we stared at the branch. i yelled come on! if we hurry we can still catch whatever it was! we raced behind the tree but there was nothing there. no we missed them! i yelled! do you think anyone else saw that? niko shook her head. they would at least react. she said. i was panicked. i rushed up to an old female bat and asked her did you see anything behind the tree? she shook her head and i flew to the next bat. did you see anything behind that tree? i asked. he shook his head. i flew to every bat at least one time before giving up. i sat next to niko, my shoulders slouching. no one else saw if. i said sadly. she flapped into the air and glared at me. we cant just give up! she yelled. if no one else saw it we are the only ones who can save the tribe! come on she said. dont you see? we can prove being different can be a good thing. this is our chance to prove..... that different bats can be the heros. and for the first time i did see. i smiled and said ok. but first we find more bats like us.
