"chapter 10- better left alone"

brooke had arrived at school early for a student council meeting. the meeting ended and brooke headed to her locker to grab what she would need for the school day.

after retrieving her things she peered down the hallway to see spencer james & approached him.

"there's a rumor going around." brooke smiled.

"it's just a birthday." spencer sighed.

"well, happy birthday but that's not the rumor." brooke exclaimed.

spencer looked up at brooke confused as she began to elaborate.

"apparently you're the guy to call if i need something fixed. thanks for helping ash with the car. it was cool of you especially since he wasn't the most welcoming student at beverly." brooke said.

"we're cool now." spencer shrugged.

"well, i'm glad. & he told me the truth about his dad and losing their money." brooke added.

"so y'all two are good." spencer asked.

"yeah we're good, it doesn't matter to me how much money someone has. so we'll both be there tomorrow." brooke smiled.

"tomorrow." spencer said confused.

"yeah ms baker sent me the evite." brooke said confused.

"i told her i didn't want a party." spencer sighed

"well, the evite specifically said it wasn't a party, whatever that means." brooke laughed.

"man, that woman can't take no for an answer." spencer said rolling his eyes.

"i'll see your tomorrow spence." brooke said walking off.

as brooke strutted away the twins came out of the staircase arguing.

"i'm gonna tell brooke how i feel olivia no matter what you say." jordan said getting annoyed by his sister.

"you can't do that." olivia exclaimed.

"why not." jordan said laughing.

"it seems like her and asher are finally in a good place. do you really want to mess that up for the girl you care about and your best friend." olivia scolded.

jordan stared at olivia as asher came around the corner.

"hey stud." jordan said smiling and dapping asher up as he kept walking to class.

"so are you gonna help me or no." jordan asked.

"the answers no, some things are just better left alone." olivia said as she walked off.
