Hugo was standing in front of the hidden door, and was planning to open it to see what's behind it out of boredom and because no one was currently there to stop him.

Hugo: Alright, let's see what I've spent all day and night looking...

Hugo opens the door and sees what's behind it. The camera stayed focused on Hugo, not revealing what he was seeing behind the door.

Hugo: for.... Wow. Okay, that guy wasn't kidding when he told Jinx that he hid any trace of her existence. And if this doesn't get this Rapunzel to realize what this room is proof of, then it'll be proof that Jinx had gotten all the brains in the family. Because this will throw the truth about Jinx at that princess like a brick. I mean, there's a sticking picture of baby Jinx in here.
