~Monsters are real, ghosts too. They live in me. You made me a Monster. A ghost of a body that was once a person, now a shell only remains.

Waking with a startle, Betty bolts upright. Sweat dripping down her forehead, she takes a shuddering breath, trying to calm down her mind and body.
Wiping her clammy hands on her pants, she notices shackles back onto her red raw wrists. A sigh escaped through her dry cracked lips as she patted her left breast, trying to feel for the tags she always kept with her. Though as quick as the sigh escaped it was swiftly drawn back in when she couldn't find them. Feeling around dread and worry filled her when she couldn't feel them anywhere on her.
Whipping around towards the uncomfortable metal bed she was lying on moments before, Betty rips the blanket off. Shaking the beige cloth ferociously, she listens for any sound that could be her precious tags. When no sound projects from the walls, her hands quickly find her -equally uncomfortable- pillow, that sat at the top of her make-shift bed. Grabbing the pillow Betty tears the case off (again) trying to find her irreplaceable tags, that somehow mean everything to her.
Again Betty finds nothing but stone like cushion.

The Avergers look through the monitor at the frantic girl. She was obviously looking for something. Something that they now had. As Betty fell unconscious she had dropped the tags that were clutched in her flesh right hand. When they dropped, it skidded over by the door on the other side of the pristine white room.
Tony looked down at his hand looking at the relatively clean tags. Wondering why she had them, he knew who James Buchanan Barnes was. Steve's best friend. Practically brothers back then, but he didn't know why she had them. One thing he did know was that he's going to find out tonight.
When everyone left to turn in for the night, Tony's plan sprung into action. He made sure no one was watching her or at the monitors when he left his bedroom.
As he was walking down the long-ish corridor, Tony was fiddling with the tags in his rough palms. Arriving at the cage door, he raised his left hand and placed it on the scanner. When he got accepted to go in Tony grasped the handle and let himself in. As he stepped through the door way in his expensive dress shoes his gaze landed apon the girl, who had an anxious look on her face.
However, as Tony started to talk it startled the girl. She had confusion written all over her face, but she had a undertone of hostility. Tony thought nothing of it however, because once a Hydra weapon. Always a Hydra weapon. Right?
"Why did you have these tags, Betty" he asked. Betty looked up surprised at such a question. Once she calmed her self she recoiled by not saying anything.
"Who of Hydra sent you to act like a lost puppy. Mhmm. I want answers." He pressed further, not thinking how she would react.
"I-I don't know." Betty said, yet she sounded unsure. To Tony this set of a little red flag in his head. "I'm not falling for this act. I want answers and I want it now!" He yelled, Not caring if she was scared.
Betty tried to scamper further into the metal bed she was given. Trying to get away, not wanting any punishment for something she didn't know the answer to. At this point she was trying to find an answer for the question. Searching her mind for anything but that's when she remembered this man had her things. It was HERS not his. Hers.
Coming up with a quick plan she had no better options then to lunge and hope for the best. Waiting a few seconds to catch him of guard. That's when she lunged for the tags. Her irreplaceable tags. Almost getting there when her shackles yanked her back. Though her foot smacked the tags from the man's hand. They were souring through the air, before he could react she kicked it further to her and snatched them up from the floor below her. Holding them close to her chest as much as she possibly could.
After letting another sigh pass her lips she looked up, staring into the mans eyes. "Mine." Betty growled back. The one word that she only could bear herself to say.
Tony stepped back in a little shock of what just happened. No one had been able to do that before, not even Natasha. From the distance between them it should of pulled both arms out of place. He couldn't see that she was in any pain, yet her arms were actually out of place. She didn't care that it caused her damage, she wanted what was hers.
Betty was cradling the tags like it was some sort of life support. Keeping her alive. Keeping her sane. Tony started to stomp forward, no Hydra weapon or any enemy would do this to him and get away with it.
"Listen here. I don't care how long it will get you to crack. You will answer my god damn question. Weather you like it or not." Tony declares, getting closer and closer to her face.
Betty inches, or tries to, back pushing herself against the wall. She's done wrong and now she's going to get punished. But she couldn't let them take her oh so valuable tags away from her. She just couldn't. She would fight back, she would not go down with out a fight. She was sure of it.
Just as Tony was going to say something else, Steve comes rushing into the room before stopping in his tracks. The scene before him made him think back to some memories. He couldn't let this happen to his sister. But he didn't know why Tony was in here. He had no reason to be.
"Tony! Stop! Get away from Betty!" Steve yells at him. He walks over and puts himself in between Betty and Tony creating some distance in the two. Betty visibly sighs, liking the fact that she was away from the intimidating man behind Steve. She brings the tags out from her hands and pressed them to her forehead, feeling more peaceful within herself.
Betty thought all was well now. How she was terribly, terribly wrong. Whispers could be heard through the speakers as if on replay. Though they were in Russian, no one knew what it was saying. Except Betty and Natasha.
"Сломанный"
Betty started to tense up before quickly shoving the tags in her bra, like she was going to forget them.
"снег"
Betty's eyes started to dilate. Growing darker and more vacant.
"плавленый"
She held her head, trying to rid of the voices.
"боль"
Her body collapsed backwards on the bed behind her.
"смеркаться"
Betty banged her head on the wall trying to release the pain sweeping around her.
"Девятнадцать"
The words echoing the walls made her scream. An ear blood curdling scream enough to make hairs stand up.
"любить"
Wiring and metal against metal could be heard from her metal hand.
"возвращение домой"
The metal plates in her left leg were twisting going into place.
"два"
Betty pulls the shackles from behind her and breaks them from her wrists.
"грузовой вагон"
Standing up in a dead like motion, she stares at the wall in frount of her. Like nothing is going on. That's when the last Russian set of words come forward.
"добро пожаловать обратно Сарджент Холлоу. немедленно доложите Гидре. впереди вас ждет машина, поторопитесь и доберитесь до нее."
Betty only nods before replying to mostly herself.
"да, сэр, готов подчиниться."
Walking over to the door she rips it off it's hinges before throwing it somewhere behind her. S.H.E.I.L.D guards come running down from the hallway, guns in hands already aiming. However, none of them had the training Sargent Hollow had. With ease she flipped over one guard taking a gun and a few throwing knifes before lunging them in two necks. Both people falling in their own puddle of blood.
Swinging the gun out she aims and strikes at anyone and everyone, all trying their best yet not one succeeding. This happened all the way through the complex till she got through the front doors. Jumping in the black suv, that had the door open wide, and taking off before all the Avengers were there.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When everyone got to the board room Tony marched up to Steve before pointing a finger into His face. " Who was she to you and why is she so important also why did she have your pal buckys tags?" He bellows, wanting his answers.
"She was my sister." Steve murmur. Only now realising he had lost his sister again. Hydra took her from him again.
"She and Bucky exchanged tags on our last mission together, they were going to get married when the war was over. That was the way Bucky proposed, thought she'd lose the ring so instead they traded tags. That's why she had them." Steve explained. Recalling once sweet moments.
The last sweet moment they had as a trio, and thought to be the last.
