"chapter 8- something"

asher laid in his bed tossing & turning all night. he couldn't decide what he should say to brooke & how he should say it. after seeing brooke & jordan banging in the hot tub he felt feelings he'd never thought a girl could bring out of him. anger, jealousy, & pain. he didn't know if he was in love with brooke, but he felt something.

he sat in bed all night contemplating what do & next thing asher knew his alarm for school went off. he got ready for school and headed downstairs to walk out the door. he walked through the living room to see his dad passed out on the couch surrounded by beer cans & an empty bottle of bacardi. asher sighed at the sight of his father in this condition. asher tried to help him but nothing worked out. alcoholism isn't a choice, but recovering from it is. & mr adams didn't want to recover.

asher got in his car and sped to the madden residence. he beeped twice like he always did & out walked brooke. she got in the passenger seat, and looked over at him. the car was filled with silence and in that moment. asher knew he'd been in love with brooke since the day they first met. asher said nothing, he just grasped her face and kissed her. a kiss filled with passion & love. not lust.
brooke had no words & neither did asher. asher started the car and continued the drive to school. holding brookes hand the entire ride there.
