Sonic's P.O.V.
I closed the door as I blushed and lowered my ears. Shadow chaos controlled away as soon as we both said that. I rubbed my face and turn around then rested back on the door then my ears perked up and I looked up to see the twins standing in front of me.

"You love him?!" They both shouted in disbelief making my ear twitch and sigh.

"That didn't mean anything. We've gone years away from each other and knowing him, he will probably not talk to me for a long time." I mumbled with my ears lowered. "And it isn't your decision if I see him or not." I said sternly.

"But Mom!" Sam started but I crossed my arms.

"But he hurt you!" Luke said.

"You also had no right to listen to our conversation." I made a face signaling how mad I was at them.

"But we had to. We don't need a Dad." Luke said and I chuckled.

"If Shadow and I date, that doesn't mean we are going to get married. Plus, you don't even know him." I said a bit more calmer to them.

"We don't want to." Sam answered.

"He isn't good for you." Luke then responded.

"It's none of your-" I stopped when I heard my phone ring and I answered without checking who it was. "Yes?"

"Do you want to meet with everyone else?" It was Shadow.

"What? Are you serious?"

"I can get in contact with the others, I am sure Sam and Luke will want to meet the rest of their family." I lowered my ears.

"They will be mad though." I said and he chuckled. The kids looked at me confused so I put the phone in speaker.

"I am sure they won't be. They'll understand. I will call everyone but Rose. I don't even want to see her. I'll even call Miles."

"Who's Miles?" The twins asked and looked at me.

"I'm on speaker?" Shadow and I chuckled and I nodded.

"Yes. The kids were mad since they heard our conversation." I answered.

"We aren't kids. And you can't see our Mom." They said in sync. They would usually do that which I found weird.

"I understand. But trust me, I don't want to hurt your mom or either of you. I love him though and I would love if you give me a chance to be with him." Shadow said making me blush and smile. He was good with kids which didn't surprise me.

"Shadow, you are asking my kids if you can date me?" I asked with a chuckle.

"They love you, you are their Mom, their family. I know me asking is really important to them. I promise all I want is to be with you again. Make you happy, be happy." I couldn't stop smiling at what he was saying.

I glanced at the twins who just looked at the phone. Sam spoke first with a stutter.

"Y-You'll leave the moment you hurt him." He said sternly.

"I can tell you made our mom happy, so we will give you one chance with him." Luke said and I chuckled softly.

"Then there is only one thing I can do now." He hung up and I raised a brow confused. There was a knock on the door and I opened it just to smile at seeing Shadow with a bouquet of roses. "Will you go out with me?" He asked as I blushed.

I laughed softly and nodded at him as I blushed. He was the romantic and jealous type, I knew that since we started dating years ago but he still surprised me. "Yes." I walked to him and hugged him and he did so too.

We didn't kiss since we both knew the kids were watching.

"Okay, thats enough." Sam said and we both pulled away then looked at them. "We don't want any siblings."

"Hey!" I shouted at Sam embarrassed for what he said.

Shadow chuckled and gave me the flowers then gave me a folder. I immediately recognized it. It was Shadow's files, all his information.

"I got it when I left GUN. Give it to them. They don't trust me enough, maybe they will calm down if they know my background." Shadow said then he looked at me as if asking if he could tell them. I nodded giving him permission. "After Eggman left, GUN made sure to delete every single trace of all of us being heroes, so your generation wouldn't grow up being afraid like Sonic and everyone else did."

"What?" The twins asked Shadow.

"We knew Mom was important since he is really known everywhere we go but no one ever told us why. And he doesn't like talking about it." Luke said and I nodded.

"I guess Shadow Can tell you everything if you let him." I said and they both nodded looking excited.

"Mom never mentioned anyone. He has a picture of you and him. We did a bit of research of you and we saw many pictures of you hurting him." Sam explained and crossed his arms.

"You have a picture of us?" Shadow asked and I blushed.

"Shut up." I looked away and went to put the flowers in a vase with water making Shadow laugh softly.

"Why did you hurt him?" They asked in sync.

"You mind helping me explain how everything happened?" Shadow hummed and looked at me making me smiled.

"You mean how we all saved the world?" I laughed and they looked at me confused.

"Let's start where you fought in space and went to a different... world? How you saved everyone? Or maybe the time you came back to life?" I walked to him.

I laughed. "How about the times we fought together? Or how I got you to join us after fighting with Eggman against us?" He rolled his eyes playfully.

"I apologized a billion times for that." I walked closer to him. Completely forgetting about the kids.

"Please don't kiss!" The twins quickly shouted in sync snapping us out of our moment. We both blushed and took a step back away from each other.

"Will you explain how all of this happened?! Is this true? There is no way this is true! You are a hero?!" Luke said excited.

Shadow and I chuckled and sat down with them and started talking. Explaining to them everything we ever went through. Obviously avoiding some parts not wanting to traumatize them. We spent hours talking and laughing and I watched Shadow immediately start getting along with them. It didn't surprise me but it scared me. It scared me that they were starting to like him not wanting for them to get hurt if the relationship didn't work out.

"So? What do you say? Want to meet the rest of your family?" Shadow asked them. "That is if your mom is okay with it."

I tensed up. "I don't know... I haven't seen them since I left..."

"But that was a misunderstanding Mom and they should know what happened." Sam said softly.

"Were They mad?" I asked Shadow and he stayed quiet for a bit.

"They were hurt. Rouge would never stop bothering me to go find you. That everyone missed you but they were never mad. They will be more than happy to see you again and to meet the twins." He smiled softly at me making me calm down.

I took a deep breathe and nodded. "Alright... This weekend?" I asked and he nodded. "Actually, what if...?"

I chuckled and Shadow immediately caught on and dropped his ears. "Sonic..." He rubbed his face. "No..."

"Please?" I smiled and laughed.

"She is going to kill me." He immediately gave in to me making me laugh a bit more and I moved closer to Shadow as he got his phone out.

"What are you doing?" Sam asked confused and I chuckled.

"You'll see. Cover your ears." I warned them and Shadow video called Rouge who quickly answered. I moved out of the way so she couldn't see me yet but looked at the screen.

"Shadow the Hedgehog! How could you leave without saying anything?! You have not returned my calls! Where are you?!" Rouge shouted way too loud making all of us hiss quickly even though I was covering my ears too.

I moved into view and smiled. "Hey Rouge!" Her expression was priceless. She looked shocked and surprised as she couldn't find the words.

"What?! Wait- w-What?! Sonic! Is that really you?!" She shouted happily and I nodded and waved at her.

"Yes. It is me. Shadow and I bumped into each other yesterday." I chuckled. The kids walked into view since they wanted to see who it was. Rouge immediately looked at them shocked when she saw them. "Rouge, these are my kids, Luke and Sam."

"You have kids? Hun, are you married?" She asked and I knew what she was trying to do and so did Shadow.

"It's a long story, Bat which we can talk about when you bring everyone here on Friday. All except Rose." Shadow said and I nodded.

"Of course! Just give me an address! I'll have everyone there! Just answer my question." She smiled and we both laughed.

"Rouge, Shadow and I are back together." I said and she giggled and yelled happily making us all lower our ears and laugh, even the kids.

"I'll call everyone!" She hung up. I laughed and looked at Shadow.

"She is going to kill you when she sees you. And I mean by questions and hugs." Shadow chuckled.

"I know... I remember how she is." I hummed.

"She tried looking for you herself. She wanted to find you, get you to come back. But one day all your stuff was gone and she knew she shouldn't bother you. She always hoped you came back one day... We all did." I looked at him with my ears lowered. The kids saw how important this was and went to their rooms so I moved closer and kissed him softly which he immediately kissed back.

He deepened the kiss and I let him. I had missed this so much. I had missed being with him, being in his arms, being his. I had missed having the support of someone and somehow I just knew that Shadow and I would definitely last.

We both slowly pulled away for air and he kissed my forehead then we rested in one another's foreheads. I smiled slightly and hugged him tightly and he did so too.

"I missed you..." We both said in sync.

Shadow's P.O.V.
"What ever happened to Amy?" Sonic asked and I stayed quiet trying to remember.

"I don't know. She suddenly disappeared too. Never saw her again. Rouge did and she stayed in contact with her for a while until I told her what had happened and then she lost contact with her too." I shrugged and he nodded. I pulled him closer and kept my arms wrapped around him. "You have a beautiful family."

"Shadow... I don't want them to be hurt if this doesn't work out..." He said and I chuckled.

"It will work out. I promise it will. I will not let you go again. Not again." I hugged him once again loving having him once again in my arms.

"I love you." I smiled at hearing him say those words I always missed coming out of his mouth.

"I love you so much more~" I said softly and kissed him then slowly pulled away. "If you are a herm, how come you never got pregnant when we-?" He cut me off as he blushed.

"I have no idea. Don't you even dare to even think of trying to get me pregnant." He said and I laughed.

"Why not~?" I joked to see his reaction.

"I'm not ready for that again yet..." He blushed a bright color and my ears perked up.

"Oh~? Yet?" I raised a brow and he pinned his ears down.

"Shadow." He crossed his arms and I laughed then kissed his cheek.

"You know I'm just messing around." I hummed and pulled him to my lap.

"If this works out though~ I wouldn't mind." He purred lowly.

"Mom!" We both tensed up and Sonic quickly got off my lap then stood up before the kids got to us.

"What? Is everything okay?" Sonic asked as he calmed down his blush.

"We don't have school tomorrow can't we meet them tomorrow?" The twins asked and they looked at me making me tense up lightly.

"Sure. If your mom is okay with that. I can go see Rouge and help her get everything ready for tomorrow." They smiled and looked at Sonic who simply nodded as he chuckled.

"Of course. But it has to be early since you have school the next day."

"We are not calling you 'dad' by the way. Just because you are dating our mom doesn't mean we have to call you that." Sam said to me and I chuckled.

"I don't want you calling me like that. You can if you want to but I am not forcing you to. But I do want you to know one thing, I dated your mom years ago and I fell for him and regret every single moment I was without him for what Rose did to us. I love him and I am not leaving his side nor yours any time soon." I said softly and Luke rolled his eyes.

"You are trying to get us to like you. But you aren't going to get that so easily." Luke said.

"Boys, go to sleep. Shadow and I will take care of everything for tomorrow." Sonic held my hand and said softly to the kids.

The twins nodded and they left. Sonic and I spent the next few hours talking and called Rouge. We told her to keep it a secret for the others then I looked at Sonic and blushed lightly.

"Why don't we get married?" I asked and he tensed up and looked at me shocked.
