Gulf's POV

The next day, I spend the morning unpacking my things, I was amazed when I got into this condo, not only it's big but it's all clean and well decorated, it has a living room with a black rectangle table for six people, not far is a little large open kitchen fully equipped, on the other side is a hall that leads to three bedrooms and a big bathroom that has both a shower and a bathtub, Mew's bedroom was in the middle down the hall while mine is on the right facing another empty one, the bathroom is facing Mew's bedroom on the other side.

Not only that, but I found that my room has everything, a comfortable bed, a desk a large closet, my clothes and all my things didn't even fill half of it, a natural hanged painting by the head of the bed and a small balcony where I can see a close park, there is also a big balcony by the living room where the washing machine is and where I can hang the laundry and it can be covered too when it rains.

I feel so out of place, like the story of the poor boy who changed places with the prince since they look alike and started living a luxurious life, being here makes me so conscious of the difference between our lives, I'm still not sure about living here but I can't go back on my word now especially after meeting his parents yesterday, I felt so guilty that I almost told the truth, they treated me so nicely and tenderly, they were so happy for their son.

I know it's wrong but what can I do? It was my only choice, if I didn't accept I would have really dropped out and even went back to Chiang-mai to find a job there, I don't want to worry my family, they are already struggling enough, that's why I will work hard to support them.

First, I need to do some extra work to buy a new laptop for me and one for my sister, I know how much it's necessary to have one during high school nowadays, I'm lucky that the course I chose is set on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning, well my studying time will become by night but I can deal with that for a year.

When I glanced to my alarm clock, it was half past 9, I need to start getting to my part-time then I will search for another one before coming back, when I stepped out of the room, I saw my fake boyfriend sitting in the balcony reading a book, he looked like he was enjoying a private time so I quietly wore my sneakers and left.

Mew's POV

When I opened my eyes, I felt so relaxed for the first time in years, my parents won't surely come today and no messages about blind dates anymore, this is the life that I wanted. I slowly walked past the hall hearing some noises coming from Gulf's room, 'he must be unpacking' I thought heading to the kitchen to make my usual cup of fresh juice, since the weather was warm I sat in the balcony and stared reading a novel, sipping slowly my juice, I was so focused that didn't even notice that my fake boyfriend had already went out.

After preparing lunch, I sat eating and reading the news and checking my tweeter account on my phone then I sat listening to music while arranging the papers for the lessons for the students who applied for my course as their extra one, after finishing, I sat continuing a thriller drama I started last Sunday on TV.

This is the ideal life I was whishing for, silence and peacefulness, I enjoyed every minute of today, my paradise day went perfectly as I hoped for, even that student didn't come back and never disturbed me once, even my phone didn't ring at all, I reached to hold it but I couldn't find it

'oh I left it on my desk earlier' I thought heading to my room, I soon as I took it, it vibrated in my hand, of course, the only person who is left to disturb me on this day is my best friend Boat, I totally forgot to notify him about getting a lover, I went back to the living room and sat chatting with him

Around 9 pm, I heard the front door opening and closing, a tall boy entered into the living room looking exhausted, he sat on a chair resting leaning back and closing his eyes

"do you always come back this late?" I asked looking to him

"on a week day, I work until 11 pm but on weekends I finish by 5 pm, just today I had to go search for another part-time"

"I know it's necessary for you but don't overwork yourself"

"I'm used to it, I have to endure this for less than two years and this life will be over"

"you are a hard working optimistic person, you really will have a bright future"

"that's what I hope for"

"btw, I told my best friend about you earlier, he said he will visit when he come back to Bangkok, the one I showed you his picture yesterday"

"P' Boat right?"

"yes, well let's get along Gulf and at least become good friends"

"sure, is there anything I should know? like some house rules or some unexpected visitors who may come or if you are allergic to something or smth you hate"

"for house rules, there's none, you are free to do anything you want and use anything like it's your house, we will be housemates for two years after all, for unexpected visitors, the only ones who may come are my three friends Chai, Gan and Aran, I will show you their pictures and my family, my parents and older married brother"

"alright, anything else?"

"I have a food allergy which is fresh shrimp; I dislike spicy food, Pork Tendon, Lard, Cucumber and Ripped Papaya, oh, the xxx cleaning company I deal with send someone to clean the place every Thursday so make sure to keep your important things well hidden that day, my laptop password is ************** in case you needed to use it" he looked surprised to me blinking a few times

"you just told me your laptop password"

"I have nothing to hide; there are only work files in it, btw, let's share our phone numbers and social media, we need to upload some photos here and there once in a while and you can call me if anything happens" I took out my phone as he got his from his back and handed to me

"the password is 4853, my name in numbers, I only have tweeter account that my friend Earth created for me, you do it while I go to take a bath if you have nothing else to tell me"

"nothing for now, if I remember I will tell you later"

"alright" he said dragging himself toward his room, he looked so tired, I hope things gets better for him.

Gulf's POV

I woke up early, prepared some rice for myself like usual, I'm lucky that he is friendly and kind, letting me use anything around his house

"good morning Gulf" the older walked in slowly, he was topless with messy hair and yawning like a baby, I noticed that his body is fit, a broad shoulders and muscular chest, a narrow waist and his six pack abs, ugh, seeing him makes me a little envious and aware of my body that is nothing like his.

"morning P' Mew"

"are you already going out? It's only 7 am" he said looking to the wall clock hanged next to the kitchen

"I'm not familiar with this area so I need to find the best public transportation that will take me to university, it's just today"

"alright, have a good day"

"you too P' Mew" I said going out, I found that the train only 5 min walk from the condo and it will take me 20 min to get to my university, since I got there early, I bought a coffee and sat studying until my first class which start by 8:30 am. When I got back from work around 11 pm, I found the place dark which mean that the brown haired man is already asleep so I quietly took a quick shower and went straight to sleep.

It's Tuesday, I'm going to see this famous professor of ASE that people keep talking about, I'm not interested in him, I just hope that his lessons are easy to understand so I won't have to do a lot of self studying, after eating my lunch at my usual spot, I slowly made my way to the class that was a bit far away, when I arrived I was shocked to see more than 20 people there and all front seats are taken, I sat on the third row in the middle, I didn't see any familiar faces around so I took out my phone and started checking some news

"good afternoon everyone" I suddenly heard a familiar voice, I couldn't even raise my head to look at the person as my eyes were wide open trying to concentrate on his voice again

"I know it must be hard for suddenly getting another course this year but don't worry, I made the necessary modification on my lessons to be able to finish in time before exams" his voice kept echoing inside my head still not being able to look up, he is a professor? In this university? And now he is MY professor?! This is going to be super awkward

"oh I forgot to introduce myself, I'm professor Mew Suppasit, I graduated two years ago as a PhD in computer engineering, ASE is one of specialities, the rumors about me being serious during my lectures are true so please behave yourselves or I will have to send you out, you are welcome to stop me and ask me questions about the lessons or you can come ask after the lecture too" for some reason I'm feeling so nervous that my stomach is turning, how am I supposed to concentrate? I can't even look at him

"professor Mew, are we going to study all the 7 chapters designed for this semester?" one of the student that was sitting close to me  asked making me flinch

"no, we don't have that time, we are only going to focus on 5 of them"

"professor, do you recommend any books or articles to study to follow with your lecture" another one asked as I flinched again

"yes not only books but also a few presentations and documents that will help you so I want you to pass around this paper writing your names and email addresses so I can send you any files you may need and you can send me emails too if you need some explanation about anything, any other emails will be deleted immediately" he said writing his email on the board as every student quickly wrote it down, I could hear some whispering about how handsome and young and serious he is, what should I do? Maybe I should just sneak out from the back door? But running away won't help me, I already took this course and I can't change it

"here" a boy passed me the paper, I wrote my name and email with shaky hand then passed to the next one

"well let's start our first lesson" he said turning on the projector that was linked to his laptop, I think I should just act normally, like he is a complete stranger, both of us didn't know that this will happen, that we will end up professor and student.

I slowly glanced up, he was looking to my right telling us plan of the first lesson, slowly I calmed down and paid attention to him focusing on the lecture hoping that he won't pay much attention to me

"... after this part, we are going to-" he stopped, he noticed me, the look of shock was visible on his face when our eyes met, he stood facing me without moving like a robot that was out of battery abruptly, I can't blame him, I looked away placing my head on my hand, he cough apologizing and stepped next to the screen

"as I wrote here, we are going to start using..." he started talking again as I kept concentrating on every word he said while taking notes, he is a good professor and I could understand everything, I even became more interested in ASE, except for this awkward situation, I don't regret choosing this course. After finishing, some students surrounded him while I took my things and was walking outside.

For a second or eyes met, I could see that he was still trying to see if it's really me which made me chuckle for a second, he will surely wait for me tonight. I finished early today so when I arrived it was 10:20 pm, he moment I got in the living room he jumped up

"it was you right?" he asked as I walked to the fridge taking a bottle of water

"yes, I was shocked too, I never saw you in the university before"

"neither did I, I almost yelled your name at the lecture today" he said falling back as I sat facing him

"I almost ran away, but it can't be helped I already applied for your course, I didn't even check your name, if I knew it was you I would have applied to smth else although I'm really interested in ASE" I said after gulping the rest of the water

"the fact that you are my student now can't be changed but let's-"

"act like we don't know each other, I know that more than you"

"good, I won't treat you exceptionally because you live with me"

"I don't need it, just be yourself with me like all other students and I will be myself like with all professors" I said assuring him

"being on the same page and understanding each other is great"

"sure it is"

"oh don't forget to tell your friend Earth to keep it a secret too"

"oh Earth didn't continue his studies, he is already working, now that you mention him I still didn't tell him about us, he will be upset for hiding the dating fact from him"

"I'm sure he will understand you and support you"

"he will, well I'm taking a shower then will study a little"

"I'm going to sleep" we both stood up and walked to our rooms

"good night P' Mew, no wait, professor Mew?" he chuckled

"P' Mew at home, professor at university"

"this will be a little hard" he shrugged his shoulder smiling

"good night Gulf, don't stay up until very late" he said getting inside. I can feel it this will be the most memorable year of my life
