???: *Whispers* Lucius...

It was currently the middle of the night for the white haired woman, known as Lucius. Her eyes shot open upon hearing the feint calls of someone trying to get her attention. She currently stayed in bed as she felt herself grow more cold that usual in a room with heat.

Lucius: ... Leave me alone...

???: *Whisper* Come find me...

The same image of the mysterious blade haunted her mind as she made an attempt to return to sleep. However, she felt her heart rate began to speed up so she decided to move out of bed and walk towards the restroom. Once she was inside, she began lightly splash water in her face and closed the faucet. After drying herself off with a towel, she looked in the mirror and was immediately startled by the appearance of her eyes. The sclera of her eyes were pitch black and her iris were glowing red.

Reimu: You okay?

Lucius: I-I.... Yeah.

Hoping that it was her imagination, she opened the door to the hallway but was immediately impaled by a strange blade. The only thing she remembered was Reimu's eyes glowing the same color...

Hakurei

Lucius: *gasps*

Lucius immediately awakened from her nightmare and quickly arose from the futon.

Lucius: A dream...! A dream.

The white haired woman began to take deep breaths while attempting to soothe her thoughts. Once she had finally calmed herself, she began to prepare for the day since it is already morning. Taking a look out the window, she began to realize that the snow was still lingering.

Lucius: Strange... And we're nearing the end of April...

She began her day with a bath and dressed herself in her usual outfit, this time including gloves, a scarf, and another layer of a coat. She also wore boots that would help her traverse the thick snow since the shrine grounds was covered in a layer of snow. Once she was ready, she took a step outside and grabbed a shovel from a nearby shed in order to clear a path.

Lucius: I don't understand how it's still this cold. *Sigh* It's really tiring to shovel this much snow everyday.

She scanned the area and sighed to herself, once more, since it was going to be another tiresome morning.

Marisa: Yo!

Lucius looked up to find the ordinary magician flying in with her broom. It was a sight that still made her feel uneasy but she knew well that this was a completely different world than her own.

Lucius: Good morning.

Marisa: Morning! Hey, you seen Reimu?

Lucius: I imagine that she's still asleep.

Marisa: And so you're the one doing the heavy lifting, da ze!

Lucius: At this point, yes. This odd weather that we've been having practically forced us to stay inside to keep warm.

Marisa: I hear ya, da ze! It should already be spring by now! This has definitely gotta be the work of some Youkai!

Nearby, there were a group of fairies causing mischief amongst each other while the two of them were speaking.

Marisa: See what I mean? We need to figure out what's going on and fast!

???: Ah, so you have noticed as well.

A third presence made itself known as the both of them turned towards the shrine gates. Lucius watched as a silver haired woman, wearing a maid outfit with some more covering to keep herself warm, approached the both of them.

Marisa: Oh hey! It's been a while, da ze!

Sakuya: Indeed. I always seem to miss your appearance whenever you trespass our property.

Marisa: *nervous laugh* You're not here for that, are you?

Sakuya: Luckily for you, I am not. I am here because my mistress has sent me to help solve whatever incident is approaching.

Marisa: That's great to hear, da ze! Oh by the way, this is Lucius! She's currently staying her with Reimu.

Sakuya: It's a pleasure to meet you, I am Sakuya Izayoi. *In thought* Why does that name sound familiar...?

The chief maid bowed towards the outsider as she greeted her. Lucius nervously bowed in response towards the maid.

Lucius: I-Its a pleasure to meet you as well, Miss Sakuya. *In thought* So this is the maid that they spoke of... So formal...

Sakuya: Please, just call me Sakuya.

Marisa: Guess what? Luci here is also from The Outside World!

Sakuya: Is that so? Well, I hope that you're having an easier time adjusting by staying with Reimu.

Reimu: *yawn* She definitely has it much easier here.

The trio heard the voice of the shrine maiden and turned to find her approaching the rest of them. She must have had the same idea since she also wore some more covering for warmth as well as carrying her gohei in her hands.

Marisa: Morning, sleepyhead! Ready for another of round of youkai extermination, da ze?!

Reimu: Ready as I'll ever be... *yawns*

Unbeknownst to her, Sakuya was standing in front of her with a cup of hot coffee.

Sakuya: This should give you the energy required to begin your day.

Lucius: *in thought* Where did she get that?! And how is she so fast?!

Reimu: No thanks...

Sakuya: Some tea, perhaps?

Reimu: No... I'm fine with just stretching a bit.

As Reimu began to stretch, Lucius was still in shock from Sakuya's speed.

Lucius: H-how are you so fast?

Sakuya: Hm? It's simply my own ability.

Marisa: She can manipulate time.

Lucius: ... Eh? W-well, if it isn't too much trouble, may I take the coffee?

Sakuya: Of course. Sugar?

Lucius observed as the silver haired maid retrieved a few cubes of sugar from nowhere and placed them in the coffee. The outsider intended to observe the maid's ability however, she moved too fast for Lucius's eyes to notice.

Lucius: T-thank you! *Sips* Oh, this is really good.

Marisa: Would you look at that, you made a new friend Luci!

Reimu: Phew, alright. We should get moving, who knows how much worse this lingering winter is going to get.

Both Marisa and Sakuya nodded in response as they put on a serious face.

Reimu: Luci, take the rest of the day off. Hopefully we'll have this incident resolved by the end of the day, so don't worry about shoveling anymore snow.

Lucius: *sigh* Thank goodness. Be safe then.

Reimu, Marisa, and Sakuya quickly departed in order to investigate the incident while Lucius stayed behind since she is still an ordinary human.

Lucius: I'll just take it easy on the shoveling. Not much to do while I wai-

The white haired girl was interrupted when a snowball hit her in the back of the head. The sound of giggling can be heard behind her so she turned to find the culprit.

Blue Haired Fairy: Gotcha!

The blue haired fairy easily dodged the shovel that was thrown at her and immediately stuck out her tongue to taunt the woman.

Lucius: ... You're lucky that I'm -

She was struck by another snowball from the same fairy, which forced her to quickly snap.

Blue Haired Fairy: *Laughing* Come and get me if you can!

The fairy quickly flew away while laughing, although Lucius remained in the shrine.

Lucius: *sigh* I'm just going back inside.

Timeskip

(Y/N): You really think they can handle themselves in there? Knowing Reimu, she's going to find a way in there and challenge Lady Yuyuko.

At the moment, you were currently watching over Yukari as she somewhat focused on keeping multiple large gaps open. The purpose of the gaps is to allow the spring to easily flow inside them and become absorbed into the Saigyou Ayakashi. Meanwhile, Ran kept watch towards the fields in case anyone decided to intervene.

Yukari: I'm quite sure if it.

(Y/N): ... So you knew that this would happen.

Yukari: ufufu, don't you think it makes things a little more exciting?

(Y/N): *sigh* And I thought I was the one that was putting everyone's lives at risk.

Yukari: Well you did send a powerful blast into the sky. Not only that, I'm sure you would have gone feral or... Worse.

(Y/N): I'm aware... *Sigh* It always comes back to that.

Yukari: Oh, don't feel down.

You suddenly felt the blonde woman pull you into a warm embrace.

Yukari: Can you at least admit that you're time with us was quite pleasant?

(Y/N): ... Where's all this coming from?

Yukari: Nowhere in particular, I only wanted your opinion.

(Y/N): .... Honestly....? Despite being your "prisoner", I really enjoyed spending time in your household. You, Ran, and Chen sure made it feel like another home for me.

Yukari released you from the hug and turned her attention towards the massive gaps.

Yukari: That makes glad to hear it. Once this is over, there is something that I'd like to show you.

(Y/N): What could that be?

Yukari: I won't tell you until we're done, that would ruin the surprise~

Ran: I am quite curious, will you be returning to your home in the Scarlet Devil Mansion, once your time is up?

(Y/N): Now that you mention it... Hmm... I'm not sure. There's a lot to Gensokyo that I would love to see for myself. I missed out on a lot whenever I scouted for them but I really want to take the time to explore what this land has to offer.

Ran: That sounds very admirable, just be sure to visit us from time to time.

Yukari: Heads up.

Just above Ran, Chen immediately fell into her arms while the brown haired girl was covered in a few battle wounds.

Chen: They were too strong....

The smaller shikigami quickly fell unconscious while Ran quickly grew angry.

(Y/N): You'll have your chance for payback... Say, who's them?

Yukari: Hmm... The Shrine Maiden, the girl welding a Mini-Hakkero and... Oh, and your lovely maid friend from the mansion~

Your head peaked from the possible mention of Sakuya and you approached your current master.

(Y/N): S-Sakuya's with them?

Yukari: Now, now. You will ha-

Ran: He's gone.

The Gap Youkai was quite surprised that you had the means to easily sneak off without her noticing.

Yukari: ... So he is.

With You

(Y/N): Sorry but I never got to thank her for the blood.

Luckily for you, one of the gaps that Yukari held open made for a convenient path towards Hakugyokurou.

(Y/N): Gonna be a minute to get to Yuyuko... Just hope she hasn't gone fully insane.

Just as you were growing closer to your destination, the image of Yukari, Ran, and Chen flashed in your mind. In fact, you felt a strange sensation when Yukari and Ran came to mind as you slowed to a halt.

(Y/N): ... *Slight chuckle* Didn't think this would happen...

???: ... Didn't think what would happen?

You were confused by the sudden voice as an apparition began to manifest in front you.

???: You know... I never expected myself to be here. And I'm sure you're wondering who I am...

(Y/N): Erm... Probably. Though, it is a little odd to suddenly pop up in front of a stranger.

???: Believe me, you're not exactly a stranger... In fact, I was surprised when the one watching over that little shrine has informed me about someone named (Y/N). *Small laugh* I actually quite like it here... Much more quiet than my lab.

(Y/N): You know... You're right.

???: *Giggle* I apologize if I'm stopping you but it's best if I left you a bit of a gift before you continue.

The female apparition then placed her hands on your head for a brief moment and released. You felt a strange sensation rush through your body however, a wave of knowledge flooded your mind.

???: You know, I've always liked you (Y/N). Please, take care of my daughter if you ever see her.

Your head snapped upon realizing the identity of the apparition as a brown haired woman in a white lab coat manifested in place of the figure.

(Y/N): You're Luci's mom... Oh dear...

You were immediately struck with grief as another realization had struck that she had passed.

???: I can explain another time, just go.

You felt a sudden power spike nearby as she spoke, forcing you to fly towards the disturbance without a second thought.

???: *Sigh* I wonder how things would have been if I hadn't taken that job offer...

Moments Later

(Y/N): So that's what it looks like in full bloom.

You had quickly arrived in time to witness the Saigyou Ayakashi fully bloom before a bright light briefly impaired your vision. Once it was over, you noticed the trio of Reimu, Marisa, and Sakuya standing beside a downed Yuyuko. Although, something approached them as another apparition manifested in the shape of Yuyuko.

(Y/N): Yuyuko? No.... Could it?

There was an even greater power within the apparition as it began to ready itself to attack.

(Y/N): Oh no!

Reacting on instinct, you sped past the trio and delivered a swift kick towards the figure. The body quickly flew back into the base of the tree in an attempt to reseal the body underneath the Youkai tree. You threw hands forward as a magic circle formed in front of you as the tree began to seal away, even Reimu stepped in to assist. Once the process was complete, you let out a sigh of relief as you knelt beside Yuyuko to check on her condition.

(Y/N): *phew* Close one there... Wait... How did I know that would work?

You turned back to face the trio as they were looking at you in disbelief.

(Y/N): Hello Reimu.

Reimu: ... (Y/N)?!

(Y/N): Erm... Yeah. Been a while.

Marisa: More so about a year and a half, da ze!

You agreed with a simple shrug before your eyes were turned to Sakuya, who slowly approached.

(Y/N): Hey... Uhh, I won't lie when I say that I couldn't exactly think of anything to well... Say...

Sakuya: It's good to know that you're still well.

(Y/N): Well, I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for you. Thanks to your help...

Sakuya: I'm glad. Although I preferred if you kept in touch.

Meanwhile, Marisa leaned closer to Reimu as if she were trying to whisper.

Marisa: *quietly* See? I told you that they have a thing for each other.

(Y/N): I heard that!

Sakuya: *slight giggle* So what happens now?

(Y/N): I uhh... Well...

You were trying to think of something until you felt a group of hands grab you from your shoulders and pull you away from trio. The others witnessed you quickly being pulled into a black void with eyes before it quickly closed.

Marisa: H-He's gone?! Just like that, da ze?!

Reimu: Seems like it. Whoever pulled him away obviously didn't want us getting too close... Or felt that his time was up.

Yuyuko: ... *Groans* If I may... I know where you can find him.

The others looked towards the ghost princess, who was picking herself up from the ground.

Back With You

(Y/N): At least warn me that you're going to do that!

Yukari: So that you would run away again?

(Y/N): I wasn't... Look, I just wanted to talk to them.

Yukari: And I remember forbidding you from seeing your friends until I feel as though you're ready to roam freely in Gensokyo.

You sighed from her statement since it was true, however you still disobeyed in order to reunite with the others.

Yukari: Now... What to do as your punishment~

(Y/N): Are you serious? Now of all times?

Ran: *in thought* Oh dear...

At the moment, Yukari was pinching both of your cheeks while you were struggling to endure the pain until all of you began to feel a presence approaching.

Yukari: Oh, they move fast.

(Y/N): Well they don't exactly sleep the day awa- OW!

Yukari: Ran, Chen can the two you hold them off for a little bit, while I think of (Y/N)'s punishment?

Ran: Right away, my lady.

Both Shikigamis quickly flew towards the presence as Yukari continued to pinch your face with both hands.

Yukari: Now, what to do with you~

(Y/N): Isn't this already a punishment?!

Yukari: ufufu, of course not~

After some time, she eventually released your face and you were gently rubbing the sides to relieve the pain.

(Y/N): What was that for?!

Yukari: Nothing in particular, I just find you quite adorable when you struggle.

(Y/N): Yeah, yeah...

Yukari: I'll just decide later. Quite difficult to think about when we're not home.

(Y/N): *in thought* The hell kind of grip was that?! It's like I couldn't even get out of it even if I wanted to.

Once the pain had vanished, you decided to ask a question that had been bothering you ever since you temporarily sealed away the strange phenomenon inside.

(Y/N): ... So what was that in there?

Yukari: Hm? Whatever do you mean?~

(Y/N): You know what I mean. Whatever that was that was about to go berserk inside the Netherworld.

Yukari: It was Yuyuko herself.

(Y/N): Eh?

Yukari: It's as I said... A long time ago, she sacrificed herself in order to seal the Saigyou Ayakashi. The one that we regularly speak to is her ghost however, she was unable to remember anything from when she was alive.

(Y/N): So... We nearly unleashed a deadly killer tree and her dead body because...?!

Yukari: It makes things a little interesting if we played along. Besides, the Hakurei Shrine Maiden and her friends were able to defeat Yuyuko so there is nothing to worry about.

You simply started at her in disbelief while feeling rather uneasy about the fact that you helped them along the way.

(Y/N): Really starting to consider going back to the sake just to process my sudden realization.

Yukari: It's nothing to worry about, the shrine maiden is more than capable of handling the situation.

(Y/N): ... Still... You knew what was sealed in that tree and you didn't even tell Lady Yuyuko about it?

Yukari: Now where would be the fun in that?

(Y/N): *sigh* Okay then...

After a few more minutes, the both of you noticed something approaching fast.

Yukari: Well, it's your turn!

(Y/N): You sure about this?

Yukari: Of course~ I'll be a little further down in case you happen to lose.

(Y/N): Quite the way to tell that I'm going to lose.

You watched your current master disappear in a gap as you sighed to yourself, waiting for your opponents to arrive.

???: (Y/N)?

You looked up to find the same trio, from before, quickly landing from their flight to greet you. Both Reimu and Marisa were confused to find you again but in the direction of their own destination. However, Sakuya quickly realized the situation and mentally prepared herself.

Sakuya: ... I see... Now I think I understand.

Reimu: You don't mean...?

Marisa: No way...!

(Y/N): *sigh* Yup.

Sakuya: Your current master must think highly of you if she were to entrust such a task.

(Y/N): Ehh. Somewhat. Least I get to show all of you how much I improved.

Everyone quickly readied themselves into their fighting stances while stood still in your position as a dark aura slowly rose from your feet.

(Y/N): I'm ready for ya!

You brought fourth your hand as a small flame appeared within the palm of your hand. The three of them were unaffected by the small light until they realized that there was a massive surge of power from the small fire.

(Y/N): *in thought* Never fought Marisa so I wouldn't even know how she fights... Gotta be careful...

Marisa: That doesn't look good, daze!

Reimu: Everyone back away!

The flame disappeared as a sudden wave of embers surrounded the entire group. Just as everyone nearly dispersed, the embers created a massive explosion that quickly captured everyone. This was your moment to strike as you quickly traveled through the flames to make your move towards the ordinary magician.

Sakuya: Found you!

A portion of the flames dispersed as the silver haired woman appeared above you while readying her knives.

Marisa: That was pretty flashy, da ze! I'll give you that!

Multiple bullets of energy struck your body, from the flames, as Marisa emerged unscathed. Reimu was beside her as she easily fanned the flames with her hand.

(Y/N): *in thought* Figured that wouldn't work.

Without hesitation, you adjusted your body and quickly lunged towards the pair with the last of the flames quickly following under your feet. You sent a swift upwards, fire coated kick towards marisa. The blonde girl was able to dodge the attack in time, however the fire coating your feet releases a blast that sent her backwards and launched you towards Sakuya.

The chief maid was surprised from the level of power that you were able to demonstrate and barely blocked a kick. Meanwhile, Reimu charged in for a surprise attack while Sakuya held a grip on your ankle. Reimu nearly connected an attack until you quickly reacted and moved your leg to slam Sakuya into the shrine maiden. The both of them crashed into the ground and stood on their feet rather quickly to regroup.

Reimu: I can't tell if he's toying with us or testing our strength...

Marisa: Who cares if he is! He won't stand a chance if all of us go all out on him!

Sakuya: That may be true however... Pay close attention. He was barely forced to use his vampire half. He's definitely improved since the last time.

Reimu; I can tell. When I fought him, his power was going way out of control. Now he's as calm as ever.

Requiem: I am Just One

Without warning, the three of them were surrounded by glowing red orbs as the area began to slowly darken.

Reimu: Not this one... Both of you, stay calm and remember the position of the orbs!

They agreed as they remained in their positions as their surroundings were pitch black. Much to their inconvenience, you appeared in front of them with full intention to directly attack.

Sakuya: You really should be more aware of your surroundings, (Y/N).

You were confused by her words as every single orb began to glow bright red, revealing a knife nearly piercing each one. As if time began to move once again, the knives made contact and forces all of them to detonate as the illusion easily shattered.

(Y/N): Oh, didn't expect for you to release them so early.

All three girls were caught off guard as the explosions created a massive detonation of light blue bullets that scattered in every direction possible. You let a soft laugh escape as they struggled to avoid being hit by the barrage of energy.

(Y/N): *in thought* Just like what Ran taught me, gotta remember it.

Eventually, the team of three were forced out of the ground and began to float in the air while avoiding your attacks. Unbeknownst to them, your eyes began to glow red as you allowed the scarlet blood to strengthen yourself.

Scarlet Blood Sign: This Means War

Within mere seconds, the ground was covered in a massive blanket of dark red magic circles.

Marisa: *nervous laugh* Guess you're not playing around anymore....

With a snap of your finger, every single magic circle fires an unbelievable amount of glowing red bullets towards your opponents. Even short blasts of lasers were mixed within the wave as the girls were unable to think of a counter attack.

Reimu: Marisa! Make an opening!

Marisa: Already ahead of you, da ze!

Once the opportunity revealed itself, Marisa held out her Mini-Hakkero and began to gather as much magic as possible.

Marisa: This is gonna be a big one! MASTER SPARK!

Her Mini-Hakkero fired a massive beam of magic that easily overpowered the rain of bullets. You were quite surprised from her display of power as you created a barrier to protect yourself from the blast. However, you underestimated the power of her attack and was forced into a struggle as the beam slowly forced the barrier much closer to you.

(Y/N): Damn! Didn't think you had it in ya!

Marisa: I'm just getting started!

Her voice echoed as she responded to your comment and began to increase the output of her attack. You were forced to one knee as you continued to hold the barrier in place. During your struggle, you were able to feel the eyes of someone staring at you within the distance. So, you decided to gather as much power as you could and slightly pushed the barrier away in order for you to stand.

(Y/N): Sorry about this but I have a lady to impress!

Wings of purple and red energy began to form on your back as more of your other half began to take over. Luckily, the blonde girl reached the limit of her Master Spark and the beam eventually vanished.

Marisa: Damn it! How is he still standing?

To her surprise, Reimu and Sakuya appeared on the ground beside (Y/N) but kept their distance.

Reimu: This is it!

Knives appeared around you, forming a dome as they began to close in with blinding speed.

(Y/N): Burn away!

You released a massive heat blast from your body to easily deflect the knives, however a wave of Reimu's bullets appeared directly after.

Reimu: You can't get yourself out of this one!

The charms that were approaching were enough to deal nervous as you thought of an escape.

(Y/N): Try me!

Without giving a second thought, you immediately lunged towards the shrine maiden.

Sakuya: *in thought* He's going to charge right through our trap!?

Just as you drew closer to the approaching bullets, time itself began to slow down in your perspective. Even the maid noticed the change as she readjusted her own time in order to match your speed.

Sakuya: So it's happening again!

Your power began to peak at an alarming rate as the charms began to burn from the intense heat. The entire dome of charms and knives were engulfed in a powerful fire that emerged from your body.

Sakuya: (Y/N)! This is too much! You might destroy yourself if you keep doing this!

You were unable to hear the maid's calls as you used time to temporarily peak your power and continue charging towards the shrine maiden. With one hand outstretched to grab your opponent, you noticed the flames slowly covering your body as well as your vision slowly blurring.

Scarlet Blood Sign: Know Me By Name

The sudden rush of power and fire forced a slight laughter from you as time began to slowly readjust itself.

Reimu: What the-?!

Sakura appeared beside Reimu so that the both of them may escape the incoming wrath.

Sakuya: We need to move!

(Y/N); oh no you don't!

Unfortunately, it was too late as grabbed both of them by their torso and slammed them to the ground. Fire covered the area in a wide radius as a massive blast detonated from your position.

Marisa: No way!

Marisa was only able to watch since she was unable to reach them in time. Once the flames have been blown away by the wind, only you were the one left standing as the other two were lying unconscious.

Song End

Marisa: The hell kind of training did you go through?!

You felt your power quickly drain from the display of strength, although you knew something felt off. Even Reimu began to stir awake as she let out a soft grin from her position.

Reimu; You should be careful where you're stepping.

Marisa quickly swooped in to grab the both of her friends and flew away as the ground below you began to glow. Unfortunately, you were feeling drained from your last attack and could barely move as an enormous ray of light emerged from the ground.

(Y/N): Ah, hell...

You were easily swallowed by the blast of light as the others watched from a distance.

Sakuya: Did you really need to use that much?

Reimu: Hm, think of it as payback for going all out like that. That attack hurt, ya know.

The other two couldn't help but release a small laugh until the light quickly vanished.

Reimu: Just hope you're all ready to take on his master... Don't know how we're going to recover fast enough.

Unbeknownst to them, Yukari appeared beside them as she watched you lie unconscious on the ground.

Yukari: That won't be necessary.

All three of them were shocked to find someone else standing beside them.

Small Timeskip

???: (Y/N)? (Y/N)!

The muffled sounds of someone calling your name can be heard as you were slowly opening your eyes. The glare from the sun impaired your vision as you noticed a silhouette of a person above you.

(Y/N): I'm awake... *Groans* How long have I been out for this time?

Your body was sore from your previous battle as you slowly rose from your futon. Looking to the side, you noticed that Chen was the one keeping watch over you. Normally, she would be the one teasing you as you awaken from your slumber however, she was quite surprised by your appearance.

Chen: Woah... I didn't believe them when they told me.

(Y/N): Huh? What are talking about? Do I have something on my face?

She only shook her head in response as she continued to stare.

(Y/N): Alright at least give me a mirror so I can look.

The brown haired girl nodded and ran out the door to return within seconds with a small mirror for you to use. You felt a moment of hesitation as the mirror was slowly brought fourth to your face.

Letting out a deep breath, you eventually brought the mirror at a proper angle.

(Y/N): I-I'm... I'm young?! I look like I'm back in high school! What am I, seventeen now?!

Chen: That feels too young.

(Y/N): Chen, humans age different.

Chen: Oooh, that explains a lot.

You were confused by her words but quickly observed your self in the mirror.

(Y/N): What the hell did I do?

Yukari: As much as I loved watching your previous battle, you accidentally activated the ability to manipulate time.

The Blonde Youkai walked inside along with the chief maid.

(Y/N); Sakuya... Hey, I'm sorry about...

Yuyuko felt a little disappointed that her friend in the white lab coat was unable to join her and Youmu.

Reimu: Hm? Oh, seems Marisa invited the magician from the forest.

The both of them watched as the ordinary magician walked onto the shrine ground along with another woman with short blonde hair.

Lucius: Just how big of a festival are we expecting?

Reimu: Who knows, as long as they don't cause a mess.

Lucius: Do you just befriend anyone that you battle?

Reimu: Maybe, anyways might as well go and meet up with them.

Scarlet Devil Mansion

Patchouli: Is this really necessary?

Mei Ling: Oh come on, Patchy! It'll be fun! I even heard from Miss Sakuya that (Y/N) will be there!

The purple haired youkai was still hesitant about leaving the library however, reuniting with you peaked her interest.

Patchouli: ... Fine.

Mei Ling: That's the spirit! Lets meet with the others at the gate so we can leave as a group!

Patchouli: I'd rather stay here and continue studying this gem.

Mei Ling: It'll still be here when we get back!

Once the both of them exited the library, the gem that Patchouli mentioned, began to glow yellow. A loud cackle echoed across the library as the gem began to absorb energy from an unknown source with the mansion.
