Thomas wasn't as exceptional academically a he was physically. People viewing him as the dumb jock of the Wayne Family, saying it was no wonder he had no part in the company. He was a gifted athlete, but he didn't enjoy being part of a team, at least the ones that were in the private school his parents enrolled him in.....

In and out of the manor he practiced, playing with Bruce for fun in the old days.. ..... But now he decided to use a bat for other reasons in his life..

He was angry, he was bored the night it all started. Selina called out for some help. A heist went wrong and  he grabbed a bat.. He ended up hospitalizing someone and collecting his own cut.

He started using his old protective gear, instead of turning to Lucius to avoid suspicion. Buying stronger, more dangerous equipment. It looked a little funny to some people before he started shattering things, bones.

You were in the middle of a fight with him your weapon\your powers connecting with his unique bat called 'crusher.'

You knocked him to the ground but he recovered quickly.

You caught Thomas in the middle of his regimen.

It started when you recognized sportsmaster somehow but couldn't quite explain till you saw Thomas lifting waits with an angry look.

"I love lacrosse." You couldn't believe that's what he chose to defend himself with, but when you fired at him, threw things at him he just threw it right back at you with it.

You couldn't believe it when Thomas pulled out the hockey puck and stick.. But when he sent it flying \ sliding towards you it exploded.

The shuttlecock was a smock bomb..

He threw the baseballs in the air and hit them. Each of them hit your stomach and your chest mercilessly. 

He slammed his bat in Oswald's bad leg.

He ripped the man from his car and hit him again and again.

He pressed the equipment against your neck." One thing will snap and it won't be this.."

When the ball collided with the targets head all you heard was a crack.

"My mask does look like Voorhes..."

"Calling me the Grim Gretsky. "

"How would you feel if I took you out of the field? Out of commison... Permanently. "

Surprising the man outside of his car and beating him mercilessly before dragging him off.
