Some one had told me late last night

That they saw amongst the media sites

We were set to go to war once again

But this time with a kind of new country

They say it's going to be a blood bath

But I sit here ready for whatever happens

We live in a world where survival is key

It's either kill or be killed, eat or be eaten

See where this greed has gone and driven us?!

Soon the fields will be littered with corpses

Worse than those battlefields of the civil war!!

Is this the kind of land we fought for?

No one's at peace everyone's at war!!

Is this what our father's strived for?

They wanted a place ran by democracy

That's why they started their own damn country!!

But we allow to be ruled by a tyrant

We should've just stayed in the motherland!

The lives we've lost from all the wars we fought

Cause of the greed of those that rule over us!!

T'was done without thought it counts for naught!!

Can you not see that history has come full circle?!

This isn't the future this is the bitter past!!

We tried to break free from it but it's back!!

Though they don't wear a crown it's still the same!!

Noblemen dressed like common men in ancient times.

The earth will be lit up like a fucking super nova

And blood will rain from the skies drenching the children

But we'll continue to murder for the sake of power

We are a land of the people by the people for the people

But all I see is blood and death all around me

Can't you see or are you blinded by their lies?!

We are all slaves to everything even to this land that we burn

And no matter how much we kill each other to claim her

In the end we will all die but she will return!!

Maybe next time we'll learn to be a bit more kind to one another

For now we must just take the consequences for our actions

I pray God have mercy on those individuals who wish for peace

And keeps them safe during this battle for more territory
