Chapter 9
I DO NOT OWN GRAVITY FALLS
(Pacifica's POV)
I'm sitting in Dippers car, waiting for him to pay for the room. The car has a leather interior. Dipper opens the wing doors and steps in. "Were to now Babe?" He asks.
"Well, I'm really sorry, but I have to go home now. But we have the rest of the week here, and even when we leave, I literally live right next door."
"Yeah your right. Its just that I wish we had more time in the moment, not more time in the future." He took my hands in his. "I just got you, I don't want to leave just yet."
He pulled the car out of the lot and started driving. I leaned back in my seat and closed my eyes. I only opened them when I felt a pair of lips sensitively touching mine. I got up to see my parents house. Dipper took my arm and we walked up to the door. When he knocked my farther answered. He leaned on the door frame, probably trying to look tougher than he is. He stared Dipper in the eyes. "Escapades?"
"Zero," Dipper answered with a calm tone.
My farther then stood up to allow me to enter. Dipper stayed by the door. "Bye Paz."
"Bye Dippy."
I walk into the house, when my dad suddenly grabs my purse. He runs into the living room and starts rummaging through my it. I run in. "What the hell are you doing?"
He doesn't look up. "Looking."
"For what?"
"Pregnancy tests," he pulls my phone out of the purse and starts swiping through my photos. "Pictures of him acting stupid at the wedding," he shrugged. "Basically any dirt I can get on him."
I slapped my dad. He stopped and looked at me quizzically. "What did you do that for?"
"Dad, you haven't learned. I love him and you try to get him in trouble. This is not how a father acts."
I run up the stairs and grab my bright pink suitcase. I go back down the stairs and head straight for the door. As I open it, my dad calls from the living room. "Where do you think your going?"
"Anywhere is better than here."
I was bluffing, I just didn't want him following me. I knew exactly where I was going.
(Dipper's POV)
I was relaxing on the cliff that overlooked the bridge out of Gravity Falls. The wind flowing past my hair. I suddenly hear the doorbell. I open my eyes. Whoever interrupted my meditation had better have a damn good reason. I open the door to see Pacifica standing with her suitcase on the porch. "Pacifica, what are you doing here?"
At the sound of my voice she collapsed onto my shoulder and started to cry softly. "My dad. He tried to get dirt on you when I got home. I never want to go back to that house again." She lifted her head off of my shoulder and looked me in the eyes, hers red with tears. "Can I stay here for the rest if the week? I feel safe with you."
"Of coarse. Your always welcome in any of the Pines or the..." I thought for a bit. "Hey Joseph, what's your last name?" I yell.
Joseph yells back from the kitchen. "Phillips."
"Thanks." I look back at Pacifica. "Your always welcome in any of the Pines or, to the extent of Mabel's addition, Phillips houses."
She broke down in my arms again. I cradled her for a bit while she regained her compassion. She got off my shoulder. "Thanks, you are the nicest person I have ever met."
I lift her chin up with my finger. "You know what the best part is?" I kiss her tenderly on the lips. "I'm all yours, and no one is ever going to change that.
I carry her bag inside as Mabel comes out of the kitchen. "What's going on, I heard a noise."
"My girlfriend, Paz, us going to stay with us for the rest if the week."
Mabel looked so excited. "OMG. You two started dating and you didn't tell me. I don't know whether to be happy or annoyed."
She ran up to both if us and gave us a huge group hug. Pacifica smiled. "Happy it is then."
