Wow 2 chapters in 1 day I'm impressed with myself for having that long of an attention span. Congrats me! Nothing much to say here, if i were to write a ShinDeku, BNHA, or Free! fanfic would y'all read it? Also go listen to Little Talks by Of Monsters and Men. It's a pretty good song. ANYWHO back to the story, I swear its a good one, angsty but good.

As they parted ways, Nishinoya and Tanaka walked over to Shoyo. 'we can win' Tanaka signed. Tanakas been learning JSL with Nishinoya and Asahi so they can communicate with Shoyo better. Shoyo, caught off guard by tanaka signing, nodded and signed back 'we will' and with that the game started. They were up against Nekoma.

The starting line up for Karasuno from bottom-right to top-right is: Kageyama, Nishinoya, Asahi, Daichi, Shoyo, Tanaka and Tsukishima when Noya goes off court. 

The starting line up for Nekoma from bottom-right to top-right is: Nobuyuki, Sohei, Yaku, Kuroo, Kenma, Lev, and Taketora when Yaku goes off court.

All of the other teams at the training camp stopped their games to watch them play since they want to see Shoyos quick attack. As Shoyo was walking to the court he could hear people calling him names and making fun of his height. He decided to ignore them and pay attention to the game instead. Once at his position he finds that he is standing right infront of Kenma. Kenma, now noticing the smaller male, waves and signs 'I thought you'd be on the left today' 'me too but apparently they wanted Daichi instead'. After their little conversation, the whistle blew and Nekoma served the first ball. 

It was the usual during the first half of the first set exept everytime Shoyo and Kageyama tried their quick attack Kageyama would purpously choose Asahi or Daichi to hit it. You could tell it pissed the smaller male off a lot. After Coach Nekomata called a time-out Shoyo went to go to the washroom for a break.

KENMAS POV: 

For some reason Kageyama isn't passing to Shoyo and he looks very mad at him. "I wonder why #10 hasn't done his quick attack yet. Any guesses?" Coach said. I raised my hand knowing Kuroo, Yaku and I are the only ones who could have a good enough guess as to why. 'Kenma' Coach signed. 'his team hates him' I signed. I didn't wanna share anymore, I hate being the center of attention but it had to be stated. "his team hates him? explains why he's always with us or other teams." Inuoka said, and my mother says it's useless to  be able to read lips. "hey Coach quick question" Kuroo said. "Go ahead Captain" "how about we recruit him to our team? Kenma and him make a pretty strong duo, stronger than him and Kageyama!" i just at there, staring at Kuroo to see if he was lying. Nothing. He's really being serious about this. Everyone else is just nodding and no one objecting the idea. "that's not a bad idea, I'll talk to him and Coach Ukai after the match, now go! No dilly daddling!" Coach said. Welp I hope they agree.

We both have set point, on the last set. Karasuno has the ball. I can see the fury in Shoyos eyes. *he's going to need some time after this* I think. With all the energy Shoyo has left, he gets a running start. I see Kageyama debating on what to do. Once Shoyo is at peek height Kageyama looks towards him. I start running towards Shoyo but the ball never comes, Kageyama gave the last shot to Asahi. I glance over to Shoyo, pure hatred, anger, and sadness. The score is now 25-23. I see Karasuno celebrating. I go over to Shoyo who's standing on the other side of the net and put my hand on his shoulder. He turns his attention to me as I look him in the eyes. He could break down any moment now. I just hug him. He needs it right now. He nuzzles his face into my neck and just stays there for a bit. "lemon boy" I whisper in his ear. His body relaxes and I can tell he's smiling. I am too. "follow" I whsiper, not comfortable with anyone else to bear me. I getly hold his hand in mine and start walking to Nekomas room.

I bring him over to Coach Nekomata after we got out of our jerseys. As we get to him we find he's talking to Coach Ukai. I tap Coach Nekomata on the shoulder. 'oh you're here' We nod our heads. 'coach Ukai said he can join the team if he wants.' fuck i forgot to tell Shoyo about the offer. Shoyo looks at me with a confused face. 'Kuroo wants you on our team since Karasuno treats you so poorly' 'oh, okay sure I'll join, but how am i going to go to practices, I live to far away to go from school to practice' 'you could live with me, my mom won't mind' 'you sure?' I simply nod and give him a reasuring nod. I look back to my Coach 'he said sure, he will also live with me and attend Nekoma High so he won't miss practices.' he nods and turns to converse with the other coach. 

We walk back to Nekomas room to tell the the news and get ready for lunch. As we enter everyone looks at us, well more like Shoyo. 'heard red head is joining the team and going to school with us.' Kuroo signed. "WAIT YOU GUYS WERE SERIOUS?!" Lev yells. Of course he's surprised, Kuroo jokes about Shoyo being on the team a lot ever since they met. Shoyo nods. I'm glad that they respect him. 'hey kenma where is he staying?' Inuoka asked. 'with me' i signed back. Everyone just nods and goes back to whatever they were doing before we entered. 

After Shoyo got settled he texted his 'Dad' saying he was staying with me and going to Nekoma High. His 'Dad' didn't care he just left him on read. Shoyo didn't mind it though, something i learned that happens a lot is his 'Dad' ignoring him. I tapped his shoulder 'lunch time, you hungry' i signed. He just nodded. He hasn't signed or spoken in a while, i wonder whats wrong. As we walk down the hall we pass Kageyama, Daichi and Tsukishima. "HEY ASSHOLE" I hear Kageyama yell. I grab Shoyos wrist and start walking faster. He understood what happened and started walking faster too. "WOW YOU GUYS ARE WEAK! JUST A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE YOUR TEAM KICKS YOU OFF" We heard Tsukishima yell. At this point we get to the Meal room and find our team. 

'whats wrong?' Kuroo signed. I didn't have the energy to sign anything back, same with Shoyo. We just sat there eating Cold Soba in silence. Once I finished I felt someone tapping my shoulder. It was Coach. 'you and shoyo are expected to play in our next match after lunch, got it?' Shoyo and I nodded, I guess he's officially part of Nekoma. After everyone finished we headed back to our room to get our clothes for the upcoming practice match. After we got dressed we headed to the bench to warm up. I saw Daichi walking over to us, luckly Kuroo walked up to him to ask what he needed. "why is Hinata on your team? last time I checked he went to Karasuno." Daichi said, with a slight hint of venom lacing through his words. "he's on our team now and he's going to Nekoma. He's OUR number 4" After Kuroos little info dump Daichi left to go back to his team.

After stretching we got our jerseys on we set onto the court.

The starting line up for Fukurodani from bottom-right to top-right is: Sarukui, Konoha, Komi, Bokuto, Akaashi, Onaga and Washio when Komi goes off court.

The starting line up for Nekoma from bottom-right to top-right is: Nobuyuki, Lev, Yaku, Shoyo, Kenma, Kuroo, and Taketora when Yaku goes off court.

3RD POV: THERES SO MANY PLOT TWISTS ITS WEIRD

The game was about to start when Bokuto noticed a certain red head on the opposing team. "HEY AKAASHI LOOK ITS CARROT TOP" everyone looked towards Shoyo. "wait why is he on Nekoma? Isn't he on Karasuno?" Akashi asked. 'I switched schools and teams' Shoyo blankly stated. Akashi nodded. "what he say?" Komi asked. "he switched schools and teams" Akashi restated. The whistle blew, Nekoma served the ball.

After Kuroo got in 3 points Kenma and Shoyo made eye contact, meaning they were going to do the quick attack. They knew Karasuno and Coach Ukai were watching them. Shoyo got a running start the moment the ball was in the air heading towards Kenma. He jumped atleast 370cm. Kenma set the ball towards Shoyo, making sure it was a falling serve too. Shoyo slammed it down so hard it left a mark on the floor where it landed, right infront of Bokuto. The whole gym went silent, Karasuno was pratically trembling at how high he jumped and how hard the ball hit the ground. Everyone was left in shock for a minute before they gave the point. Kenma just stared at Shoyo in the eyes and smiled, a soft and reasuring smile. His signature smile. 

Nekoma took a break at 10-4 with Nekoma in the lead. 'you okay?' Kenma signed to a certain red head. 'yea just shocked that I had all that potential in me that I never used' Shoyo replied. Everyone was sitting on the bench chugging their waters with their towels on their necks. Kenma sat down next to the shorter player and leaned his head on his shoulder, an action they've gotten used to doing when they felt like they needed some reasurence. Kuroo and Yaku were secretly watching the two. "their so cute together" Yaku stated "they seem much happier than before" Yaku nodded at the statment.  

After the first set Nekoma won 25-14. Kenma didn't let Shoyo do the aggressive shot since he didn't want him to break a bone. They did a  couple normal quick attacks throwing the other team off with the speed variety. During their second set Shoyo did the aggressive shot but this time at an angle. He shot right past a triple block that consisted of Bokuto, Akashi, and Washio. Kenma was proud that he did that but he almost broke his wrist with the sudden change in tragectory and aggression. In the end they won the match at 25-17.

After the practice match the duo sneaked past all the teams back to their room to rest. Shoyo collapsed of exhuastion the moment he reached the room. Kenma was equally as tired from the match. They'd have to build up their stamina to reach nationals, but that was a thought for another day. Right now all they wanted to do was sleep. Kenma walked over and placed his blanket down and grabbed shoyos blanket. After that he gently pulled shoyo next to him and placed the blanket over themselves and fell asleep to the sound of their heartbeats. 

WOW I started this at 17:24 and finished at 23:06. I mean thats what you get for watching tiktoks for 30 minutes in between writing. Yuki the cat went to Kenmas house when Kenma called for his mom to pick her up during lunch btw. I'm surprised I got in two chapters today when I'm supposed to be working on english and science but who cares yk? ANYWHO I'll leave now and update in a little bit with chapter 5 :)
