Bakugou whimpers again and the man laughs harder.

~Back at headquarters (6 hours earlier)~

After they locked up the Bakugous, they went back to Jiro's office. Todoroki tries to calm Eito down with very little success.

"Maybe we should all just go home" Mina suggests.

"Yeah I agree" Kaminari says.

"Emiko, would you like to come home with us?" Momo asks. Emiko looks over at Todoroki and Eito.

"You can if you would like. We'll be fine" Todoroki says. Eito eventually fell asleep. Emiko nods and walks over to Momo.

"Goodbye everyone" Iida says. Everyone leaves the office and heads to their cars. Todoroki walks to the elevator and presses the button to go to floor 5. The elevator doors open and he walks down the hall to his office.

"Hey Shoto! Wanna play with us?" Fuyumi asks.

"Shh" Todoroki puts a finger over his lips and points to Eito.

"Sorry" She whispers. She stands up and takes Eito from him.

"Be careful. He's hurt" Todoroki warns.

"What happened?" Natsuo asks.

"Long story short, Katsuki has a double, we locked both of them up, and the double's quirk somehow cut him up" Todoroki says.

"Poor thing. Where?" Fuyumi asks, starting to hug Eito

"On his-" Todoroki tries to warn her but it's too late. Eito's head pops up and he starts crying. "Back"

"Oh no. I'm sorry" She hands him back to Todoroki.

"Owie" He whines, laying his head on Todoroki's shoulder.

"I know buddy. I'm sorry" Todoroki runs his fingers through Eito's red and green curls.

"So you don't know which one is the real Bakugou?" Natsuo asks.

"No. They must have done something with the real Katsuki" Todoroki replies, bouncing Eito a little bit.

"That's horrible" Natsuo mutters.

"Yeah. You guys can go home now though. We have Endeavor locked up now" Todoroki says. They nod and pack up their clothes. "Do you guys want a ride?"

"No, we'll walk. Been cooped up inside all day so it'll be nice to get outside" Fuyumi says. Todoroki nods and they all walk down the hall, down the stairs, and out the doors.

"Bye Shoto!" Fuyumi yells waving and pulling Natsuo along with her. Todoroki waves and opens the back door of his car. He starts to put Eito in his seat but he just screams and cries.

"Eito you have to get in your car seat. We're going home"

"No papa!"

"Eito you have to"

"No! Owie"

"I know it hurts but it's dangerous" Todoroki finally gets Eito buckled and he gets into the driver's seat. He pulls out of headquarters and drives the 15 minutes to their house, Eito screaming and crying the whole way.

They finally make it home and Todoroki carries Eito inside with him. He carries him to his and Bakugou's room and lays down with the screaming child. Eito starts coughing and eventually gagging. Todoroki tries to get him to a trashcan in time but it's too late. Eito throws up on the bed.

So I have an injured and sick toddler. My boyfriend was just mind controlled and taken to quarantine. And Eito just vomited on the bed. Is this some kind of movie or TV show?!

"It's okay buddy. You're okay" Todoroki pulls up the little trash can they have beside the bed and Eito throws up into that.

~We gonna skip to the next morning now~

Eito hasn't stopped crying. He's been sobbing for hours. Todoroki does his best to calm him down but nothing is working. Neither of them got any sleep.

"Eito I know you're hurting. And you're sick. And you're probably missing mama. But you have to sleep. You're going to get yourself more sick if you don't sleep" Todoroki begs him. Laying the toddlers head on his shoulder and rubbing his back gently, being VERY careful to not touch the new wound.

None of this makes Eito stop crying though. He balls up Todoroki's shirt in his tiny fist and sobs into his Papa's shoulder.

"Hurt" He sobs.

"I know you're hurt but you have to sleep. You'll feel better"

"No papa"

"Eito you have to" The stress and lack of sleep is getting to Todoroki. A tear rolls down his cheek and lands on Eito's hair. He kisses Eito's head and runs his hands through the messy curls. Eito cries more and Todoroki tries to talk to him.

"Buddy what do you want me to do?" Todoroki asks. He feels helpless. His kid is in pain and he can't do anything to help him. He's given him medicine. He's tried everything and nothing is working.

"Hurt stop" Eito sobs.

"Eito I can't make it stop. I'm sorry" Todoroki holds him close to his chest, tears rolling down his cheeks and getting in Eito's hair. The bedroom door opens but neither of them notice. Someone sits on the bed beside them and Todoroki looks over to see who is it.

"Hey, you okay?" Momo asks, placing her hand on Todoroki's shoulder. He shakes his head and looks back down at Eito.

"He cried all night. He's hurt and sick and I can't do anything about it. I feel so helpless" Todoroki vents to her and she listens. She takes Eito from him and gently pats his back. When Eito realizes Todoroki isn't holding him anymore he whines and leans out of her arms and tries to get back to him. She pulls something from the floor and hands his to Todoroki.

"Mrs. Bakugou stopped by headquarters hoping to find you. She did he was pretty attached to this and that he left it there" She explains. Todoroki moves Eito so that's he's cradling him. He hands the stuffed puppy to Eito and he wraps his short arms around it.

He cries for a few more minutes, then it turns into small whining, soft whimpers, and he eventually fell asleep.

"You are a lifesaver" Todoroki hugs her and she laughs a little. "One night without Bakugou and you're a mess" She jokes.

"Well under these circumstances I think I have a good excuse" He replies.

"You've got a point there"
