The next day, Mew dragged Kiet to the backyard where it was empty since it was cold outside, there I was waiting for them, we talked to him about keeping our relationship a secret and he agreed understanding our situation as a student and professor

"don't worry, I promise I won't tell anyone here"

"thanks P' Kiet, I'm worried they may start bothering Gulf" Mew said

"I understand, I would be worried about Earth too if he was my student

"thank you P' Kiet, it's only this year until I finish Mew's course"

"well you two should be careful anyway, you don't know where and when someone could be standing watching so no flirting on campus"

"we will" I said as the two professors walked away, I stood there watching the gray sky that was getting darker signaling of a coming heavy rain and thunderstorm. By the time I finished my tasks at the convenience store, it was 9 and half

"hey Gulf, you can go back today, it's already raining and we finished everything for the day" the manager came from behind

"thank you sir, I will see you tomorrow then"

"be careful on your way back!" he smiled as I went to get my back and left, I actually enjoy walking under the rain but I didn't want to get sick and trouble anyone thus I quickly ran back home, once I arrived I was welcomed by Mew who w holding a towel

"I knew it! Here dry yourself and quickly go and take a warm bath" he said as I complied

"hey Mew-I mean P' Mew can I use your laptop, I need to work on a project" he smiled nodding

"I told you, you can use anything you want"

"thank you"

"Gulf, I know you want to study right away but can we talk for a minute?" he said sitting next to me as turned facing him after turning on the laptop and logging in

"sure" he looked hesitant

"I think it's time to tell your parents about us don't you think?"

"I had a feeling that you will mention my family sooner or later... I wasn't lying when I said that they will get worried but I should tell them like you said" he looked relieved

"I thought you will get angry if I mentioned this"

"why would I? it's normal to tell those things to my parents, you see my sister already has a boyfriend and she's only 17 years old and she even introduced him to my parents and I did a fecetime chat with him too"

"so your family are open minded"

"just like yours"

"I'm glad to know that... wait do I have to do a video call with your family too?" I smiled as he looked nervous eagerly waiting for my answer

"no, I will tell them that we will visit on our break so don't worry, but you have to prepare yourself for the official meeting"

"yes, of course... well I should go to sleep now, good luck with your studies"

"good night" I watched him disappearing into the hall as I looked back to the screen and started working, the next day, after eating lunch, I messaged my mother

Honestly I was a little worried about her reaction about me dating a man but I guess she completely accepted it and was even happy about it, I hope neither my mom nor my dad get worried , I also messaged Mew and told him that I contacted my mother, now that everyone knows it's over, the only quests left are meeting Mew's best friend Boat and meeting my family during winter break.

Everything went normal for two days, but I find it weird that I wasn't contacted by my father, even my sister called me to say congratulation, maybe my father isn't as open as my mother? Maybe he didn't like the idea of me dating a man? Well no use thinking about it now, we will resolve any problems during our meeting.

Today is Saturday, since my tutoring session has been rescheduled to next Monday since the exams will start soon, I had a lot of free time until 4 pm, I woke up around 8, did the laundry, ate breakfast with Mew then we sat on the dining table, I was studying while Mew was working and would explain a few things to me when I'm stuck, my phone vibrated as I answered without even looking

"hello son"

"dad?" I was surprised making Mew look at me

"yes, it's your dad, well I'm currently at the bus station in Bangkok, come and pick me up"

"ba-ba-bangkok! You're in Bangkok?" I jumped out of my seat as Mew also stood up

"yes, I took four days off, well I'll be waiting for you" he hanged up as the two boys looked to each other speechless

"your dad came?" Mew asked

"it seem so, I have to go pick him up"

"I will take you" he said as we grabbed our coats and left, I was stunned, I never thought that he would actually come, I contacted my mother on the way and she told me that he got worried and came to check on me, when I arrived I found him sitting on a bench reading the news paper and drinking a cup of coffee

"dad?" I got closer

"oh hey Gulf, I'm so happy to see you" he stood hugging me as I hugged him back then he noticed my fake boyfriend behind me

"hello Mr. Kanawut, I'm Mew Suppasit" he nodded greeting my father as I stepped to the side he clearly looked nervous and scared, my father smiled

"oh you are my son's lover right?"

"yes sir"

"I'm glad to meet you son" they shook hands

"well it was a long trip by bus so let's go back so you can rest dad then we can have a good talk together" I said holding my fathers' bag but Mew took it from me, my father who noticed that smiled

"yeah, I'm so tired"

"please this way Mr. my car is parked close by" when we arrived, my dad was amazed by the house, I took him to the empty room and waited for him to take a bath

"dad, I will be out from 4 to 9 for work, we will talk when we get back alright?" I said as he sat on the bed, he looked to me warmly but there was a hint of sadness in his eyes as he softly grinned

"alright son, take care of yourself, I will take a small nap for now" he said laying as I closed the windows and went out of the room

"wait, you're leaving me alone with your father?! Can't you take a day off?" Mew who was so tense said as I smiled

"he won't eat you don't worry besides I can't take a day off because I already took one last week for your parents visit, my father is a simple man and easy to get along with, just be honest and straight-forward with him" the edgy man held my hand while I was trying to go out, his puppy eyes made me giggle a little

"you will be fine, oh if you are going to make him something to eat make sure to exclude onions and soy sauce, if you want a topic to talk about, ask him about thriller and detectives movies and TV series, he loves those like Criminal minds, he also likes classical music and loves talking about his childhood adventures too, so keep fighting until I get back" I held his hand and slowly took away from mine while he started pouting

"you are making fun of me now aren't you? Wait until I leave you alone with my parents"

"I don't mind since I already met them" I winked as he gave me a slight glare. When I got back I was met by some giggling, I quickly took off my shoes and got in to find my father and my fake lover talking and watching some Reality show on TV

"oh welcome back son"

"welcome back Gulf"

"I'm home" I smiled sitting next to them

"it seem you are having fun, is the show that funny?"

"not really but uncle's comments and jokes about it is the funny part"

"I see, well I'm glad you are getting along, I will go take a quick shower and come back"

"I will reheat you dinner Gulf, you must be hungry" he said standing up as my dad watched us with a tender smile

"yes I am" after cleaning the dishes, I joined them

"so dad what's with the sudden visit?" I asked

"I wanted to hurry and meet your lover, he is the first one you even dated so I got so curious about him" Mew smiled looking down

"but I told mom that we will visit during winter break"

"you know I'm not patient when it comes to family matters so once I finished yesterday work I hope in the first train"

"you never change"

"never will, I'm glad that I met you son, I was a little worried but after seeing you and talking to you I find that you are a great man"

"thank you uncle, I promise I will take care of Gulf, support him and always make him happy" Mew said seriously sitting straight as my father nodded patting on his shoulder

"I was concerned when you didn't contact me at all, I thought you didn't like it me dating a man" I said as he looked to me

"why wouldn't I like it? If you really love and are happy with that person I don't care who he or she is" I smiled, I'm so glad that my parents are sp open and supportive.

"should we go somewhere tomorrow?" Mew suggested

"well my shift start at 4 pm like today, but we can have fun all morning" I said

"I'm sorry Gulf" my father suddenly apologized

"you had to work since high school because of our family situation, you never had time to rest and have fun like other kids, I should be the one working day and night and help you until you finish your studies" he looked depressed

"it's fine dad, working taught me so many things, I also learned how to be responsible and make good decision about my life, just keep taking care of my little sister, I'm a man and something like this is nothing" a faint sad smile formed on his face

"you never enjoyed your childhood and didn't get to do or get what you want all your life so now that you are dating I hope that you are happier and having fun"

"believe me, since I started living here, everyday is fun and enjoying myself a lot so stop worrying about me alright?" he smiled emotionally patting on my shoulder, Mew was also smiling.

The next day my father asked us to take him to the shopping mall, he promised to buy my sister a new sneakers since she joined tennis club, he also wanted to buy something to my mother, I also took the chance to buy them gifts too, since I stopped paying the rent, I managed to save a lot of money, but I still needed a little bit more to be able to buy a laptop.

"what's wrong Gulf?" Mew asked during lunch while my father went to the restroom

"if only I had more money I could buy a laptop for my sister now and send it to her with my dad"

"I can buy it for you"

" you don't I don't like-"

"I didn't mean it like that, I will buy it now and then you can pay me back little by little" well it's a good idea

"won't it be trouble for you?"

"of course not, you can also buy a laptop for yourself first then pay me back, It's better this way and I can wait for you unlike those in shops"

"thanks P' Mew, you are really kind, I owe you a lot"

"please don't mention it, you also helped me a lot" I took my father and bought the pc, my father looked super happy since my sister was waiting for it, by night before going to sleep

"when are you leaving dad?"

"my train is five in the morning, I will take a cab from here earlier"

"no way uncle, I will drive you there" Mew said

"I don't want to trouble you besides you have work"

"my lectures starts at 9 am so it's fine" they smiled

"thanks son and you can just call me father, you are a part of the family now"

"thank you father for accepting me"

"seeing you too like this makes me wish that you stay together for a long time" me and Mew looked to each other feeling a bit guilty after seeing my father genuine smile

"I hope so father" Mew said smiling holding my hand, his touch calmed me since I was feeling down about lying to my parents who are really happy for me.

"I feel bad for lying to my parents" I said facing Mew on the bed, we have been sleeping together since my father came

"believe me, I'm feeling so bad about it too, but seeing them happy for us is what keeps encouraging me, besides we didn't entirely lie, we do get along well and we understand each other too, we started as complete strangers but we somehow got closer and are really happy living together, aren't you?" he asked curious

"I am, I've been really enjoying my life and having fun since I started living with you"

"see? So it's fine if we hide the fact that we are fake lovers, the only missing part is love, everything else is real" I smirked happily agreeing with him.

That's right, only one part is missing in our relationship... Love.
