"Would it be wrong of me to ask you on a date?" William asked Rowan one day. It was a rainy day off for William when he called Rowan and asked if she had wanted to come over. It had been a few weeks since William spent the night at Rowan's. A few weeks since their first and only kiss. A few weeks since Carter confessed his love for Rowan. He still hadn't talked to her.

"Like a real date?" Rowan asked. The pair of friends were sitting on William's couch watching 10 Things I Hate About You. They had hung out a lot recently ever since that night at Rowan's. "Ya, like we get dressed up nice and go to dinner and I take cute pictures of you and I kiss you goodnight and pay for your dinner." He explained and she smiled. "I don't think I would mind that."

And that's how Rowan ended up on a date with one of the hottest, most sought after men in the city. She had called Amelia and Elise and they rushed to her apartment. Rowan had never been on a real date. William was taking her to this nice Italian restaurant in town at 6 and it was currently 4 and she was panicking. She hopped in the shower and shaved. You don't have to shave in the winter in Toronto, especially when you don't have a boyfriend.

When she was satisfied, she hopped out and walked into her room and found her 2 best friends scavenging through her closet for an outfit. They pulled out lots of options but nothing seemed right. They had one more option, and it was a dark green dress with a black jacket with a fur hood. "I love that, I'll wear that." Rowan said and grabbed the outfit, along with black tights and her white Doc Marten boots.

She changed and came out of the bathroom and Elise and Amelia started hyping her up. "Look at you go! William is not going to be able to keep it in his pants." Amelia yelled and Rowan rolled her eyes at that.

"William must be really special if he got YOU to go on a date." Elise said and Rowan smiled. William was special. There was something about him that Rowan was so attracted to. Maybe it was his looks, or his kindness, or just the way he's an overall amazing person. She was attracted to him and she was falling hard.

The 3 girls just chilled at Rowan's apartment for 30 minutes before the buzzer rang through Rowan's apartment. William was at the door, waiting to be buzzed in. Rowan buzzed him in and the 2 girls squealed, Rowan blushing. She would be lying if she said she wasn't incredibly nervous. A knock sounded on her door a few minutes later and her heart raced.

She opened the door to reveal William holding a bouquet of roses. "I didn't know which flowers were your favorite but I figured all girls like roses." He said nervously and she smiled. "They're gorgeous, I love them." She put them in a vase and said bye to Elise and Amelia.

"Shall we?" William asked. "We shall."
