyone as much as I did 'til then. And believe me, I hate my mom a hell of a lot."

Thea smiled and nodded, "Yeah, I believe you."

Aiden kissed Thea's cheek and went over to get a box from Sage. Sage allowed it and then proceeded to tickle Aiden, making him jerk in surprise.

Thea couldn't help but smile and chuckle a little at their antics, because those weirdos were hers and she was theirs.
