Shadow's P.O.V.
"Are... are you crazy...?" Sonic asked and stood up looking at me shocked. "Tell me you are joking."

"I'm not. I'm not joking. Sonic, I love you." I stood up and held his hand then I cupped his muzzle. "We've been years away from each other, when we could have been together. We never stopped loving each other." He looked me in the eyes as if looking for an answer.

"Shadow..." He mumbled, a whisper barely.

"Why don't we get married? We've waited for so long already. I don't want to lose you again. Not again. I'm never letting go of you." I rested my forehead in his.

"I-I... Alright... Yes... You are right..." He pecked my lips and smiled. "We've waited enough." I smiled at his response and hugged him.

"I love you..." I kissed him passionately as I held him close to me. I had missed his kisses so much and having him in my arms. This was the best feeling ever. Something I thought I was never going to have back.

"Chaos, the kids are going to be so mad." Sonic said and I chuckled.

"Let me talk to them." I kissed his cheek.

"Are we going to tell the others tomorrow?" He asked after he nodded and I smiled and nodded back at him.

"I'll be right back." I said and walked to where Sonic told me their room was at. I knocked on the door and Sam opened it. "I knew you wouldn't be asleep yet, can I talk to you two?"

"What about?" Luke said from his bed as Sam let me in.

"About your mom and me." I sat on the chair they had for their desk and looked at them as they both sat in their beds, I sat in front of their beds in between them.

"I swear, if you hurt him, we will-" Sam started.

"Kill me. I know. But trust me, I want to be with him more than anything in the world. You heard the way him and I ended things and if it wouldn't had been for Rose, I wouldn't had ended things with your mom. I want to be with him, I love him and I know he loves you. You two are his priority and like him, I want you two to like me. I'm not your dad, I am never going to ask you to call me dad, nor will I force you two to have a relationship with me. But I am going to be in your lives for as long as I can."

"Why?" They said in sync. "We are not going to get attached to someone who is going to leave in a week." Luke said.

"Or will betray us." Sam crossed his arms.

"I'm going to be with you for as long as I can, I am never going to hurt you or your mother. You can always count on me for anything." I took a deep breathe. "I want to marry Sonic." I said as calmly as I could and they froze.

"No. No. No." They both glared at me. "You'll hurt him."

"I want to marry Sonic, only if you let me." I said and they looked at me shocked.

"Why do you keep asking for our permission?" Sam raised a brow.

"Because I know that your mother is the most important thing to both of you. I know he loves you too more than anything in the world. And I am not going to destroy this family by randomly appearing in the picture." I smiled slightly. "What you two think about this matters to me, I know Sonic has kids and I will never forget that, I will never get you away from your mom." They looked at each other looking surprised for what I had said then they smiled slightly and looked at me.

"No one had ever asked for our opinions." Luke started.

"Everyone would just ignore us and try to get mom away from us." Sam said.

"We like you." I smiled at that and chuckled softly then nodded.

"Thank you."

"But even if you live with us and marry our mom, we aren't calling you dad." Luke said and I nodded.

"Just call me Shadow. If that's comfortable with you." I stood up. "You should get some sleep. Trust me, you'll need the energy for tomorrow. All our friends are crazy." I walked out of the room. I saw Sonic in his room since I saw the door opened and walked to him.

"How did it go?" He smiled at me and stood up then wrapped his arms around my neck as I wrapped my arms around his waist.

"It went well. They said they like me. I'm sure they can barely tolerate me but they accepted that I want marry you." I purred and kissed his lips very gently.

"They did?" He smiled and kissed me again then slowly pulled away. "Stay the night. Please." He purred and I chuckled.

"If the twins see me here, they'll kill me." I shook my head. "I don't want to risk it. How about after we make it legal?" I chuckled. "They can't make us sleep in different rooms then."

"Why not now?" He hummed taking me off guard by his question.

"What? And you called ME crazy?" I laughed softly.

"Wouldn't it be fun to just elope? Let's take the twins and let's go sign that paper. I don't care about fancy weddings." He nuzzled my muzzle and I chuckled.

"Go wake them up." I said and he immediately ran to the twins rooms and told them to get ready then he looked at me.

"I'll be right back." I chaos controlled to my hotel room and quickly changed into a suit. When I came back, the kids were shouting at Sonic saying he was crazy but they were laughing and smiling. Sonic walked down the stairs wearing a suit as well. I laughed softly and walked to him then held his hand and squeezed it.

My heart was racing from how excited I was. I looked at the twins and reached for their hands. "Ready?" I asked.

"I've never seen him do something like this." Sam laughed and grabbed my hand.

"You look happier." Luke smiled at him and Sonic took a deep breath.

"I am." He told the twins then looked at me and nodded. I chaos controlled us away.

The rest of the night was just smiling, laughing, we made it official. We got married. We even went to buy the rings and we were wearing them. We went to Sonics house and the twins went to sleep. I went to the hotel to get my things since I didn't have that many for traveling so much.

We both woke up early the next morning since Rouge had called me. I groaned softly and hugged what was in my arms but I heard a purr and I smiled remembering everything that happened the previous day. So much happened.

I nuzzled Sonic and he purred louder then groaned quietly when we heard my phone ringing again. I growled lowly annoyed and picked up the phone.

"What?" I said as cold as I always talked getting a small giggle from Sonic.

"You'll never change." I smiled slightly and kissed his forehead.

"Did I just hear Blue?" It was Rouge. I had forgotten to tell her what we had done. Well, it will work now that everyone would see us.

"Shut up. Why are you calling so early?" I rubbed my face then I petted Sonic only to get him to purr loudly and I swear I saw Rouge smiling even though she wasn't visible to me.

"Because Vanilla and Cream are making the food. They are so excited to finally see you two again. I didn't think you actually disappeared on them as well. They want to do that at Sonics house and I gave them the address and you know how they are. They are probably already on their way... or getting there." And as if in cue, there was a knock on the front door.

"I heard the door knock." I mumbled.

"Why did you spend the night with Sonic?" Rouge asked but I hung up before she could ask anything else.

"Sonic..." I whispered and kissed his ear. "Vanilla and Cream are here." I said softly as he smiled and opened his eyes then kissed me making me immediately kiss back.

"Let's go." Sonic said smiling and quickly dashed off to get ready. I chuckled softly and I fixed my quills and I went to the restroom as well in a rush to not make them wait so much. We both dashed to the door and I opened it. The twins were still asleep.

As soon as I opened the door, I was tackled down by Cream as Vanilla immediately hugged Sonic. I laughed softly as I held Cream while I hit the ground making me groan quietly  at the impact but still laugh.

"I can't believe you found each other again!" Cream giggled and stood up then helped me up and apologized to me. "Are you back together?" She giggled once more.

"Cream." Vanilla said as if she wasn't supposed to ask that. "Oh my." Vanilla said and I looked to where she was looking at. The wedding rings.

Sonic nervously laughed and nodded. "We... Kind of rushed things. We couldn't wait." He laughed and I nodded.

"We got married yesterday night." I said and Cream smiled brightly.

"I knew you'd get back together Mr Shadow. It took a while but I knew you would." I blushed lightly at what Cream said and I smiled then nodded.

"Come on in." I said and they walked in.

"My kids are still asleep. I let them sleep a bit more on their days off." Sonic said softly and they nodded.

"We can't wait to meet them." Vanilla said softly and smiled. "We will be in the kitchen." She walked in and I thanked her. I looked at Sonic and walked back to our room with him then closed the door and immediately kissed him.

He slowly back to the bed and sat down as I got on top of him. I moved my hands to his waist and rubbed his sides then we both tensed up and pulled away when there was knocking on our door. I frowned lightly as Sonic laughed and went to open the door as I sat down.

"Who is in the kitchen?" Luke asked. "I went to get a cup of water and I heard girls laughing. I freaked out and came here."

"That's Vanilla and Cream. They are our friends." I said as I sat up correctly.

"Is Sam awake?" Sonic asked him and he nodded as he yawned.

"Taking a shower." He walked out then walked again as if he remembered something. "Come with me?" He sheepishly smiled at both of us and we both chuckled at him.

"Let's wait for your brother." I said and he looked at me then at Sonic.

"We don't want another brother, Shadow." He then walked out making both of us blush lightly.

"Luke!" Sonic said as he rubbed his face and tried to calm down.

"He didn't say anything about a sister~" I walked to him and hugged him from behind making Sonic blush a very bright color.

"Shadow! Stop!" He laughed as he blushed.

"Let's go." I laughed softly and walked to the door. Just then. There was a knock at the door. I told Sonic to go get the kids and I went to open the door. I was smiling, I couldn't help myself. I was too happy to not smile.

As soon as I opened the door, I was once again tackled by a hug. "I'm so happy for you!" Even though I hadn't seen who was hugging me, I immediately recognized who it was.

"Thanks." I laughed softly.

"Rouge!" We both turned around to see Sonic and the twins. I let go of Rouge and she flew to Sonic and hugged him.

"It's so nice seeing you again, Blue!" She gasped when she saw the twins and flew to them. "Are these your kids? They look so much like you! You probably have everyone going after you like your mom had when we were a team." Rouge said and we both laughed as I moved closer to Sonic.

The kids laughed softly and introduced themselves then Vanilla and Cream and they all started talking. We heard another knock but Sonic opened it this time.

"Tails..." I looked back at Sonic to see he had frozen in place and a taller twin tailed fox looked at him. It was definitely Tails.

"Who is he?" Sam asked as he stood next to me.

"Why is mom scared?" Luke asked.

"He is not scared... Tails is one of the closest friends Sonic had..." I smiled slightly at seeing Miles hug Sonic tightly and Sonic letting tears roll down his muzzle and immediately hug back. "He raised him basically." I said and they slowly nodded.

"So he is our...?" Sam asked.

"Uncle basically." I said and looked at Tails seeing the ring then looked at me.

"Shadow? You and Shadow...? What?! Since when?" Miles shouted and saw the twins beside me. "A while I see." I tensed up.

"No. No. Miles, these are Luke and Sam, Sonics kids. I'm basically now their step dad, Sonic and I got married yesterday." I smiled as Sonic walked to me and held my hand then rested a hand on Luke's shoulder.

"You What?!" Rouge shouted from behind.  I tensed up.

"You didn't tell her? She is going to kill you." Sonic laughed and the twins looked at us confused.

"I thought she noticed the rings when she walked in." I mumbled and Sonic laughed.

Rouge immediately ran to me trying to kick me, she was clearly mad since I didn't invite her to the day I got married. I quickly hand controlled behind her.

"You are so dead." Rouge glared at me.

Sonic's P.O.V.
"There is no way she will get him, right?" The twins said and I chuckled.

"Watch." I said as we saw Rouge and Shadow fight through the house.

"Calm down! Rouge!" Shadow shouted as Rouge kept trying to hit him.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She shouted and finally managed to kick Shadow.

"That's why you never get on Rouges bad side." I heard Knuckles behind me and I gasped and turned around then chuckled.

"Hey, Knucklehead!" I laughed and he rolled his eyes.

"You have not changed, huh?" He scoffed and hugged me making me groan quietly since he hugged me a bit too tight.

The rest of the day, more and more of my old friends started to come. Shadow and I made the announcement that we had gotten married and we all took a group picture and posted it online. In a matter of minutes, we were popular again. Everyone was talking about our adventures and thanking us in the comments of our pictures.

We all decided to go to the park and we would see many people with their phones out taking pictures of us. It was like back then. I did not care about what the popularity. I was happy that all my friends were with me.

During this day, the twins got along with Shadow and had fun with all my friends. Everyone congratulated us and told us how happy they were for Shadow and I to be back together. Even our fans were congratulating us and telling us we should had gotten married sooner.

When the day ended, everyone went back to their houses but we made a promise to keep in touch. The twins left with Vanilla, Cream and Rouge since they wanted to hear more stories from back then. Before they left, they warned Shadow not to touch me.

"They would kill you if they find out." I laughed softly as Shadow pinned me down to the bed.

"They won't find out." Shadow growled seductively then grabbed a condom.

"You really want to use that~?" I frowned lightly and he raised a brow.

"You want me killed, don't you?" He looked at me and I laughed softly.

"Let's try." I said before we had a very busy night.

Days went by and then a week, Shadow and I were happy and he had gotten along with the twins but while they were making breakfast. I was in the restroom crying.

"Sonic, breakfast is ready!" I heard Shadow shout from downstairs so I walked to them and the three of them looked at me confused and worried then the twins immediately glared at Shadow.

"What did you-" they were about to accuse him when I broke the news.

"I'm pregnant." I said and they all looked at me shocked.

"What...?" Shadow chuckled in shock then walked to me. "Are you serious?"

"I-I took 3 just in case and they all came out positive. I'm pregnant." I smiled as I saw Shadow smilie brightly then kissed me not caring that the twins were watching.

The twins instead of shout or fight with Shadow, they ran to us and hugged both of us when Shadow pull away from the kiss.

I hugged them back loving the feeling of being with Shadow and having a family with him and now having his pup too.

I looked at Shadow in the eyes and he smiled at me, he looked happy, genuinely happy.

We were a family.
