we flew down to the grass where the blood lay. we examiened it for awhile. i sniffed if and stated that it was a bats blood and from our cave too. we should keep our eyes out for clues and make watch to see if any other bats go missing. i said sternly. niko just nodded and said until then we should get some food. i nodded and we flew around for awhile. as we sat down to eat we continued to talk just like any  other day. me and her even tried scraping a picture into the bark of the tree with a sharp stone. after we were done the sun was setting and we could both hear the other bats stirring so we went back into the cave and got ready to count. as the bats flew by we tallied each bat on a leaf and counted them up. when the answer came up we were both terrified. there were only four hundred and thirty bats left.
